• The blur tool.  I can not get the blur tool to work for me.

  Please do not forget that you work directly on the layer on which is the image you want to blur. Where you work on an empty layer, make sure that your auto to check the ' sample all layers ' (mine is unchecked) property in the top bar. Also, as has been suggested previously, check if the blending mode is set to normal.

• VMS with VMware Tools ESXi5 works for host ESX4.1?

  Just upgraded a 4.1 ESX host to ESXi 5 host in a Cluster of 3 armies.

  We observe that VMware tools running obsolete for the virtual machines on the host ESXi5.  We would like to know if we apply the latest VMWare tools on those virtual machines, they run correctly when they are transferred to ESX 4.1 hosts?

• Which tool is best for ETL?

  I want to transfer the RLDB to Essbase data, there are many tools and method, I don't know which tool is best for my case. Now, what I do now is:
  1 create views in Oracle
  2. export to the falt file view
  3. import flat file for Essbase using the script rule import files and MaxL.
  4. the data size: lines of file flat 3 million, time used: 13 hours

  I want to use more powerful ETL tools, such as: Informatica PowerCenter, OBIEE, FDM, EIS,..., I have knowledge base for the tools above, but do not know which tool is best for my case? Please advise?

  If you want to choose a product that will be the test of the future and integrate following Hyperion then I'd look to an Oracle tool like ODI/OWB (these two products will merge with time). If the transformation that you need to achieve is simple then you can not even an ETL tool.
  I see OBIEE as more of a reporting tool and do not really consider it to be in the region of the ETL.

  You can merge with the forms tool / Forms API master (I did for hundreds of forms)

  Open the forms you want to merge with the developer compare and different objects appear. Then you have the options "Copy/property of the object again" (ideal form to your left) or 'Copy old object/property' (form left to your right). For program units, you also have a differences Viewer to display the differences between program units the same in different forms...

  Another possibility would be to convert the two XML forms using frmxlate, merge them and convert them to fmb.

  I'm sitting in front of a Tecra M1 and I wonder if you didn t looked at properly.

  You must download the toshiba console to get HW configuration. And please make sure that you have installed all the drivers/tools available for this machine since it s absolutely necessary that everything is installed.

  When to go to the download site and choosing M1, then choose XP as operating system and then go to the following site (accessible by clicking on "Next" at the bottom of the site). There you should find the "toshiba console" version 3.01.09)

  Download it, install it and be happy. :)

• Tecra M2: Cannot install the Software & Tools from Toshiba for Vista

  Properly installed Vista business on a M2 (updated 1 gig RAM) and it works fine. Took me some time to find suitable, Nvidia GO FX5200 driver but everything is good. Unfortunately I'm unable to install one of the tools/software-Eg Toshiba Toshiba Control Panel, free config etc etc.

  There is no compatible software VISTA for M2 provided by Toshiba that I see and while I read a thread indicating a M2 user has successfully installed the tools Toshiba M4, I get an error telling me that I am their installation on the wrong model. Someone knows a way around cela or have any ideas that could help me. Thank you

  back in June 2010, I received an update to run the preparation tool update for Vista system. I ran that tool, but may not have let finish because it took almost an hour with no end... not sure if the tool ran and completed its function. Now, I've read that the process of this tool work can take well over an hour

  I installed Norton Internet Security 2010 last week. I noticed that Norton detected a kind of error with ccSvcHst.exe function program and the error code was

  which seems to indiacte something wrong with my Vista operating system

  I went and made a check of updates from microsoft, but the tool is not yet available

  Norton forums suggested that the tool must be run again. I noticed there is a more recent version of the tool (seven 29, 2010) than what I ran in June 2010
