Toolbars and menu vanishing

When I open certain documents (card services credit card statements FIA) in format PDF in Acrobat (file edit view... menus) bar and toolbars disappear.  I can restore the toolbar by clicking the show/hide toolbar button, but I didn't understand how to restore the menu bar.  Given that this only happens with these documents, I guess that it is thanks to a code in the file PDF, Questions:

  1. How can I retstore the menu bar when you view a PDF document?
  2. How can I keep the menu bar to disappear when you open a PDF document?

I use Acrobat 7.1, in the case where that matters.

Thanks in advance,

-Rich

I don't know that you have a choice. It would be to substitute the PDF properties. If you go to one of these PDF files and use ctrl-D, then select initial view, you should see that the UI options have been verified.  What you try to do is to replace the document (I think). I'm not sure that you have the control to automatically substitute the document, but that it will have to just use the F8 and F9 keys. Looks like there is one for windows also controls. To exit the mode full screen, simply use ESC. My manual AA7 has a note on the user interface options, indicating that the user is blocked unless they know the keyboard shortcuts. An author may have a good reason to hide items, it's frustrating to have forced upon you, but I don't think that you have a choice. Bill

  • Is there a way to automatically fill bookmarks and folders of bookmarks in the toolbar and menu for a consistent view?

The separate group of bookmarks in Firefox in the toolbar, Menu and does not sort, I always found it cumbersome to use and manage. The search for bookmarks often means I have to open each one to find a specific bookmark. I am aware of the show all bookmarks in bookmarks option > drop-down Menu (but isn't in the bookmarks bar). I know how to copy the bookmarks and folders etc. but it is hard to do every time I have bookmark. And if I add a new bookmark folder and want a consistent view, I need to copy this folder in the Menu or eitherToolbar and copy the new bookmarks in the toolbar or the Menu as well.

Is there an add-on or option or other alterative that exists to provide that kind of capability?

If not, maybe an adding future functionality to Firefox to eventually change the vision presented in the bookmarks bar and Bookmarks Menu so that they match and can be activated by a new option of FireFox "change the bookmark view show merged Bookmarks Toolbar + Bookmarks Menu bookmarks and folders of bookmarks in the toolbar and menu.

    Thank you very much!

After a few edits, I found a way to accomplish what I want, and fortunately, it can be done in the application of Firefox without needing an add-on.

I simply copy the bookmarks unordered top-level in the top-level bookmarks toolbar and the bookmarks Menu of top-level. This, combined with the convention to add all new bookmarks in the folders under Unsorted Bookmarks or Unsorted Bookmarks, provides the unified content bookmark I want across all views bookmark 3 (Unsorted, Menu, Toolbar).

From the library page (grown by selecting from the menu of Firefox bookmarks bar > show all bookmarks), if I select Unsorted Bookmarks, copy and paste into the bookmarks toolbar and paste in the Menu bookmarks, this is what I want. I actually created a symbolic/reference/shortcut link to Unsorted Bookmarks the other two favorite places can be found.

With Unsorted Bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbars and bookmarks Menu, any add/remove bookmarks or add/delete records or restructuring of the bookmarks under Unsorted Bookmarks directory tree is also immediately reflected in all 3 of the possible locations of bookmark (Unsorted, toolbar, Menu).

The design and implementation of bookmarks supports this simple solution, so Bravo for designers and coders for built-in extensibility / generality which support this approach. And thanks for the posters for giving me some background and history on the bookmarks in Firefox, motivation me digging to find this solution which is quite simple and elegant.

    Thank you!

  • Toolbars and menu bars are too small to use

I installed adobe CS 6 standard on a laptop of Lenovo windows 8.1.

As soon as I opened Photoshop or Illustrator, toolbars and menu bars are too small to use.

The rest of the programs on the laptop are very good.

The user interface is set to wide.  I changed the display settings, and it did not help.

I use a new laptop from Lenovo.  I have several licenses for my business and it installs fine on windows 7.

The nanobook Lenovo isn't a good choice for the use of Photoshop CS6.  Photoshop CC has a feature of the user interface of 200%.

Hello. Recently, there was a change in my toolbars Tools/menus and other information bars bars both upstairs and downstairs. If I click on the Tools button on the menu bar, I can't watch the subheadings unless I have matches the bottom of the list. Now, I can not display any word in the toolbars by scrolling or right-click right unless the specific word is highlighted. I would like to be able to view the words as soon as I click on the title (for example, the title of tools). I can't even show buttons when I right click on a specific place on the screen (to get the buttons edit or something else).

  • In the window of writing V.31.3, there is no option "insert" on the toolbar and ctrl-l does not. I can't find any way to insert a link.

    14.04 Ubuntu

According to me, he's working the composition in plain text. Hold the SHIFT key when you click Write, reply to or forward. Raw text does not support inserts so that they are not available in the toolbar or menu when the text is in use.

It is supposed to open appropriate, responses and transfers in text mode compatible with the original message. The default for writing new messages is defined in the account settings. However, it is also possible to define default values of individual Contacts and also to specific areas, so in my humble OPINION, it's too easy for a contradiction or incompatibility to ask how the behavior can be unpredictable.

And I think it's buggy. I sometimes write to a newsgroup where HTML is frowned upon, so TB is put in plain text but almost always chooses HTML. Go figure.

You can simply paste the links in the text. There is no need of the Insert | Link antics.

It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable extensions, hardware acceleration, and a few other advanced features of Firefox. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still works

After stops in Firefox, a small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not reset).

    Any difference?

You can disable hardware acceleration for all modes in the Options dialog box.

  • When Firefox has been updated automatically, it deleted my yahoo toolbar and I cannot reinstall it.

When Firefox is automatically updated to 29, he deleted my yahoo toolbar and I cannot reinstall it. I go through the motions of the installation of the toolbar, and when I restart Firefox, the toolbar is there for a split second and then is removed from the display. I have since withdrawn from the Firefox's automatic update feature and update only if I deem it necessary and non-destructive. In the past, your software has also removed the Add on Social Fixer. Hello

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
      • Mac: Delete Firefox in the Applications folder.
      • Linux: If you have installed Firefox with the distribution-based package manager, you must use the same way to uninstall: see Install Firefox on Linux. If you have downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

The star to bookmark on the right side of the toolbar has disappeared. I have read the bandages and can't find anything on how to pin it to the taskbar. I restored the toolbar, and it did not reappear. What should I do to get it back. The bookmark tab is not a practice.
