To add a Upload progress bar

Hey BC community.

Created an extensive list of CRM to include an option to download file.  Client files are downloading are Video Files (MPEG or MOV files).

I was wondering if anyone has any code they would like to share for adding a progress bar of video download - is not something flash, just something that shows some kind of download progress.

Help! In a lack of time.

Thank you

Aaron

You can fake using javascript, but there is anyway (as I know) to add a true download progress bar.

What I would recommend, and what I do myself, adds a spinner icon. When you click on submit the icon disappears in the display and tours showing the file are downloaded. Easy to do with some basic JS and a CSS.

    When you transfer large files, that the loading bar does not move. I guess it's a bug. It would be nice to see the download bar move and also show a percentage next to the word download. It comes to large files, it becomes difficult to say if the download works or frozen?

    The upload progress bar is a case of all or nothing for the moment.

    Minimal feedback about the status of the download. No incremental updates.

  • You attempt to add the audio progress bar

    Hello

    I would like to add a progress bar to my Player audio flash.

    At the moment you press a button, a certain sound load and then plays.

    Here is the part of the code:

    function playSong(e:Event):void {}
    If {(my_channel)
    my_channel. Stop();
    }
    var myURL = ("mysong.mp3");
    my_sound = new Sound();
    my_sound. Load (new URLRequest (myURL));
    my_channel = my_sound.play ();
    }

    In order to build a progress bar, I wanted to know the length or duration of the sound, but I keep getting some error messages or 0s in return

    trace (my_sound.duration);

    tells me that the duration is a property not defined

    trace (my_sound.length);

    trace (my_sound.position);

    trace (my_sound.bytesTotal);

    trace (my_sound.bytesLoaded);

    all give me in return a 0

    No idea why? Why can't I access my sound properties?

    I would also be very grateful for any other suggestions on how to add a progress bar. I tried a number of Web sites, but most of the samples are AS2 code...

    Thank you

    After loading is completed, check the length of your sound.

    How to add a progress bar in a function that is called recursively

    Hello

    You can use ScriptUI to create progressbar in your script. Here is an example on how the progress bar can be created:

    var progressRes = "dialogue."

    {\

    text: "Auto Collection,"------

    preferredSize: [450, -1],

    View1: Group\

    {\

    alignment: 'fill', orientation: 'column ', \

    _label: StaticText {alignment: 'left', text: 'reviewing the images...} »}, \

    _Progress: Progressbar {alignment: 'fill', properties: {name: 'progress'}}, \

    _startAndCancel: button {text: 'Start',------}

    started: false, cancelled: false,

    Properties: {name: 'Cancel'} \

    },\

    }\

    }";

    var progressWindow is new window (progressRes);.

    progressWindow.progressBar = progressWindow.findElement ("course").

    progressWindow.cancelButton = progressWindow.findElement ('Cancel');

    progressWindow.cancelButton.onClick = function()

    {

    If (this.started)

    This.Cancelled = true;

    else {}

    This.Started = true;

    This.Text = "Cancel";

    this.window.startWork ();

    }

    Start the 'work' when you click the Start button

    progressWindow.startWork = function()

    {

    While (this.progressBar.value< this.progressbar.maxvalue="">

    ! this.cancelButton.cancelled)

    {

    this.progressBar.value = this.progressBar.value + 1;

    This.Update();

    this.workFunction ();

    }

    progressWindow.close (this.cancelButton.cancelled? 1: 2);

    }

    progressWindow.workFunction = function()

    {

    $.sleep (500);

    }

    progressWindow.setMax = function (maxval)

    {

    progressWindow.progressBar.maxvalue = maxval;

    progressWindow.progressBar.value = 0;

  • There was formerly a progress bar for when the e-mails were being downloaded. It has now disappeared. What happened to him?

    My e-mail provider does not always play nice. There has always been a progress bar in the status bar to indicate that the emails were download correctly. If I don't see the progress bar, I knew to check with the provider. Recently, the progress bar went, and I have no way of knowing whether or not the emails are downloading. They appear any kind of surprise. In addition, I used to send a message that there is no new messages availalble to download (if there is no message to download) on the status bar even. He went as well. I have so no way of knowing if I get no messages because there is no, or if I don't receive messages because the provider did something. So my question is: is this an error with Thunderbird or was there an update which resulted in a loss of function that I relied on? If it's an error, what should I do about it?

    Good to know. It has been long since this problem was asked about. I thought Ad Blocker had fixed their add on.

    You mark this as resolved if it is satisfied? Thanks for the update of the question in order to help the next user of Thunderbird.

  • Download mail and progress bar does not.

    New installation Win 8.1 and tuberculosis 24.5.0 with IMAP email server and there are no Add-ons installed. No solution on the web searches or forum.

    So far, the issue was seen in Win 7, where the progress bar has been distorted on a classic theme but not an Aero theme. In Win 8, the default themes are similar to the Win 7 classic themes, and there is no default Aero themes.

    However, TB works very well by about 8.1 win a classic or a custom theme. If, as a test, you need to install (just) a theme customized Windows site, I wonder if you would see any difference with TB.

  • YouTube progress bar keeps flashing

    I don't think it's a problem of FF because it also happens when I use IE 10, but I always get better help than Youtube or IE.

    When I watch a video on Youtube the guard progress bar appearing and disappearing every few seconds if you move the mouse. I tried to move the mouse in an area off the screen and turn it off (the mouse, it's a Microsoft 3500 wireless) but that made no difference, it just guard appearing and disappearing every few seconds.

    It does exactly the same thing if I use IE10, so I don't think it's an add-on to FF or app. I never use IE10 so I don't have a bunch of applications loaded on it.

    Other sites video don't do this then I think it's a problem of Yotube. He just started to arrive two days ago. Does anyone else have this problem? Or a solution?

    Well I don't know if it will work or not. When I'm went on Youtube to try your suggestion the problem had resolved itself!

    Your good suggestion sounds and quick response is appreciated so I'll mark your message as useful/solved.

    Firefox rules! I always get excellent help.

  • Is there a plugin or a way to remove the green bar address/AwesomeBar progress bar?

    As much as I love Firefox, I don't not too fell in love with the progress bar green wee that fits into the awesomebar in 5. As I installed it 4-status-Evar, I really don't need, and I think it's a bit ugly to be honest.

    Are there plug-ins or options in preference to make it disappear or am I stuck with it until my brain learns just to ignore it?

    Use the options to status-4-Evar, on the "Progress" tab, uncheck "Show progress in the address bar. There is now a "S4E" icon on the location bar or use the options through the Add-ons Manager.

    For more information, see

  • I have the tab progress bar missing in the tabs, even with safe mode of loading. Why is this?

    Page loading progress bar should normally be displayed on tabs. I don't have it. With all active modules or in Safe Mode.

    I've upgraded to Firefox 4 from a previous version. I got Tab Mix Plus installed before provided FF4 a tab loading progress bar itself.

    After upgrading Firefox, I decided I didn't like the look of the new progress bar and it turns off in Tab Mix Plus. I disabled and deleted from Tab Mix Plus later, opting to use the utilities tab instead. Since I removed the Tab Mix Plus, tab load bars are missing.

    I tried to reinstall Tab Mix Plus, which makes progress bars to reappear... until I removed the TMP it's (without disabling the progress bar in TMP this time).

    Y at - it an option of chrome that I disabled because of Tab Mix Plus?

    Firefox 4 does not include a loading tab progress bar. Mozilla testing one for Firefox 4 development but removed because of performance issues. You will need to use an add-on like Tab Mix Plus or status-4-Evar to get a progress bar.

  • A second non-functional progress bar is always visible on the status bar, how do I get rid of him?

    The second bar is inside the handle of resizing on the right side of the status bar. It does nothing, but takes place. The functional progress bar appears only when it is used inside Panel outside panel of authentication on the left side of the status bar and message. I turned the status bar and turn on again - no luck. I also tried to disable all the modules - no luck. I also changed the themes - no luck. I have to re - install the browser?

    Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of your modules is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > themes).

    See the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems and troubleshooting questions with plugins like Flash or Java to solve common Firefox problems

    If this does not work in safe mode and then disable all your extensions and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears.

    You can use "Disable all add-ons" window the startup of Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to disable all extensions.

    You will need to close and restart Firefox after each change via "file > exit ' (Mac: ' Firefox > leave";) Linux: "file > exit ')

    If you have many extensions then you first activate half test extensions that half the problem.

    Continue to divide the bad half that still has the question until you find that one is causing it.

  • Display the progress bar when you use the Calculate function

    Hello

    For my project, I need to convert the raw values of a signal in physical quantities.

    To do this, I use the function "calculate".

    Because I have a lot of data, it takes time, and the user does not know if it works or not.

    The first thing I did, is to Add Dialog.BeginWaitCursor and Dialog.EndWaitCursor which works well, but is not enough.

    To view activity, I want to display a progress created bar before calling 'Calculate' and stopped after that.

    The progress bar does not need to show real progress, but displayed only a movement of progress even if it again to zeor until the end of the calculation.

    I have read some information on the progress made on this forum, but he did on selfmade function and tiara not call functions.

    This is why it is not useful to me.

    I don't know how to do this using vbs.

    Is it possible to create something like this?

    The best solution would be to get the status of the function of 'Calculate' to see where he is, but the function is not created to do this.

    Thanks for all the ideas,

    Best regards

    Hey CFOE,

    I asked R & D at the same time, because I thought I remembered seeing a progress bar continued in tiara before, but I didn't know if it was something we might call with a VBScript command.  I just heard back that you can, and it's here...

    Call AutoLoopInit
    MsgBox "ready to stop the progress bar?

  • Global variable in the progress bar

    I have an existing labview code that consists of a main vi, which is the GUI user, and several (about 70) under vi. I am trying to add a progress bar on the screen before (user GUI) which will be immediately after it hits certain sections of code. I write this using a global variable to store the value of the status and any attempt in the main on-screen progress bar after each increment. Is there a way to link the main progress bar value to the global variable so that it updates as soon as the value is incremented? The problem that I am facing is that when I update the global variable in a Subvi, the progress bar takes the value of the Sub - VI is finished, all the numbers to jump between the two. I know it's because I do not correctly write to the progress bar, but I don't know how to do. If this isn't a good method, are there any suggestions?

    For example:

    SubVi2 SubVi1 Vi main

    (1-4)                (5-8)             (8-12)

    Progress bar: 1 2 3 4 8 12

    (I tried the Progress Bar Library OR offer, but I need a progress bar on the front panel, not a sound upward, so I can debug for code execution)

    Thank you - Adam

    I would go with a motor of Action update the progress bar VIA referance Server vi.  Here is an example of the use of a side effect I have to make this kind of progress bar.

    If you have not read Ben nugget of action engine, it should be mandatory, you can find here

    By building a "resource module" (a special AE that keeps a referance to the resource to act on) after initializint EI, you can call any 'method' on the resorce from anywhere in the instance of the application.  These babys really allow you to do interesting things to the GUI from around where the real action takes place.

  • Progress bar not updated until the end of DLL fn

    I have a DLL that I am incorporating in a wrapper using LabVIEW 2011 SP1 Subvi.

    The exported DLL function updates the program on a PIC Microcontroller memory by creating an interface with the boot loader using only its own protocol CAN interface.

    The service takes about 20 seconds to write, read and check the operation succeeded, and I try to add an indication of progress.

    I have a LabVIEW test application vi which calls the Subvi dll and has a progress bar to provide feedback. Unfortunately I can't get the progress bar to update when the DLL is complete, but not when it does not, then he jumps just from 0% to 100%

    I made the assumption that the DLL is hogging the cpu and not allowing other indicators of labview to day or loops to run.

    The DLL includes calls to sleep briefly (3ms), and I upped half a second to see if that makes a difference

    It doesn't seem to be a way to get other items of LabVIEW to grab a slice of CPU.

    I tried to lower priority of Subvi to see if other threads in the code will preempt.

    I tried from the Subvi as an asynchronous call and collect the return status (with a waiting on asynchronous call) while a separate loop surveys trys to update the progress bar by calling a function exported in the same DLL accessor to get the value of the status property

    I've tried passing a blade refnum and update the property value directly from the DLL function from pointer to the value of parameter of function.

    I tried several variations and combinations.

    Is there a fundamental issue that prevents me from actively update the progress bar, while the DLL function runs, or am I missing a simple mechanism to achieve my goal.

    I look forward to suggestions of solutions or additional reading of the forum

    Thank you

    DLL called in the UI thread? If so, try switching to the call of Thread Safe (if DLL allow, of course)

  • Update the progress bar

    Hello

    When the records are saved in the database SQLite in my application I want to show the progress, because it may take a few seconds, if the amount of data to be backed up is large. So I defined a variable of the ProgressBar:

    private var _pbSaveContent:ProgressBar = new ProgressBar();

    Initializing the user interface I define the attributes and add it to the scene, but still manage not visible (I do that only when the feature there is place to save records is requested):

    with (_pbSaveContent)
    {
        width = 624;
        x = 200;
        y = 250;
        height = 10;
        visible = false;
    }

    addChild(_pbSaveContent);

    Now, when the function is executed to save records in the database I first make visible progress (among others) bar:

    _pbSaveContent.visible = true;

    then count the number of records to be created and then use this number to update the progress bar after every saved recording:

    _pbSaveContent.progress += _numProgressStep;

    I was expecting to the progress bar would be updated every time with the above statement, but the progress bar (filled to 100%) is displayed after all records have been created.

    How can I solve this?

    Unless there is a way to force the Flash to operate on a synchronous cycle frame, you cannot get this to work without changing your stuff of SQLite to use asynchronous support.  I never heard speak in a kind of routine "updateNow()" who would be able to do this, but I'm not a Flash developer for a long time so I could easily just have heard of him yet.

    Search the openAsync() call in the SQLConnection documentation to learn more about the switch to asynchronous SQLite stuff, where the database work is done in another thread and does not prevent your UI to update normally.
