Thunderbird incompatible gels when moving messages, Windows 10

From about three weeks ago, I started having temporary gels in Thunderbird. I had made no changes to anything in Thunderbird, my AV (Avast Pro Antivirus) or the rest of my computer Windows 10.

Gels don't happen that when I get an email from a folder to the other, but I never know if & when a freeze up, which will happen. They last around 20 to 40 seconds. When trying to deliberately cause a freeze-up of moving messages autour, a lot, I can't get it to happen. This allows to test your time, because all I can do is wait for it to happen.

No matter if I'm moving messages between folders on an IMAP server or in local files, or if I am of IMAP messages to local folders. I don't generally take messages on IMAP folder.

Thunderbird is normally installed on my system drive, which is an SSD. To save space on the SSD, I keep my Thunderbird profile on my data disk, which is a normal hard drive.

Things I did to try to solve this problem:

-Uninstalled Thunderbird. Cleaning, then reinstall it. Created the new profile of Thunderbird and imported my messages, address books and calendar of the old profile data.

-Disable all add-ons.

-Options: Security: Antivirus: Unchecked "allow anti-virus clients to quarantine incoming messages."

-Disabled Avast Antivirus Pro.

-Complete computer scan with Avast Antivirus Pro, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Spybot Search & Destroy, SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition. Rootkit scans also. Bad cookies only found and removed.

Always gels.

Latest version of Thunderbird (45.4.0), on Windows Pro 10, 64-bit. A lot of memory and disk space available.

-First of all, try to disable Allow Windows Search to search for messages in tools > Options > advanced Panel > general tab.

-If this does not help, try to disable search indexing in Windows, also known as the Indexing Options. See here for more information.

    If you have configured the option synchronize with the server then it should periodically be auto sync. The first info I gave was to force the file to synchronize when you went back online.

    Check that you have configured the option automatically synchronize.

    We moved just our content to a new server: Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 (IIS6).
    We use Cold Fusion MX 7,0,2,142559.

    Everything works fine after moving to the exception:


    1. < cfdocument > (no, that more simple) crashes, producing the error: "the document has no pages. NULL.


    2. < cfchart > accidents producing error: "an invalid attribute: autoAdjust null.

    What can be? Where should we look for? Is it some problem/feature/blocking of Windows 2003? Or it looks like Cold Fusion has not been installed properly?
    Patches are required?

    I would avoid 7.0.1 installation patches on a 7.0.2 installation.   The 7.0.2 release notes state that "it includes also all previous ColdFusion MX 7 patches that were released to date, eliminating the need to install several hotfixes and patches."

  • Ultiboard gel when moving components

    Hello

    As I solved it my previous problem, I came across another.

    In Ultiboard, when I try to move some components (such as a driver or FET) my Ultiboard program just freeze.

    I can't change it's shape or whatever, but it does not solve my problem. It still freezes my Ultiboard when he moves.

    I noticed that the problem is in my drawing itself. I tried to move the items on 3 different computers, with all the same result.

    It's really taking me a lot of time, actually too; as I'm getting really close to my limit.

    I really hope someone can help out me.

    Try this and let us know what happened...

    First disable complete control real-time DRC... in the Options-> global preferences menu and in the "PCB Design" tab, select the option 'no real time control' under the net of DRC & check settings.   Try to move the part, does that help?

    Disable the second part hustle... the menu Options-> part push and click the icon to toggle the mode.   Try to move the part, does that help?

  • Open message window is too big

    When I double-click on a message, it opens in a new window, which is what I want. The problem is too big for one of my two monitors. I can manually move the window with a tedious combination of keystrokes on the keyboard / mouse clicks, which would almost be OK. The real problem is that TB remembers the settings in this window, and every time I open a message in a new window, I have the same problem. I tried these for one for this issue, without success. I use a new computer with new software: 8.1 win and a fresh install of TB.

    1. When a message window is opened, view-> Zoom-> Reset (or Ctrl-0 is a zero)
    2. Try to view-> discussion-> ignore Threads.
    3. You have everything running antivirus software?
    4. In Control Panel-> ease of access, have you changed the display settings?
    5. Try to run without Add - ons. Help-> restart with disabled modules.

    I have the same problem after updating to OS 10.11.4. What is an IMAP account? If so, what worked for me was to remove the e-mail account and recreate it.

    Sorry, but at the moment "Dial in tab" is not yet possible. You will always have a new window when the composition or the sponsor/transfer a message.

    Thunderbird is compatible with Windows 10. Defender problems are exactly that. Something that Microsoft needs to fix.

    Regarding a malicious attachments go. What of them?

    Before they can do any harm, they must be transformed into a binary file in the text, they are converted to attach them to the message and then be written in the Temp folder so they can be passed to the operating system with an application for opening of their. An antivirus program that cannot detect the payload of a newly written file and keep it opens is not worth the CPU cycles which is uses for to fail in its primary function. Defender claims to do this. If it isn't, still an issue for Microsoft. Now Thunderbird...

    Download and save the fix it 50202 from the page above.

    Close all open programs and browsers before you run the fix it.
