  • Game change, add text fonts to a font by default and size

I use the function "add text" a lot throughout the day and want to be able to set a default font which is our police company approved instead of having to change the font and size of every time I use it.

Is this possible?  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC thru creative cloud.

It is possible that if you use the feedback tool add text, not the text to add editing content.

  • Add the text - Acrobat XI accidents tool repeatedly, especially with spacing

I installed Acrobat x to XI, and I use it a lot for taking notes. I'm having a lot of problems with crashes using the text tool add - in particular, it seems when I placed the police to double line spacing. The program seems to get confused and crash - for example sometimes just before crashing, the cursor changes to Flash in a place where it is actually not (IE in the middle of the empty double-spaced line). Sometimes it just hangs. It seems that if I try to resize the text box when you work with it, my chances of accident are higher. It's so bad that I record the program about every 15 seconds - and it hangs at least very 5-10 min.

Also has anyone seen this problem? My only workaround solution will now be to print the PDF and take notes by hand. Any other suggestions?

    Thank you!

The tool you use is suitable for editing strings.

It is not an appropriate way to place notes on a PDF file.

For note taking Acrobat provides commentary and annotation of design tools.

The annotations made with them (the correct tool) are in the list of comments that can be exported to a report of comments if you wish.

Indeed, because of the tool you use, you "Edit" the PDF.

PDF isn't a word-processing file format and is intolerant of processing as "changes".

(See ISO 32000-1: 2008, the ISO standard for PDF.)

Editing characters and strings is possible and Acrobat provides strong tools for this.

But, once again, (and that you have observed) actions in a PDF of 'change' leads to a PDF goobered.

    So, no "get around" necessary.

Just use the tools to provide for taking (the comment and annotation of design annotation tools).

    Be well...

  • Any way to make the default text caption stick?

    Hello

Is it possible to change the legend of default text in a specific font and size.  When I record, it works very well, Captivate keeps my 18-black police.  But when I manually add text captions, the size goes back to another font size of 10.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Sorry to be a little late, I work with Captivate 5 all the time now, almost forgotten some features in CP4.

The default layout for the text captions that you chose, is possible for text captions that appear during capture. I think you point to editing, preferences, default record?

When you manually add text captions, there is not such a value by default (as it is now with the object to CP5 styles) but you can achieve your goal in two ways:

    1. Change the TC first you want, CP has a memory and all following captions that you add will have the same layout. This function even memory when you open a new project, the last remembered formatting will be applied.
    2. If you want to change the layout of all the existing legends (but this does not always work perfectly), try the feature "apply to all".
    3. Create a template with properly formatted text captions and use it for your projects
    4. Apply a design template.

  • Copyright text - font size

I know that we have addressed this issue to a certain extent in the past, but I was wondering if there was a further discussion or updates regarding the formatting of the text of the copyright law. Is it at least possible to reduce the font size when using the copyright feature in Lightroom? According to me, the default text is much too important and not professional looking to use for business purposes.

As much as I know there is no way to do it directly in LR, you must use a tool third 3rd as Jeffry Friedl (http://regex.info/blog/2007-03-13/395) or a plugin like a LR2/Mogrify (http://timothyarmes.com/lr2mogrify.php).

  • Changing default text when sharing music via Twitter

I was wondering if there is any way I can change the default text, iTunes uses when I share my music via Twitter. The default text is "Listen to [TITLE] of [NAME of ARTIST] on @AppleMusic", and I want to update the text of ' #NowPlaying [TITLE] of [NAME of ARTIST] on @AppleMusic.

For the moment I edit each tweet before I post them from iTunes, but it would be great if there was a way to change the default text.

I realize that if there's something I can change (or add) to my iMac, it only would not update the tweet if I shared it in any of my other devices (iPhone, iPad, MBA).

    Thank you!

To my knowledge, this is not a feature of user editable.

You can leave a comment or a request for feedback to Apple, who knows they could add in a future update.

This problem may be caused by an extension that is not working properly.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

I've been twice now and change the text of Bradley Hand to the Blackboard to Helvetica Neue - which seemed to be the default. Message remains displayed. I don't know what else to do. This is my third book over the years, but the first with this problem. Can someone advise please?

    Thank you Davina

It is not a problem of fonts. It is the problem of the sample text entered by the models.

The error message means that there is a text field in your book which is still on show at the text included by the model, and you will need to replace this text with your text. This textfield might be hidden behind a picture.

If you create a preview of the book, such default text is omitted. Have you compared the preview of what you see in iPhoto? Text that shows in iPhoto, but not in the preview will be such default text.

For example, the section 'Topic of this book' on the flap back in some themes is a default text that should be replaced by your own legend:

  • Windows 7 default text size medium 125%. How can I change?

I have internet search and found most users windows 7 would have found the default text size is smaller 100%, but my average is 125%

the problem now is if I put it to the smallest, some application always takes the value of 125% as it is the "default".

If you go to control panel-> display control-> change the size of text. you will see that the default value is initially smaller: more small - 100% (default value)

    Hello destine,

It seems that one of the options in the colors of your advanced windows has been changed. You may need to experiment a bit to find out exactly who should be changed in order to solve the problem you are having, but experimenting a bit, it seems that maybe that's the Box of Message.

To change the font of the Message box:

    • Right click on the desktop
    • Click personalization
    • Click the window color
    • Click on advanced appearance settings
For element, use the drop-down arrow menu > select Message box

Under police > change the size to 9 > click OK

    Hope this helps

  • How to add a text box gradient to an image

Rather than try to explain it that I would get help... I will attach a photo instead (lower part). How I got above a text box while she slightly superimposed on the background of an image? Thanks in advance.

    screenshot open week.jpg

Put the gradient (I used the first transparency plan) under the text layer.

In order to clarify the procedure:

    1. Add a layer above the image.
    2. Choose the foreground color (I've tasted blue markers in the foreground).
    3. Select the gradient tool.
    4. Look in the foreground to the transparency of the Options bar.
    5. Place the tool gradient at the bottom of the image and move about a third of the way up.
    6. Add the text on top
