This last update turns out to be a train wreck! I can't even not any work done now, because I keep having new problems. What did you do Adobe?

Firstly I could not do the update to install, everything uninstalled, run cleaner, reinstalled the new version, the update program now apps (ps, AI, etc.) crashes on a regular basis, cloud will not be signed in... yada blah blah blah! Should not have this much frustration with something that I pay $600 a year.

    Your update of Feb. 01, 2012 has ruined the firefox I knew.
    It opens new windows and I can't stop it.
    It is no longer open tabs I had open when I closed it, causes me a lot of work.

    It ignores the settings I have in the options, and quite frankly, if it ignores the basic parameters, I have to wonder how safe it really is now...

    You should reverse this update and review what you did... I hate this new version, and I will be uninstalling.

    Update here: I spent some time restart FF in safe mode and turning my extensions on one at a time. I realized that the add-on "Disconnect from Facebook" was causing problems mentioned above. Once I disabled this extension, my browser back to normal. I don't know if other extensions are causing this problem, but this troubleshooting method worked for me.

    PS - I returned to disconnect from Facebook and manually updated, and now it works well.

All my software works except my Photoshop CS3, which I use most. I loaded the software disc and download online. First of all, I can't open my camera RAW (I can with my Lightroom software, but not with my Photoshop software?). So I can't open any of my files of digital camera? Second, I can open a .jpeg file and use the Photoshop software and I can save the changes, but when I turn off my calculated the software doesn't seem to be on my computer. When I go to Windows ' search program and files "software is not located here. When I go to "Uninstall" the software of the foldername is there it is. "Photoshop CS3" but there isn't any size file to it IE 400 MB, while my software "Lightroom" on the 'uninstall' section will have a file for example size 400 MB tied to it. Thirdly, I also have a photosoftware of B + W, which operated in Photoshop; It's "NIK software - Silver Efex Pro" and it is located in the subtitle of 'filter' of Photoshop CS3. I use Silver Efex and all functions are working properly, but I can't save the file, it does not save the changes to save.

  • On my desktop XP higher Dimension, after this last update, Firefox comes without any content in the content window, it's just all white.

    Since the last update, there is no content in my content window. I can see the items in the browser and see that it works, but the content page is empty, even after it has finished loading the page of the site.

    I've always had my tabs below my address bar, and I find it incredibly annoying and ineffective to have above my address bar, as well as over my bookmarks bar.

    Before this update I could fix this terribly designed annoyance by laboriously going in: config and setting browser.tabs.onTop to false instead of to say the opportunity to change this in the settings. It was not very obvious for someone who likes the OPTIONS rather than being forced to comply with new design bad decisions, but at least it worked.

    With this latest update however, enter: config and while not affecting false browser.tabs.onTop no more miracle now mucked tabs tool bar on top of the rather than below the address bar.

  • After the last update (today), Firefox crashes constantly. How can I uninstall this last update? I tried to create new profiles and they also crash.

    Firefox worked earlier today (August 19, 2013 6:30 pm EDT). When I opened Firefix after it IS 9, Firefox has attempted to perform an update. No error was given, but now Firefox does not start. Run a Windows 8 machine with all the updates and current security with no malware known on my system software.

    When I try to start Firefox, the system shows the circle of"work", but then nothing. I created a new profile and got Firefox to start, but whenever I try to go to a website, Firefox crashes.

    The last 2 reports of incidents of today:
    InstallTime20130814063812 (content: 1376962029)
    LastCrash (content: 1376969373)

    Firefox IS working with Windows 8 in Mode safe (I got a message saying Firefox had not been closed properly) with a new profile. If I used an existing profile, Firefox would start and then close when I went to ANY website or any just not start. I shouldn't be no CRASH REPORT has been generated, just a code updated in the LASTCRASH file.

    I have created a new profile, turned off all plugins, redonfigured my security suite of network to start automatically and restarted normally. When Windows came, I launched Firefox with the new profile, went to a few sites only to confirm it worked and then activated the security suite. No problems. I then reactivated some of my plug-ins. I had problems again when all the following plugins have been re-activated:

        -- Java Development Toolkit 7.0.250.16 10.25.2.16
        -- RealDownloader Plugin 16.0.2.32
        -- RealNetworks RealDownloader 1.3.2.28
        -- Shockwave for Director
    

    With these off and the new profile, FIrefox is now working normally. Thank you!

    (4) return to the magnified window and close it first, before doing anything in the new window.
