Change of user name, but it is not reflecting

Hello

I changed my user name display on the community page of my profile is not reflecting. As you can see, in the image below (my main language is Portuguese):

username.png

Please help me on this.

Kind regards.

It might be a good idea to be more specific on what changed you:

The profile uses "username" to your user handle display or community name. It seems that it is the one you want to change.

The login page also uses "username", which is your login name or your email address. This information cannot be seen by others. If you have changed that too, you can specify that, who, according to previous experience, can be the reason of all sorts of problems.

I think the term "username" is misleading and the account profile page should rather use "community name" or "Nickname" instead of "username" to avoid confusion.

  • Update of my native user name, but it does not appear on the planning

I wonder why - after I've updated my native user name (in HSharedServices), and then log in to the planning, my new name does not appear on the masthead of planning - on the upper right corner (next to the logo of Oracle).

PS. I found a trick that replaces the security in planning - if I set the WAGE RATE as READ ONLY, HBR does NOT obey security, it allows users to update the RATES OF COMPENSATION in its prompt POV.

Updates if you restart services, maybe that's a problem with the caching used in planning.

If you have found a bug, then it is worth recording with Oracle, you can see that it has already been resolved with the patch.

  • Account name My Vista "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" is not, despite the change.

My Windows Home Server (WHS) prefer the same name of user account on all computers that I use - for the connection and easier access to the files. So to my Vista computer, I changed my account [ancien_nom] name [name]. Vista indicates the name of the new account everywhere but the server after a while (!) stopped recognizing my account and complains about "a name of the user [name] account log does not exist on Windows Home Server" suggesting I should change the name of the account on the ESM. Since I have other computers where I can't change the name of the account (work computer), for this purpose I changed the name of the account on my Vista computer.

The reason why the WHS could work properly at the beginning maybe I can connect to the WHS folders in a separate process by using the new account name. Choose to save the password - which might have worked for a while, but no more. I also tried to connect as a network device, but I do not correctly reconnect with the identification information data (and saved).

1 is the name of initial account stored anywhere even if I changed and the reason why it can pop as in this case?

    2. any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    3. or is the problem only on the side WHS - then I might have to turn to a WHS forum

  • Deleted user names and passwords will not apear on a list in the form, but if I start typing them they apear

Deleted user names and passwords will not apear on a list in the form, but if I start typing them they same apear if I deleted the history. I encountered this problem on several computers: a PC with XP, one with Windows 7 and Mac so I know for some there is a firefox problem. Somehow the passwords and user names remain stored even if previously deleted. I want to sell my PC but I can not because of security risks. Of course, the problem could be solved by formatting the HARD drive and reinstall the OS, but I want to know how to solve the problem without doing. I've tried everything and still they stay... Please help me... and I want to know if anyone else has this problem. Thank you!

If the names and passwords still show in the password manager so that they are not deleted.
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager

If you don't see them in the password manager, but they still fill then you either they have saved in form or you have an extension that has saved this data.
See remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox

You can check the form data saved with this extension:

  • How to change your user name?

Is the only way to completely close your profile and start a new?

Yes. On this forum, you can only change the full name and not the username.
To change the user name, you would have to contact and administrator, but maybe there's no one around at the moment.
Otherwise, you will need to delete your account via your user profile page and create a new account with the desired name.

  • Cannot change the user name of the forum

If you go to the user control panel, under the profile box, there is a place where we can make our forum user name - which would be nice because this stuff USER-xyz is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, it does not work because you must put a valid e-mail address in order to change your user name... but you can't because it lacks the text box that you are supposed to type in the e-mail address field.

Can a mod contact someone who can take a look at this?

I too have this problem. I really wish that Sony would like to address this forum some to make it easier to use.

  • How to change the user name in windows 7 Professional?

I recently installed windows 7 Professional and by chance I typed my user name and the computer when it prompted me to type it in. When I had typed the wrong characters in and click on 'Next', he wouldn't let me go back and change it, so I was stuck with an unwanted user/computer name. I managed to change the name of the computer for the word you want, but I didn't always know how to change my username.

I went to user accounts, and there was an option to change the name of the account, so I did.
However, none of my directories has changed its name, and all processes in the Task Manager were still running under the same previous user name, which I did not want it to be.

Is there a way to change the username of an account so it affects all the directories, files, folders, etc. without creating a new account with that name? Or, if possible, copy all the files and preferences of the current account to another account with this name?

    Any help is appreciated.

You cannot change a user account by changing just the name. Simply by changing the name will do a cosmetic change only and does not affect the underlying files/folders in the profile.

    1. from an account with administrator privileges, go to control panel > user accounts and to create the new user account named Standard the way you want to and at least one additional administrator account. Call the last 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar.
2 log in to the new Standard user account once if the profile of the files/folders are created and then connect to CompAdmin.
    3. now go to control panel > system > advanced > user profile > settings
    4. you will see where you can copy user accounts. Copy the old account to the new from there. Use her browse to select your new account (C:\Users\newaccount).
5 log in to the new account correctly named and make sure all your stuff is here and it works as you want. When you are satisfied, you can log on and CompAdmin and remove the old account from the control panel > user accounts.

If you want to access your account again, it is corrected automatically, follow these steps:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

General recommendations for the establishment of user accounts

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. Like XP, Vista and all the other modern operating systems, Windows 7 is an OS multi-user with integrated system of accounts such as administrator, by default, all users invited. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrative privileges on Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it will take third-party tools and work outside the operating system.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this by following the instructions written in the first part of this post.

  • Change of user name for Acrobat

    Hi all

Is there a way to change the user name assigned in Acrobat for marking documents in the comments/changes? Currently, this is my email address, which I suppose than acrobat from the record. However, I would like to change to something else, but I have not seen how do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Sam

Your comment is remembered until you tell Acrobat to store another, by editing a comment and update the default. It has nothing to do with the 'identity' in preferences, which is used for digital signatures.

    Here you go:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
