• Track usage OBIEE stops?

  We currently use OBIEE 11.1.1.6.5 at work, and we have made all necessary settings for the follow-up of the use of the service.

  You use the old method of enabling usage tracking. It is now processed in MS, so whenever you restart the services of EM, the EM settings are reused.   I need to select complete queries that were run through the dashboard.
  
  The table that stores this as a limit of 1024 on the number of characters stored (table, column query_text s_nq_acct), so I lose the end of queries.
  
  Anyway is to extend this column and the number of characters stored?
  
  I know that I can extend the table easily with DDL, but where I have to change tracking on the end OBIEE, so it truncates to an upper limit of use?

• Best method to track usage of the file by the user?

  I currently need to look at a method for monitoring of the activities of the file in my organization and I need a little help to get started on the right track. I had some references point me to app Xcode Instrument via the business model of the file, but I currently have issues seeing any activity from users of the real network. to start, I simply set the target to "All processes" with the hope that it would bring together all activities and newspaper, in which he did for everything except users on the network. On mine, I also found some people who use scripts to dtrace or opensnoop, but I was hoping someone could point to what they think, it's the "best" method to track when a file/folder is accessed and/or modified.

  Also, as a note, we are in a mixed environment and so we only via SMB as our file sharing protocol in the case where it makes a difference. I know that in newspapers of the server application, it does clearly as AFP titles widely as I can only find small amounts of data for SMB in the newspapers (disconnects / reconnects, permissions, etc.). If I need to flesh out the details as well, this isn't a problem, and thank you to you all in advance.

  As with everything, there are a number of ways to accomplish.  Manager of the 'better' is one that works in your environment and that you feel comfortable.

  You can watch the common criteria framework that is built into OS X.  Try checking the man and man audit_control to get an idea of what is possible.  If you enable the service, you will record only login, logout, and authentication.  However, adding to the indicators you can save the file reads, writes, creates and deletes (most other things).  Are you trying to follow everything on local machines or just the server?

  Now, if you do this, you'll generate a lot of logging data.  The most logical way to handle this is to aggregate the log data into a centralized syslog server.  But it of more infrastructure and will pose challenges if you breadwinner and because portable computers that let the environment.

  Given that RPD work is completed, you will now need to just merge the catalogs, and John explained clearly in the link that you are referring to:

  (1) excerpt from the catalogue.
  (2) open the catalog offline.
  (3) to open another instance of the Catalog Manager where you open your current catalog online.
  (4) copy - paste the content.

  Once the merger was held, I can see the folder of the master RPD to track usage. However some files of the master RPD to mappings errors

  Applications of BUSINESS MODEL:
  Logic column [38028] deposit (Year Ago) (£) do not have a valid data type.
  [nQSError: 23013] An error occurred during extraction of the definition of metadata for the filing of the attribute (Year Ago) (£)
  [nQSError: 22038] Function AGO requires at least one attribute of measure in its first argument.
  
  
  There are a lot of mistakes like that after the merger, can someone help me with the cause. The merger took place in offline mode

  Looks like logical source is missing.
  Would like to make unauthorized processes, I do most of the time with my risk ;)

  Open master Dr. and usagetrack SPR
  (1) on the current main RPD (after the merger) remove MDB to use track and also catalog (remove only the tables of presentation)
  (2) copy use MDB to use track RPD model
  (3) Paste Master SPR mdb layer
  (4) copy presentation of the catalogue to use SPR shirts and paste in the PS in master SPR layer

  It should work.

• Use of tracking / new user growth?

  I am looking for a type of measure to show new growth of the user of a system to track usage. In this catalogue, there is a field, Date of creation, which shows where each user has been created in the system. Is there a way to export this field?
  
  I want to show, 10 total users in December 10, 20 total users in January 11, 100 total number of users in June 11, etc.
  
  Ideally, I show that the field and graph matching in OBIEE to show how many new people are added to our system. At the very least, I hope to take the data and create a chart in Excel.

  Once you have this information you can make growth etc as you required. in above (tillDec-tillNov) will give new users added in December.

• Is it possible to close the titles so they load in RAM until I tell them?

  When Show Advanced Tools is selected in the Advanced preferences pane, you can freeze one track, reducing the computing power required to read the title. A reduced freezing track usage of the CPU than a track high-resolution audio without effects plug-ins, regardless of the number or complexity of plug-ins actually used on the track. Freezing is especially useful for software instrument tracks and audio tracks that use complex effects. Freezing is not available for software instruments several outputs.

  When you freeze a track, the track is rounded to an audio file. The gel file includes the output of any plug-ins on the track and any automation track. While the track is frozen, the gel file reads instead of the original track, which is temporarily disabled (including plug-ins). The channel strip controls (for example track mute and solo) are available, but no content track cannot be changed (including mute of the region and solo, for example).

  Even if a track is frozen, it cannot be changed. If you want to change the track, you can free an it, make the changes and then freeze again the track.

  Gel is designed to work around very CPU process, as software instruments with an architecture complex voice and complex plug-ins (such as reverb, filters or effects by FFT). If your computer allows to calculate all the active processes in real time, the titles of freezing is not necessary. Freeze tracks is recommended when the securities with processor software instrument or effects plug-ins are in a final State, or require no subsequent change.

  In freezing the slopes, you can:

  • Use plug-ins or additional software or audio effects software instruments instrument of additional tracks, which would be normally impossible it would exceed the limits of the CPU of your computer processing.
  • Read the projects created on computers with more CPU power.

  Freezing a track

  1. Click the Freeze button in the header of the track. The lock will turn blue to indicate that the track is ready to freeze.

     • Source only: Freeze the track without any signal effect plug-ins. When selected, the Freeze button becomes solid. Note: This Freeze mode is useful when you use software instruments much the processor or flex modes.
     • Pre Fader: Freezes the signal of the track including all effects plug-ins. When selected, the Freeze button shows a point.
  3. Click on the Play button in the control bar.
  4. To unlock the track, click the Freeze button again.

  To change the State of freezing of several tracks, click and hold the Freeze of a track button, then drag the pointer upwards or downwards. The buttons of the freezing of all tracks are critics put you in the same condition.

  If you try to make changes to a frozen track, a dialog box tells you that the track is frozen.

• IOS 9.3.1 battery drain

  Shortly after the update to IOS 9.3.1 I went from having to recharge my phone once every 2 days to 5 times in 2 days...

  Now, I complete recharge my phone before going to bed and when I wake up fresh sound around 35% and that is with no use and locked the screen.

  By lunch time its totally flat. I load it again and 20:00 its totally flat again with minimal use (no game). Then I have to keep on fees until the sunset again. If I need to use my phone I have to paste in another term of load cos I can see the battery % turns down as a clocks second hand.
  I never had this problem on one of my iPhones before and this one is only a few months. This problem occurred after installing IOS 9.3.1

• Hanging Time Capsule with cable will use less data?

  I have an airport Time Capsule 2 TB I use as a wireless router with my internet go beyond satellite service. I blow through my allocation of wireless data and I was wondering if it hang on my Time capsule to my Mac using a dsl cable would use less data?

  First the cable would be ethernet.

  Second, I assume that you are concerned about your Time Machine backup... but they are local network and that you do not use your allowance of the internet... so plug the TC by ethernet will not change the use of the internet... It is only if you have something that is initially high downloads... This can happen sometimes... but apple built in no mechanism to track usage... Indeed, they have removed completely since the last TC SNMP functionality and AE... in the view of many here... an indication that Apple believes that everyone has speed unlimited and unlimited broadband internet bandwidth and did not much care if you don't.

  I used Trackwary to track usage of the phone of my children. Amazing œuvres for my needs. Capture google chat, bbm, and gps location even if the phone doesn't have a gps it will get tour information to determine the location and their positions are also visualize on a map.

  I have tried others but had problems with backward compatibility with different phones. Trackwary works perfectly with both my phones of blackberty for children.

  More importantly, it seems not not using the battery, which most of these applications tend to make an impact.

  Highly recommend it.

  If you explicitly specify the path of the BONE in log_archive_dest_1 and the FORMAT specifier in the RMAN backups, Oracle * only * counts the use of space as in the FRA.  If you need Oracle to track usage of the FRA, log_archive_dest_1 must specify LOCATION = USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST and backup RMAN scripts must NOT specify the FORMAT of the path (leaving Oracle use default db_recovery_file_dest)

  Think about it.  How Oracle could track the use of file system?  He must run a daemon process running "from" several times.  However, if the log_archive_dest and RMAN have entered logical USE_DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST and the Oracle db_recovery_file_dest, Oracle allows to track all the files it creates to this place (it will not be tracked files and folders that the DBA creates manually)
