Can you delete files with edge code?

When I try to make a new file it comes up with an error message it says Error creating file, an error when you try to create the file "name.type". The target directory cannot be changed.

Do you have some good people already made Zen coding extension for media or anyone know some is it creates now so that we can hope that it soon?
