These icons

So what is the Red play button for?

Also, I see the play on the communicating objects icon, what is the purpose? I guess to suspend the object at this point?

Red triangle signifies the end of the chronology of the object is linked at the end of the chronology of the slide. If you increase the timeline of the slide, the end point of the chronology of the object will move to the right, its length remains the same, which means that the beginning of the timeline of the object moves to the right as well. Personally in the training I always warn to avoid this because it is rarely sought. If you time something for the rest of the slide (CTRL-E), by increasing the duration of the slide will also spend the end of the chronology of the object, but the beginning won't move, which means that will extend the chronology of the object. It is especially the situation that is often sought.

Not sure what means the vertical line thin! It refers to the point of suspension of an interactive object, will appear together for Click box (always at the end), button in the text input box (default is 1.5 seconds), button and form (1.5 seconds). The double bar is IMO not the universal symbol for play but for break: it looks like this on each device. It is not in the exact spot of the break, but indicates that a break occurs, which is cutting vertical bar. Check the Timing Panel, you will see the exact moment of the break it.

Question slides are also a point of suspension, by default 1.5secs, but it is NOT displayed in the synchronization properties panel.

D & D slides also have a suspension point to 1.5 seconds, which does not appear in the timeline panel, but can be changed in the D & D Panel.

If you set a button shape on a slide at the break, he still will pause at the end of a slide to which the slide master is applied.

Have you tried the method Apple 'recommended', i.e. parts dragging one of these icons and cares for her... then the copy of the icon should disappear. But it does not... .the duplicate icon then a few 'jumps' back on my toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

Have also tried the key 'command' and then by dragging the icon desired and holding to it... but the same thing happens... compare to disappear, the icon "just jump" back to my toolbar.

The only time I see two icons for a Mozilla application in the dock is when I have to restart after installing an extension or a new theme. The additional icon disappears if I restart again. I have an extension that gives me a reset button to use. There is an add-on for Firefox that can give you a reset button, if you care to try this remedy.

  • What we call all these icons?

What we call this area of the screen?

My original question was where this icon came, but I thought about it.  I forgot what we call this area of the screen however.

A flask of car as an icon with green waves made its appearance with the other icons at the top right of the screen

It looks like a usb dongle.  The green rooms wave singles of wifi.

I think I've figured this out. Around this time that I installed, TP-Link TL-WN725N wireless dongle.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones that are these icons & how to remove?

It seems that I can not post a screenshot... Well, there are two icons exactly where notifications appear, a large, white and looks like two circles connected by a stick, the other and much smaller, black and looks the same... But I have no new notifications.

    umbralsoul wrote:
The second icon looks like voicemail one but much smaller and with a dot above.

Well, there must be some third party application you got installed with a notification.

    WhatsApp, Kik?

    umbralsoul wrote:
I don't have an answering machine, but there's a number six next to the icon and a number next to each other.

If you have an icon of wandering answering MACHINE waiting on your home screen:
Dial your voicemail and clear the message.
    * You can call your BB from another and leave a message. You BB, call your voicemail and clear and delete your messages.
    * If the above fails, pull your battery to reset and restart your BlackBerry.

  • where windows stores these custom folder icons?

    Can you help me?

    I use windows 7.

When I create a new folder, I wish to customize its icon by clicking on the original yellow to the "icons of width Properties\Customize\Folder" and then clicking on the button 'change icon '.

My question is: I like these icons, so I would like to know where the windows store?, in other words, I want to find a path of windows.

    Thank you very much!

    They are contained in:

    C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll

They are not individual icons within a folder

  • How can I add an icon to a Web page in my bookmarks bar?

Most Web pages have the coding for the small square icon in the bookmarks toolbar.
    Some do not.
How can I add an icon to a Web page that does not have an assigned icon?

It saves space for icons rather than a description of the page.

These icons are called the favicons. Unfortunately, there no Firefox builtin feature to customize or change the favicon as the favicon is determined by a line in the HTML code of the site.

There are many addons for Firefox that improve your browsing experience and allow you to make some customizations to Firefox. You can browse the addons of Firefox here.

The only addon that I could find was the Favicon Images bookmarks addon, but it seems that there are some restrictions and you are only allowed to choose an icon from the list of the addon, not a custom image.

  • Icons of Facebook displaying not, 10 Windows, Firefox 40

Also asked, the answers are not applicable.

Basically, running firefox 40 on Windows 10, facebook icons are not displayed. It is particularly difficult when the icons such as notification ones and even the main menu of facebook appear not, excluding the possibility of easy to disconnect etc..

As stated, this question has been asked and answered elsewhere, but the expected answers are not applicable here, that is to say I don't have images blocked for facebook (under Tools > > Page Info > > Media (tab)), and yet these icons and most, if not all the others are not displayed. Refresh the page several times can sometimes cause the icons reappear, and then they disappear again to navigation on facebook.

I found the source of my problem! I hope it can be useful to someone else reading this.

Basically, my antivirus (avast free) blocked a lot of content, but only on the protocols, https, including facebook and may other job sites. Avast's scanning https and block or otherwise interfere with Web sites, causing many problems with https.

In the end I first disabled the https on avast scanner, which is not good anyway, you don't want a middle man (in this case avast) scan https communication, because it is designed to be private... but then I noticed that the avast web protection modules caused so many other browser slowdowns and the web in general questions I uninstalled avast completely and went with another product AV.

In short, if you have problems with facebook or any other Web site, with icons and images / buttons etc showing does not, AND you use avast antivirus, then it is likely that avast causes this problem. You can either disable https scanning (in avast settings) or go with another anti-virus.

    I hope this helps.

  • Unknown icon in the calendar

I use the modular face for my Apple Watch, and looking at my calendar, sometimes I see a unusual icon next to calendar events that I can't find an explanation to. I think I know what he calls after a few tests, but I was looking for another opinion. When you check the user's Guide, these icon explanations are for status icons.

The icon is an exclamation inside a circle. It is quite small, the same height as the police. In my view, it is advising me that it has more than one event planned within the time limit. I believe this because if I go into my calendar on the iPhone and disable other iCloud calendars, it disappears, but when I turn on the other calendars, it seems. My wife and I sometimes work schedules overlap, so it is possible that more than one event at the same time.

If anyone has seen this before, or can provide a different explanation that I have reviewed, I'd appreciate it.

    Hello

The icon on which you are referring to indicates that you have a scheduling conflict in your calendar.

  • In the forum Coursera pages there are different icons and buttons, but I see that only holders of palce, small squares with letters in there. Any help?

In the pages of the coursera.org forum, there are different icons and buttons. They do not display correctly. I can see only tiny forms square with characters in them. Hovering on them can display information in some cases, but it is not very convenient. Although they recommend Firefox, I use Chrome instead. Chrome has no questions here so far. Is it possible to view these icons correctly?

Many sites now use downloadable fonts to create their icons instead of the traditional image files. So, there are some Firefox settings that might be a factor, as well as the NoScript extension, if you use this (blocked objects).

    (1) in the dialog box fonts Advanced, unchecking the checkbox which allows the site to use its own choice of fonts. To check that:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

Here you must "allow pages to choose their own fonts.

    (2) on the deactivation of fonts downloaded in: config. It's less likely, or you remember probably not, but here's how to check on it.

    • In a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
    • In the search box at the top of the list, type or paste the gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered
    • If gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled preference is bold and user, set false, double-click it to return it true.

    This seems useful.

  • Why my address bar has a series of icons (rather than the url) when I click on certain sites?

When I visit certain websites, instead of the URL for the site appearing in my address bar, I get this long string of weird looking for icons that extend all the way through to the address bar in the search bar. I have never seen this before until a few months ago. When I click the icon on the far left inside the address bar I get this message: "this website does not provide identity information.

Is it possible to get rid of these icons and have the site URL appears in the place?

    Hello

The leftmost button is the Site identity button. For more information about this, please see:

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the other icons disappear. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

If these icons are still there on your address in safe mode bar, please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How to make a screenshot of my problem?

Once you have done so, attach the file to screen shot saved to your post on the forum by clicking on the button Browse... under the box to post your reply . This will help us to visualize the problem.

  • Send mail icon incorrect user

I have a problem with Mail.

I have several me / iCloud profiles: one for staff and a couple for work. If I use a log-in single user on my computer but put in place all the Me / iCloud profiles as "internet accounts" to this single user log-in, mail routinely sends users wrong icons when I send emails. Thus, for example, if I send an email from me / iCloud profile 1: Mail send icon profile from the 1 with the information of the sender; If I send an email from me / iCloud profile 2: Mail send icon profile from the 3 with the information of the sender.

This isn't a specific problem with a log-in. This behavior is consistent across multiple computers we have here. All do the same thing when several Me / iCloud profiles are added to a single user log-in. The only 'solution' that I found is to create several newspapers-ins, one for every me / iCloud profile. It works but it's a pain.

I know it has been one problem for others, but does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I don't see where anyone could fix this, but maybe I missed it.

Mail sends a photo of the user (icons). You see these icons only, based on the photos you attached to your Contacts.

Your email recipients will see only what they have added to their address books, if anything.
