Total extent of images?

Is it possible to calculate and measure the total length of all the images in a project? I have several hours of footage; hundreds of clips. I need to know the total number of hours. There are two solutions of workaround I know: export to Final Cut Pro and Media Manager allows you to easily measure the total duration or calculate the time using a compression and file size calculator. None of them are ideal.

In the project Panel, select all the clips you want. In the Info Panel, you will see the total duration.

  • Why is the number of images in LR 5.3 not equal to the total number of images.

    Down at the bottom with tray slide in Lightroom, it lists the total number of images displayed, followed by the total number of images that is then followed buy the number of selected images. Once in one of my catalogs, it displays "all photographs 3872 of 3883 1 selected.  I have no filters on.  In the catalogue on the left side box, "All photographs" I selected.  So, why it only shows me 3883 3872?  How will I know what the 11 photographs are that it does not appear?

    I saw a previous post where someone was weird numbers in order to synchronize the folder and they used "Export as Catalog" and he cleaned the wobbly catalog.  Considering that you have only a few thousand files, it should go quickly if cut you everything in the export.  You can then load the new catalog and see if he deleted things upward.

  • How to determine the total number of images in the external .swf file loaded

    I have to be able to load both external .swf files and make them play in order. To do this, I need to know the number of images in the first .swf file so I can check _currentframe against _totalframes to determine when he is finished playing so that I can load another.

    Most of the stuff I see indicate that _totalframes on an external .swf can be determined by loading the .swf in a container clip and then check using a listener in the .onLoadInit. Like this:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------

    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("tester_mc", 1);
    var mcListener:Object = new Object();

    mcListener.onLoadInit = {function (target_mc:MovieClip)}
    target_mc.onEnterFrame = function() {}
    If (this ._currentframe > = this ._totalframes) {}
    trace ("total frames =" + this ._totalframes);
    delete this.onEnterFrame;
    } else {}
    trace (target_mc._currentframe + "OF" + target_mc._totalframes);
    }
    }
    }

    var test_mc:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    test_mc. AddListener (mcListener);
    test_mc.loadClip ("Ad_Group.swf", tester_mc);

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------

    Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work. The trace will always return a total number of frames of 1.

    I guess it's because the container clip has only 1 frame, and the external .swf timeline seems to be ignored.

    I would appreciate any ideas on how to raise the total number of frames of an external .swf file or, Alternatively, put it another way when it's done playing. (Not only the loading, but play until the end.)

    TIA,

    C

    I guess it's because the container clip has only 1 frame, and the external .swf timeline seems to be ignored.

    I wouldn't imagine. My guess is that the main scenario for the external swf file has only 1 frame and the rest of the animation is inside a movieclip in this timeline. You publish this swf? Can you open the FLA and check how many images is open on the main timeline?

    The approach that you have mentioned is about what there is. But he knows check a chronology. If there are many nested movieclips, it may be impossible to understand what timeline you really want to be 'THE' full chronology.

    If you have the FLA, you can have the video call function on the _root timeline which tells the main swf that has completed a movieclip or something like that.

    Also, I have in my head somewhere that I recently saw something that someone made similar to this one, but do not remember... If it appears in my head that I will post.

  • Determine the Total number of images in a loaded SWF file

    I used the loader class and the load method to load a swf file that has multiple frames.  Does anyone have a suggestion how to determine the total number of frames in the SWF file script after loading?

    AFTER loading is complete (that is to say, use a listener), you can access the content property of the loader (cast as a movielcip):

    MovieClip (yourloader.content) .totalFrames;

  • Class not found exception after adding a new image in the folder resources.

    The app works perfectly well on the Simulator and the device. After adding a new set of images, he began to show in every race, on the Simulator and the device, a class not found exception.

    When you try to delete some images to find the cause, I get different classes not found when executing. Compilation and packaging the application generate warning or error. They even get signed. Some of the classes are not exception I get:

    Java.lang.StringBuilder

    NET. RIM. Device.API.UI.UIApplication

    I'm guessing this has something to do with the size of the total image, since the size of each range image from 100 KB to 300 KB, and we talk about only 25 or 30 images in total. Adding image outside of the 'res' folder does not generate the error, but the image is not added to the final files.

    In addition, this application is not large, but when compiling and packaging of the app, it generates and signs 125 cod files. Is this normal?

  • Where are hiding my images?

    Hello

    The image will appear in:

    http://www.simplyhelping.com.au/imag...ePeninsula.gif .

    with "BaysidePeninsula.gif" in this case.

    I don't know if we need to be able to open the folder "Images". I tried, but not go!

    Some servers, if they are Linux, will not recognize a folder of images if spelled with a lowercase 'i'.

    There are a total of 13 images of card for this website, two of them in " " NSW " and " wa "work perfectly. The other 11 are all included in one page: www.simplyhelping.com.au/offices.html.

    I thought of having too many subfolders, but then why is - what the other 2 images work?

    Each image is supposed to appear in the collapsible panels and it is here that not one thing appears direct, although they work when "Preview in browser" in DW5.5.

    It drives me completely crazy. Y at - it anyone out there?

  • AE - effects on images is not carrying more first...

    Hello

    What's happening (or lack of) is that I imported a few sequences on AE 2015, using the pen tool and the edge effect, I create a border for the text. In addition, the text is in another layer. After that I saved, rendered and exported, I import them to first 15 - I also tried drag the file "comp 1' first.

    Once I get the file on the first poster text only - black screen with the text appears. Totally ignoring my images and stroke...

  • When the image resizing pixel

    When I try to resize an image, I can't choose the unit "pixel" in the measures. How can I set the size in pixel?

    Found the answer myself: I need to check 'Bild neu total' ('calculate new image'?), then the input to the pixel size fields are enabled.

  • Sync folder - shows new images, but they are not

    Lately I have had a few records that I could make a virtual copy or add metadata - when I right click to synchronize the folder, the shortcut menu shows that it is 30 new photos to import. When I click the sync button, the screen goes through the import phase and then a dialog box comes up saying no. Photos or videos found.

    No harm seems to come from this, but it is kind of annoying, and I still wonder and worry that I might be screwing something up?

    Any advice appreciated

    Tom

    I checked and in a first time was surprised by the differences... but on further examination, it seems that they are the same except that finder has all the files, .xmp... then Yes, they are the same numbers in all cases, I checked.

    The text at the top left States the number of images in LR film now showing in a given folder (or collection) vs. the total number. It's maybe less, due to the stacking, or due to a display filter.

    OTOH, the total number of images LR can be easily larger than the number of presents, if some of these images in LR are virtual copies of image files.

    In addition to XMP sidecar files number of files Finder can also reflect sidecar JPG files, if you shot Raw + JPG. Unless you chose to see these independently within LR, they won't have the count of LR. Also other programs use their own, named differently, metadata sidecar files. County of LR may of course include images in subfolders, or not.

    The actual file content matching, with what we see within LR, so is quite problematic and indirect. Is IMO better to think the concept of file in LR, as a report database that was executed. No, 'what is in this folder"- but that, ' what are the pictures of this catalogue currently claim to be associated with this folder." This is how LR can always keep such a number, even though the record and the affected files are offline / missing.

  • How can I synchronize catalogs on 2 computers that use the same location for the image files?

    I do not understand Lightroom.

    For example, I use LR4.2 on a desktop computer and a laptop computer. Two computers (Windows 7 64-bit) go to the same image files. On my laptop in a folder, I have 42 master images and 5 virtual (virtual events) for a total of 47 images. But when I open LR4.2 on the desktop I do not see the 5 virtual (virtual events) on the 42 master images.

    Why can not I see the 5 virtual events since I can access the exact file and how I see the virtual evidence created on the laptop on the desk.

    It has no function in LR to synchronize catalogs.

    If your pictures are on an external hard drive, you can move the file catalog to this external hard drive, and then you will have a catalogue on your desk and another on the laptop. Just use the one on your external hard drive.

    If your pictures are on a network drive, you can not put the file catalog here, so the only answer I know is to manually transfer the catalog back from one computer to the other file.

    Why can I not see the 5 virtual events since I can access the correct folder

    Lightroom does not save your work to the photo files. It stores your work in the Lightroom catalog file.

  • Slow performance when many small images displaying

    Hey!

    I'm working on a Flex Mobile game. It uses a grid of 2D game and I try to display tiles in the cells. There are 3 different images are used: one for the walls, a floor and one for the character.

    I view these images in the following way:

    I have a band with an id (displayGroup), I then create an array of new Image() with the position that they should be placed in and the image that they should use.

    Then I bang on the table and add the images individually as an element in the group.

    In the code, it looks like this:

    var temparray:Array = disp.drawMapGfx(map, hero)
    for each (var img:Image in temparray)
    {
        displayGroup.addElement(img);
    }

    Now the problem appears when I move.

    What I'm doing now is the following:

    var numImages:int = displayGroup.numElements-1;

    var temparray:Array = disp.drawMapGfx(map, hero)
    for each (var img:Image in temparray)
    {
        displayGroup.addElement(img);
    }

    for(var i:int = numImages; i >= 1; i--)
    {
        displayGroup.removeElementAt(i);
    }

    I first enter the total number of images in the group. Then I add the updated images that take the new position into account, and then I delete all obsolete images of the group. I'm going to 1 instead of 0, because the element 1 is a rect that creates the background color.

    For the test, I was using "run as iPhone 3 GS. Each image is 50 x 30, which, in view of the user interface is equivalent to 11 x 17 images + 1 for the character. Therefore the display up to a maximum of 188 images.

    The problem is images sparkle as the old pictures disappear and new images appear. What can I do to have it redraw the screen more quickly, in order to avoid flickering?

    It would be logical, rather than redraw every image, simply move the entire scene and just load / remove images if necessary, rather than reload images?

    And a small second question: is it possible to share a mobile app in a single AIR file, so that I can be ready for office friends who don't have smartphones help test it on their computer?

    What is the world altogether?

    Theoretically, you can load all over the world to start and use a mask to show only the relevant part of the world. With each movement of the character, move the mask to the next section.

  • Missing (?) Update the images in LR 2.6

    I was previously using LR 1.3 (Mac) and finally decided to move to LR 2.6.

    Under library in LR 1.3 the total number of images listed for "All photographs" is 20,000 +.

    However, under catalogue LR 2.6.1 the total number of images listed for "All photographs" is now 16 000 +.  ???

    I have opened only LR 2.6.1 and have not imported anything or modified program still somehow.  All my pictures are on internal HD, I have a couple of backups on separate hard drives for all my images, but none of the 20,000 images to LR 1.3 are scattered in different places.

    If it makes a difference, I can download and try out a beta version of LR 2.0 earlier, but not a not buy or upgrade the Evaluation Version.

    Any help or advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated.  I will continue to work in version 1.3, up until this disparity is resolved. Thank you.

    Looks like your catalog was converted to the format of LR 2 when you tried the beta version 2.0, and the catalog he created is one that opens 2.6. Given that it was a little backwards, your library was probably less pictures in.

    In your new LR 2.6.1 use the file menu to open your catalog LR 1.3. LR it will convert and open it. I would not be surprised if your images were there.

  • help with image carousel

    I had this script for a controlled xml image carousel. It works really well, I just need to tweak it a bit so he could work as I want.

    I want to place the carousel in a certain area of the film. Is the only setting I see control where ' var floor: Number = 20; "but this only controls the vertical position. I need to check the horizontal position, now that he's just focused. See "xpos3D", I don't know what to do.

    I also want to keep to appear outside the frames I want it to appear. Now when I put the script in the film he appears in each image. How do I get it appear in some images of the film?  When I put "stop();" at the end of the keyframe it still shows in the frames after him.

    The last thing I need is to position the animation above the other layers.  At the moment, it appears below all other layers in the film.

    I don't know what parts to change this then of course I don't know what parts of post, it is why I write all this (hope I post code correctly, my first post).

    When you load dynamically the content in a bar planning, this content is not a frame to call home in the chronology of the tht unless load you it into an object that is bound to an image.  Then you can try to wrap this code in a movieclip who lives in a specific image.  You may need to adjust the code for this scenario well.  If it works, you can control the location of the carousel by changing the location of the movieclip.

  • images does not an xml file

    Hello

    I have a Web page created in flash that uses xml to load specific galleries in video clips. Everything works fine in the preview, but when he downloaded does not work. When you click the movie or one of the other galleries, the kitchen does not load. I don't know if this has something to do with the home or not. I only started using xml, so my knowledge is very limited. Any help would be appreciated.  The address of the Web site is below. I have also attached my action script. See you soon

  • Script request - Restitching image tiles

    I posted this in the Photoshop Mac forum and it has been suggested that I post here for more help.

    I went a piece of printing wide-ish (7500x5000pixel HDR) in my 3D, Cinema 4 d application. It has a feature called Mosaic camera that chops from the scene in a certain number of tiles and sends them to a network delivered. It is considerably faster than a machine to do the entire frame.

    The problem is that I need to manually consolidate all the tiles of the picture in Photoshop once its done. Yes, it's a little awkward. The camera of tile is not any overlap between adjacent tiles, Photomerge has not all pixels of a line up.

    According to the draft, there are 9 tiles, or there could be 1000. The number of lines and columns always = √ 'total number of images. All tiles have the same size. The length of the final image would be ("total number of images" √ * "a tile X width in pixels").  Similarly, the height would be (√ "total number of images" * "one tile Y height in pixels"). Tile camera renders the first and then down, so it seems that it would be 'easy' to automate the process.

    It would be cool if the script would automatically recognize the number of images and calculate the final canvas size by using the above calculation.  But even if the user must manually enter these variables, that would still save you hours of hand assembly work.

    If someone is feeling particularly generous and bold, I have attached a JPEG case made out by the camera of tile.

    Here's how it should look after mounting:

    I'd appreciate it really any time someone could devote to this.

    I just tried with Photoshop CS3 and Tiger and any guests/errors.

    I wonder if you tried to reset your preferences?

    If this does not work, you could try adding this line at the top of the script...

    app.displayDialogs = DialogModes.NO;
