  You cannot merge the comments using Acrobat.com online services (ExportPDF, Adobe PDF Pack and so on). But you can with a subscription of Acrobat. Please see Adobe Acrobat X Standard * publish comments from other reviewers instructions.

  If I have two Word files and manage the links between them (hyperlink on one specific bookmark on the other), is there a way to easily remember (or reproduce) these links on PDF files converted from Word files?

  Here's what I've tested so far.

  -On the source file, the format of the hyperlink is "{filename} .docx #{bookmarkname}. I changed the extension of docx to pdf.

  -Source/target to convert Word files to PDF format.

  -The hyperlink on the converted source PDF is in the format "file:///{targetpath}/{targetfile}%23{bookmarkname"}

  -When I click on the hyperlink on the converted source PDF, security warning pops up with "this document tries to connect to...". »

  -If I click on 'Allow' on the pop-up, the web browser opens with "cannot display this page" error. "

  
  

  I guess that by using the hyperlink is not a viable solution. If the links do not work, do the following manually?

  
  

  - source file Word, remove all hypertext links (because they do not work on PDF even when)

  -convert files to PDF format

  -on target of PDF, the value named destinations on the points corresponding to Favorites
  

  -on the source PDF, find points corresponding to hyperlinks and define the links to destinations named on target PDF.

  
  

  (Actually the situation is more complicated because files are shared at the chapter level and they should be merged for each new version.)

  Password protect the PDF file, you must use Acrobat Pro DC, it is not possible with Reader app.

  I would advise against ever record directly onto a flash drive. For no reason I can understand this often broken leaves files behind.

  Instead, just save it to your desktop and drag it to the usual flash drive (in Windows Explorer or the Finder).

  I try to combine two individual PDF files into a single PDF file. Each file is 32 MB, but when I use acrobat to combine, the newly created "combined" file is only 19 MB. I think I took the necessary steps to ensure no degradation that happens (e.g. large selection size of the file in the Panel options), but I'm still puzzled as to how the two files can be set up as one and be smaller than the two separate files with out any compression. What Miss me?

  When you combine a file, it performs an operation of "save under".  This rewrites all the PDF object in the single file and is supposed to clean the file, while the single files may have had several saves which when you look at the inner workings of the PDF file simply add at the end of the file.  In other words, you get a file more cleanly written and optimized is also recorded for a quick display of Web pages.

  I have a three page PDF that I converted a file need HAVE which is fully editable. Right now, I have already each sheet in artificial intelligence on its own work plan. At first, it seemed that everything was great, but after clicking around, I realized that the text is more or less drawn vs typed by using a font. I guess I could live with it this way and retype the information if necessary. But I was wondering if there was a way to do it differently. Any suggestions?

  You have two separate issues going on here. First of all, Illustrator is not an editor any use, so unless the PDF file has been created in Illustrator with compatibility checked, you will never get editable flawless.

  Second issue is that the text was all converted contours in the PDF file (before it was generated, or during the creation of PDF). There is no way to make the contours in the form of text automatically in text. (OCR software could help save some time hits, but that's all).
