  Adding to what James said, this is true for Lightroom and Photoshop. In other words, do not necessarily install previous versions, but all by installing the latest versions, in this case 5 Lightroom and PS CS6, you key in series for previous versions as well with the current criteria.

  I implemented a similar to that described here backup strategy: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14192/bkscenar002.htm#sthref801. My backup script has these steps include:
  
  # Backup tape flash recovery area
  BACKUP RECOVERY AREA;
  # delete obsolete backups on tape
  REMOVE the TYPE of DEVICE OBSOLETE sbt;
  
  I noticed that some backup sets is deleted band due to being outdated and the next day they are written on the tape again. This is because I do not explicitly remove obsolete backupsets of FRA on disc (they are automatically deleted by Oracle when the pressure of space arises), but obsolete backups are deleted explicitly the Ribbon.
  And because only "AREA of RECOVERY of BACKUP" backups FRA whole tape, including obsolete backups, who are transferred to the Strip and then deleted every day until they are automatically removed from the FRA.

  I apologize, I think I misread the scenario. However, to my knowledge there is no direct way to accomplish what you want to do (although it would certainly be a useful feature).

  In your case, if it can be done with politics / the volume of your band, you could DELETE OBSOLETE less often against the heap and therefore files will remain on disk longer and will not be copied to tape several times.

  I am trying to load my favorites sidebar FF on my old drive to my new computer.
  Personally, I did not backup any kind of FF, but I guess that FF automatically as a result, it can load bookmarks in the sidebar on reboot.
  I tell myself that these bookmarks sidebar must be stored somewhere which can be accessed and loaded on the new drive.
  I can find previous sessions, but they don't have that some bookmarks saved, I have had hundreds before the computer goes dead.
  I run windows 7 on the old drive to the new computer has windows 8, do not know if that makes a difference.

  I looked at my other computers and you see that the 8 .json files & 9 KB have been saved on my drive are very small and have only 10 or so brand book, they should be about 200KB.
  I have no idea why they saved so small, but something did not work.
