Transfer the Lightroom Catalog to the PREVIOUS version

Is it possible to copy a catalog Lightroom 6 and put it in Lightroom 5.  I used lightroom 6 on the computer of a friend and now need to transfer files (with the change history) on my catalog, but I only have 5 LR.  If so, how? Thank you!

If these files are of the raw files owners (such as nef or cr2), metadata will be written to files (xmp) sidecar, nex to the image files.

You will need to copy these courses as well.
