Transfer photos in Live Mail

When I try to send an e-mail message that includes pictures in the text (i.e. not attachments) I get the meassage that "Cannot find one or more photos - send anyway?"  If I say yes the sometimes photos will be sent and get like a slide show.  At other times only the empty photo frames are sent.

I would like to transfer my emails from windows xp home edition to a usb port so that I can transfer to windows live mail?  Only, which allows to export to microsoft outlook or exchange?  Pls help

    Hi Paulettelukan,

What is the email client do you use? If Microsoft Outlook-> open Outlook-> tools-> Options-> Mail Setup-> Datafile-> you will get the location of your pst file. Close outlook and browse to the location of my computer and copy the PST on USB.

If using Outlook Express-> open Outlook Express-> tools-> Options-> maintenance-> store folder-> copy the path-> open my computer-> paste-> you should see all the dbx files-> close Outlook Express-> copy all the DBX files in your USB key.

    I hope this helps.

  • settings of electronic mail of transfer from xp to windows live mail

    (1) yesterday, I transferred the information on my old computer with xp operating system on my new computer with the windows operating system 7.  I used the easy transfer cable and software.  All files and the e-mail settings transferred to the new computer with the exception of my wife's e-mail account and all of its files in the outlook express account.  I need to know how can I transfer records of Live mail e-mail.  There were two e-mail accounts in outlook express.  My mail transferred and direct files (and folders) synchronized eyerything in storage folders.  Profile of my wife has not transferred, nor has any records.

    (2) in outlook express when I opened my e-mail foler has asked that my login and password and my wife and I had different identities.  When I logged in, only my folders (storage records) have been posted.   Now on live mail all my files storage are still displayed even if my wife is to check his e-mail.  How can I set up direct mail so my wife and I have unique identities and when we opened our e-mail accounts that our individual records are displayed.

If you want a better answer, thank you for posting this question in the Windows Live forum.

Currently using Outlook Express for e-mail. You want to switch to Windows Live Mail after converion.

How to save Outlook emails and transfer on Windows Live Mail after comversion

    Thank you

1 create folders on an external device or partition/drive and name them OEInbox and OESent. Open Outlook Express, go to the Inbox, click a message line then press Ctrl + A to select all and drag the highlighted items in OEInbox, where they become individual .eml files. Repeat for the sent items and all other mail boxes you have.

    2. open Windows Live Mail, view the Inbox and open the OEInbox folder on the registered device, select all (Ctrl + A) the items in the OEInbox folder and drag them into the Inbox of WLM. Repeat this step for the other mailboxes.

  • Photos in some emails do not appear they will be with live mail

Some emails do not download photos and these photos do not come in attachments, they are part of the original email. I checked that the pictures were sent in live mail I want to get away from of. He did not have much. I don't see any difference with the emails that I get lots of emails from this person with pictures as part of the e-mail.

Show all parts of the body (Installation) is an add-on very convenient which is sometimes useful in these situations. If you View/ACE/All body parts body message attachments named as 'Part 1', without extension, save them and add a .jpg file for the name to open in your image viewer.

Transfer of data from Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail:

    For Messages:

Copy the * ENTIRE * OE message store folder to a flash drive. (Folders.dbx must be included). Place it on the desktop or another location on the computer using WLMail. Open WLMail and: file | Import | Messages | Microsoft Outlook Express 6, and the point where it was saved.

    Location of OE message store:

  • Need to transfer e-mail contact from Windows XP to Windows 7 using Outlook Live Mail 2013

Original title: updated my Windows computer 2002 for Windows 7

As a 78, I'm not really upward on computer jargon. So, if there is someone out there willing to help me I would be grateful elementary English wash.

I just bought two computers and a tech install Windows 7 instead of Windows 8, because I was told that I have more than enough bad Windows 7.
In any case, I need to transfer my contacts list of e-mail from your old computer (Windows XP) to my new. I think I'm supposed to locate the *.pst files, which I did and they downloaded onto a flash drive. At this point, I read some internet explanation telling me to look for my user account folder where the folder My Documents OR click on %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto in the address bar. NONE OF THESE AREAS APPEAR FOR ME!
I have Outlook Live Mail which I believe is 2013. I know that XP is long forgotten and I'm desperately hoping that someone will propose solutions to this.
    Help, please!
    Thanks, in advance

    Hey Sanford,

Even if you don't usually see a hidden file, it's one regular file in all other respects. You can choose whether a file is hidden or visible by changing its properties.

To activate the App data folder that remains hidden, check the operations from the link mentioned below on how to display it.

    Show hidden files (Windows 7)

Given that the issue is to transfer contacts from e-mail in Outlook Live Mail 2013. I recommend you to send the query in the link mentioned below for assistance.
