• DW changes not reflected in the browser

  Recent changes I made to the code are not reflected in the display in my browser. This includes the latest Firefox and IE8. Same thing in design and Live of DW views. For example, I just removed the code for a form in one of my pages in DW, present in preview in both browsers, and the form is still there even if I completely removed the code for the page. I thought that this could be a cache problem, but same result after I cleared the cache of Firefox. Also IE8 shows again the form too even if I had not tested the page in the browser at all in the recent past. I thought that after reviewing the FAQ here remove the WinFileCache might help, but has not changed anything. The form is always appear on the page in both browsers even if 'ghost' code has been completely removed from the page. This happened with another page of the other night, where I replaced a chart in the file, but the old graphic still appears in the browser. Looking for advice. Thank you.

  And you have a local test server configuration, or you just view the file directly in the browser?

  I pretty much followed the steps described in the article of John Stegeman to http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/adf-development-essentials/part1.html (great article, John should write a chapter in the command source in the next book of JDev 11 Duncan Mills working, just my 2 cents)
  
  After the first check in files, I did NOT see the icons changed in the browser of the Application. I opened the mywork directory in a file manager and delete my project. JDev11 open,

  Updated a file - no changes in icons
  Committed changes - any changes in the icons
  Opens the project browser web - dav directory - click on a modified file - files shows changes
  Making another change not to table - no changes in icons
  Close and open JDev - no changes in icons
  
  Is there a setting, is this a bug, I have something wrong, is what is happening to someone else, or - what is supposed to happen?
  I would like a visual clue to determine if a file is different from the repository, or which is stored in my local .svn directory on my working copy last save?

  It seems that this is not an authentication problem. Excluded by the proxy settings?

  I had one of our teams using the apache server and give linux a try and reproduce your problem but without success.

  Can you try to compare the configuration of Subversion among the Linux computer and a Windows computer file?

  The Linux configuration file is ~/.subversion/server
  Windows is %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Subversion\server.
  Special attention for the proxy settings.

  You can also try to create a repository on the same Linux with JDev and testing with file:/// Protocol. To do that use the Versioning JDev-> Subversion-> Create repository command. If it is successful, you can test it against https://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/.

• Database backend changes not reflected in demand for ADF

  I have a request of the ADF that displays data of Oracle XE backend database. The application works very well. Due to a requirement that I changed the data directly in the database for some lines. Now when I access the application I still see the old values in the application of the ADF. Is there any cache I need to delete? Can someone please suggest?

  You need to validate your changes. I guess that in the SQL Developer there is a button for this.

• WebDAV repository changes be reflected not in BPEL

  My problem is that I have the repository of files running on a machine a WebDav. I installed a service of process and the decision of BPEL in machine B. The decision service uses the machine A WebDav repository. Everything works fine, but when I make changes in the repository, these changes not reflected in the BPEL process until I have fired the BPEL process. Can you please let me know the solution to this problem?

• Oracle MAF: Changing data in non-reflecting DB in WebService.

  I use Oracle of the CRG as well as AMPA (A-team Mobile Accelerator persistence) to develop a mobile application.

  MAF Version: 2.1.2.0.41

  AMPA Version: 12.1.3.2.32

  WebLogic Version: 12.x

  Oracle Toplink Version: oracle.toplink_12.1.3

  I encountered this problem often, I made changes to data manually to the backend (Oracle DB) and try to get the data modified by Web service URL in the browser. But data changes to does not appear until I restarted the WebLogic Server (where I deployed the Application WebService) and redeploy the application.

  Is it possible to reflect the changes without restarting the WebLogic Server? Because it will be needed when this application become a request for support.  Please suggest.

  PS: Please comment below, if you need clarification in this regard.

  I have a situation where I have a couple of ArrayCollections and a string inside my template class (all are static public). I use the API of reflection AS to display all of the variables available in the model to the user and to choose one of them. Everything that the user selects is given to a custom with a Set accessor function component.

  If the user selects collection ArrayCollection, the custom component assigned as dataProvider of a chart inside controls. However, if the user selects the string variable, the component affects its value to a text of the label inside. Later, if I change the values in the ArrayCollection collection externally, the changes are reflected in the chart, but if I change the value of the string variable (external), the label is not displayed changes. How can I get through it?

  OK, so the problem comes from the fact that a static property cannot be thought binded MXML (text = "{ModelLocator.stringName}" ") and not thinking AS3 using ChangeWatcher or BindingUtils.

  Your ModelLocator class, isn't supposed to be a singleton? That would solve your problem.

  Otherwise, you will need to manually manage changes on your static property, and honestly I don't know how to do this...

  It might be a good idea to be more specific on what changed you:

  The profile uses "username" to your user handle display or community name. It seems that it is the one you want to change.

  The login page also uses "username", which is your login name or your email address. This information cannot be seen by others. If you have changed that too, you can specify that, who, according to previous experience, can be the reason of all sorts of problems.

  I think the term "username" is misleading and the account profile page should rather use "community name" or "Nickname" instead of "username" to avoid confusion.

  I can reproduce this behavior. Fortunately, it is only a display bug. When you run the application the object entity attribute cancels the incorrectly set required field of the VO.

  A user may be confused by this setting, even if it is only a Visual problem, I will file a bug on the ADFEMG issue tracker. WARNING: this incident handler has no attached SLA. If you need a patch for this that you must file a SR with support.oracle.com (paid the necessary support contract).

  Number of things I've noticed since this new facility.  I'm a bit new to the product so go easy on me.

  When I make a change recommended that a computer virtual based on an oversized VM report, for example, the change is not reflected.  The changes took place 24 hours ago, I expect to see that, in a new report, I would think.  Also, if I migrate virtual machines from 1 host to another host that the change is not reflected in the tree.  The only way I could get this show had to restart the GUI admin vCOps.  I have waited days after the vmotions and don't see anything.  Any ideas on that?

  The behavior is the same in Acrobat 11 as well. The thumbnails do not get updated until you close the document and reopen it.

  I assume that the 'mapping' occurs during a batch operation (Gendata) through any rule the XDD defined for this field. In the batch, pre and Post Edit calculations do not. This feature is related to the WIP/entry. What you can do is to add a level section - PostImageDAL rule to call your script and protect your land once it was located batch of your operation.

  In FAP that contains that field, add the PostImageDAL rule in the property of the rules in the Section box. In the data box, do call your script.
  Your script is a bit wrong, it seems you were trying to get the 'current' domain name and then check the value of fields. Drop the part and simply name your field in the string in quotation marks in the @ () function and the SetProtect.
