• How to disable the save option for shared reports in OBIEE?

  Hello

  We have a set of ad hoc reports in the shared folder of OBIEE that will be accessed by approximately 50 users. Each user can modify reports by adding or removing columns and keep them according to their requirement. That's why users should not save reports in the shared folder. Instead, they should be able to modify reports and do a save as to save the reports in my folder. Kindly help us in disabling option for shared reports.

  For these users try to read only on shared folders, so that indirectly save them is disabled on Shared as well as have to use Save as.

  need help to solve a problem with the dynamic selection of images for reports OBIEE 11 g.
  For OBIEE 10 g, it works perfectly - put images in
  
  *'\ < HOME_ORACLE_BI > \web\app\res\s_oracle10\images'*
  
  Directory and enter edit the column formula (in the answers) of the expression:

  Dive into the issue, I checked the staticports.ini and in the * [WEBLOGIC] * section find the following message is displayed:

  Oracle WLS BIEE managed Server Port No. = 9704
  
  that seems to be OK...
  
  The netstat command response confuses me much since I found (and also of external) record for TCP Local address (should be < IP localhost >: 9704), which lead me to the point that, probably one of the OBIEE 11 g services not started OR I made a mistake during installation of OBIEE 11 g, although the system did not send a message about this possibility. BTW, the BI Publisher on this machine works correctly.
  
  So, kindly ask support or advice on this subject. Thank you

  Not able to open the IAM blog you referred to above.

  Make sure that you have deployed the analyticsRes component as shown in http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi1113/customizing_obiee11g/customizing_obiee11g.htm. Create a folder called produced under analyticsres and start accessing images.

• OBIEE report showing blank for some fields

  Hello

  I have a problem with OBIEE report only when generating the report in CSV.
  Some fields are displayed empty in CSV, appear correctly in other formats. I doubt that this is because the length of the text field is longer.

• OBIEE reporting requiremnt:Display image based on the value of result report

  I have an OBIEE reporting requirement, the report displays the result out of 10 based on a value selected in the command prompt dimension, what I want is if the score is less than 5, the image of warning should appear right in the report score with a sufficient distance and if the score is greater than 5, I want a right image tick.

  It will be a great help if someone will give me the solution as soon as possible, because I have a very urgent need.

  It took 3 clicks to hide the structure of the table...

  For the "how to return an image of the formula in the column" it's just the data format of the column that should be set to the URL of the Image and your column value must be the URL of the image. If you add a formula as CASE WHEN your_condition THEN 'http://.../picture1.jpg' WHEN your_condition_2 THEN 'http://.../picture2.jpg' END

  I am planning the OBIEE reports to mail through the SMTP server, but this is show planning is competing with compensation and out there is in the average mail meail goes the recipeents.

• color of the column for multiple reports

  I created a page with several classic reports. Each report has a pass called "Total". I would just pass Total in all the reports of colors.

  I added the html header

  I have different static IDs for all reports. for this I must repeat as below

  Is there another way to achieve this goal of 20 reports at the same time?

  Can you have different guests on the same page of dashboard for different reports on the same columns. For example, my dashboard page has 2 reports and I need

  Invites different on each report. Each report is based on 2 diff, SA1 and SA2 themes.

  I build separate guests on generic columns like name and period of the invoice to the customer which are present in the two areas.

  Both areas contain few shirts of presentation with the same name, i.e. the customer, contract, invoice, etc. If I take columns with the same names,

  for example, 'customer name' or 'contract ID' of these records, I observed that the guests are applied to the two reports.

  It remains the same even if I create separate presentation variables in reports. OBIEE allows this feature to have

  different guests on columns with same name.

  This can be achieved using the Variable guests most frequently used guests from the column. There I created a variable and used presentation even in the filters in the analysis.

  The requirement is corresponding Hyperion Planning entered in forms on OBIEE reports comments. I was able to retrieve details about the author, content of the note as well as the corresponding dimensions in considering the following tables:
  1.HSP_CELL_NOTE
  2.HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM
  3.HSP_OBJECT
  4.HSP_USER
  
  But I'm confused about the later approach that I take. How the Federation would be made with the Essbase cube in the OBIEE repository? How comments should be referenced to specific OBIEE reports corresponding to the Hyperion Planning Forms?
  
  I use Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 and OBIEE 11.1.1.6.

  The problem has been resolved. For example. For comments, a notice must be created in the relational database where the records retrieved from the HSP_CELL_NOTE and HSP_CELL_NOTE_ITEM HSP_OBJECT, the Member of dimension alias names must be recovered form HSP_ALIAS or HSP_MEMBER in the view. Then using the lookup function in OBIEE, we can extract the value (comment) the relational database view looking upward with the names of members alias Essbase in the MDB layer. Thanks to Charles Philippe for orientation. Hope it helps others.

  That the SMTP server configured by your admin and create a privilege given to your role agent. Then schedule an Agents to yourself / Testuser with the report to be sent to external users as its content. Configure the profile of delivery to the recipient. In the implementation for electronic device - profile of delivery specify the external e-mail address. This might be useful

  To get a ToolTip for the column of a table edge or analytical data, follow the steps below:

  For text variables, follow these steps:

  (a) the criteria, right-click on the required text column and select column properties

  (b) once you see "The column properties" window click on the tab "Data Format".

  (c) check mark "Substitute default data Format" and set:

  Treat the text as a custom text Format =
  Custom text format = [html]

  @
  (Where @ is the sign of text)

  For numeric values, follow the steps below:

  (a) the criteria, right-click on the required text column and select column properties

  (b) once you see "The column properties" window click on the tab "Data Format".

  (c) check mark "Substitute default data Format" and the value

  Treat numbers as custom =

  Can someone explain to me in detail about how to get the images flash as a graphic that is used in obiee through the browser reports 'Google Chrome'.
  By default if I add an xml tag in the Instance configuration file to see the image in PNG format, then I'm able to see it. But I'm unable to use some of the features like mouse roll on options to display my percentage values.
  Then experts, that I need a solution discovered the OBIEE dashboards with flash options supported. Kindly guide me.

  It is not a good answer for you, but Google Chrome is not a browser supported by OBIEE.

  Browsers supported for OBIEE 11 g are described below:

  11 GR 1 material (11.1.1.3 +)
  Internet Explorer 7.x
  Internet Explorer 8.x
  Firefox 3.5 +.

  11 GR 1 material (+ 11.1.1.5)
  Safari 4.x
  Safari 5.x

  So I don't know if you could see what you want with the Google Chrome browser
