ThinkPad tablet 2 slow/fast load on different occasions

Hi the Thinkpad tablet 2 users.

I know there are a lot of bugs were found so far. For me, I had to return once because of the incapbility of the digitizer on this tablet. I got a new one seems flawless, but I just found something that might be quite annoying but interesting at the same time, as the title suggests, so here are the details:

-If I have my Tablet completely off and then plug the micro usb cable to recharge (mode ca, or what is called: wall plug), after nearly 9 hours, the battery % is 30% ~ 90%, which is extremely slow.

-If I turn on my computer while charging and turn it off again, it loads much faster, from 30% to 100% in less than 3 hours.

-In a similar to the one above, if I let it load mode 'sleep', she also go much faster

In conclusion: there seems to be something in the window 8 who control the load, it seems that whenever you leave your window to know that he is in charge, she goes much more quickly than if you have it completely turned off and plug the cable to recharge. I need more time to test this theory, but if you have the same experience, please leave a message here, even just 'me too' or 'here '.

Best,

Tuan

  • Sites Internet slow to load, the steam is horrible...

Maybe two weeks Firefox has ceased to be usable for me. Web sites are slow to load, and if I, for example, listening to audio streams in a single window and load one Web page to another, the sound cuts. If I'm watching a video, the version low resolution will load and will buffer, play a little and then set buffer again. It's like using dialup. At first I thought it was a network problem. I restarted but still no luck. Then I tried Safari, and everything is just as fast as it should. For some reason any Firefox thinks that I have a slow network. Anyone know what is happening? Thank you.

  • Satellite L850 1LK very slow to load images

Ive had this machine for almost 3 years, it was fine for the first two, but now that it does become a chore.
I only really ever use it to surf the internet and upload pictures and its main problem is the use of the internet.
Images and web pages are extremely slow to load even on a good fast wired connection. Ive had the computer restored by a local store who claimed they reset the map graphic, but in reality they probably just restored to the factory under the toshiba bloatware.
It worked fine for 2 days, then became slow again, im glad this is not a virus or malware related problem.
Just wondering realistic if we can do something with it, or is it better to forget everything and move on to something new.
Its been updated level to windows 10, but the problem existed on 8 too.

  • IPad 2 slow to load and removes programs

I have an iPad 2, 4-5 years old, slow to load programs and falls frequently. Is it time for a new pad or a problem?

My models of iPad 2 and 3 are running just fine and dandy on the last iOS 9.2.1.

So the questions is not affects all former iPad users anywhere in the world.

What free data storage space is left on your iPad?

Ideally, your iPad needs to maintain a minimum free data storage space of 3-6 GB of space for reliable operation and ensure the possibility of update/update successful iOS.

If you get low on iPad for free space, then it is time to back up important data before deciiding what to remove from your iPad to make more free space on it.

How did you perform the upgrade?

Do the update/upgrade using WiFi is a less reliable method to upgrade.

It is better to upgrade an iDevice connected to a computer running iTunes with you sync iDevice had and backed up by iTunes rather than OTA Over The Air () using a wireless WiFi connection, if possible. Doing a major or critical OS update/update may be risky to do in Wifi or cell due to the risk of interruption of data or forged data, causing problems with downloading the OS data and the subsequent installation of the unit.

If you have no other choice than to use the Wifi, then make sure that you have a solid and stable connection the will of the signal does not induce the possibility of dropout data. Also, it is best to do the update/update via iTunes you will get the update/upgrade entire and not only a smaller WiFi download version/serving based on your iDevice to model that can or can not download everything that your particular iDevice needs. I prefer the iTunes method because there is minimal risk, and I've never had PROBLEMS with ANY operating system, updates using this method.

Here's my growing list of my possible corrections/suggestions to try on your iPad.

    Try them all.

    A disclaimer clause.

I make no warranty, express or implied, that my own procedures return EACH older iPad to a usable state, running.

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.

If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.

Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.

Try changing / using web browser third another, different.

I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.

I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.

This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.

In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".

You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

In the application settings, under the Panel of Safari, turn off / disable Safari Suggestions.

If you are willing to do (I, personally, would not recommend this), some users have reported that turn off find my phone/iPad, in the settings app in iCloud, has improved the performance of iOS, although I have no how this feature could be the cause of such a slowdown in execution, unless it's a bug in the iOS which only affects some iPad users.

Try an another hard reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

    I have a new Thinkpad Tablet 2 with windows, Non-cryptage, 32 gig.

  • Memory, ThinkPad Tablet 64 GB Version 2

I got my ThinkPad Tablet 2, who ordered the 64 GB version, precisely because I new that I got some programs that require a lot of space for resources.

Upon receipt, I saw the list of materials that referenced a USB has been provided for 32 GB units. Surprisingly, the units of 64 GB loading this information in ram effectively denying what should have been a considerable amount of memory live.

Anyway is to unload files to a memory stick system recovery in order to free the RAM?

I think I found a way. This creates a recovery USB disk.

    1. tap search in the bar of charms.

    2. Type "Recovery" and then press on to find settings

    3. click on 'create a disc of Recvovery '.

    4. follow the steps in this wizard

    5. in the end, it will give you the option to delete the recovery section on the hard disk to free up space now that it is saved to USB.

  • ThinkPad Tablet - the missing card

    Hello

Overall, I am that I am very happy with my Thinkpad Tablet Android (1838). But something which is a must for this tablet is the docking station for charging the Tablet faster and reliable than with a USB port.

But sometimes I want to host the Tablet each time taking me some time since I had to remove the folio to anchor it.

I feel like there is a missing adapter that connects the Thinkpad 20V - 65W adapter on port dock the Tablet, like a cable and not as a complete dock.

Does anyone tried to create their custom adapter, or is this something similar that can work to recharge the tablet with the port dock (but not using the lenovo docking station).

    Thank you

  • Windows store is slow to load.

Store Windows is very slow on all my computers in Windows 8.

I have a desktop computer and 2 tablets. I use them on different wired networks and wireless. All devices are slow when I open the store. The first page is slow, apps download is slow, update apps is slow.

I use these devices to launch Internet Explorer and other browsers, and it works very quickly. There is no problem with the internet speed.

    Hey Derek,

The question can be generated if Windows Store Cache is often not removed.

    (1) remember you to make changes to the computer before this problem?

    (2) which are used to connect, Microsoft or Local account?

    Follow the steps:

    Method 1:

The WSReset.exe is a tool that resets the store Windows without changing account settings or remove installed apps.

    (a) press"Windows+R"key on the keyboard to open the run window.
    (b) in the run window, type "wsreset. exe"and click ok it will clear all hide all Windows store."

    Method 2:

Make sure that the date and time are correct on the computer.

    (a) check the Date/time setting by selecting the tile office and then left click on the time in the corner.

    (b) click on change date and time. And then check that the time zone is correct and the time of the internet tab has the ability to synchronize with the time server Internet.

Also, click on the link and refer to the statement to execute convenience store Apps.

  • Why thumbnails slow to load when I discover bins?

I have asked this before, but still did not get a response.

When I'm in the icon display, vignettes / poster frames / icons are very slow to load. I can't find a setting to change the quality or mobilize more RAM for this task, or whatever. It allows to work in 2015 CC PP frustrating.

Of course, I'm on a Dell XPS 13 laptop, Core i7 and graphics card Intel HD card (4500?).

If there is no solution, and the problem is in my material, fine. The next question is: if I have to buy a new system for editing, what particular requirement would speed up the loading of thumbnails? Is it RAM, processor, graphics card? I don't want to buy a system with "bonds minimum" only to find that it does not load the thumbnails quickly or runs slowly in general.

I don't want to buy a system that is an exaggeration just to solve a problem.

    Thanks for any help!

    Jeff

Make sure that your cache files have been deleted. Otherwise, it may be material. My feeling is to have more of an internal drive (HDD or SSD), a fast processor and lots of RAM depending on the type of media you will deal with. Graphics NVIDIA is preferred with at least 2 GB of VRAM (my minimum, no anyhone else). A fast properly cooled CPU and RAM to at least 32 GB. My configuration:

    CPU: 5960 x, water-cooled

    Video: GTX 980 Ti

    RAM: DDR4, 64 GB.

Discs: 4 internal + SSD for the system. (Many suggest using SSDS for all readers.)

Ensure the computer is dedicated to publishing only.

  • Develop module is slow to load images in Lightroom CC 2015

Whenever I look at a new image, it is slow to load in the develop module. Which means that when I click on a thumbnail, the image looks flat and not edited for 1-2 seconds until finally, it support. This occurs even after the generation of previews of standard sizes.

The library module is always fast and has no problem with that.  This problem did not exist before the update of Lightroom CC 2015.

Everyone has noticed this or a solution?

    • Browse Lightroom preferences, then the tab file processing.
