  Yes. A single license of Lightroom allows you to install the program on two separate computers, Windows or Mac or both, but that a facility can be used at any time.   I would like to get an external hard drive - the best of Seagate and Western Digital for about $100. I have a 320 GB Seagate and it's much more that I need. Can I save more than one computer at a time. It's basically a huge flash drive, and you can buy them both at the Wal-Mart or Target or Office Max, Office Depot, etc...

  This option is also better in the long run too - for data transfer in addition to save your documents in one place safe.

  If you feel this isn't for you, then you can move gradually using a flash drive (available at Wal-Mart, Target,...) or burn your data on CD and move it over that way.

  Please try following steps to recreate a link to the PDF files.

  1. move and place the PDF file all missing in the any folder to the new computer.

  2 open the Control Panel file Muse and hit open assets of Windows > assets

  3. right click on a missing PDF file and choose repeat the link.

  4. Select the correct file to recreate a link and it will connect all the missing files in the folder.

  In order to burning a DVD on my laptop that is older, I'm trying to transfer a working from a library folder and insert it into another on the old computer. I used a USB key. All the data has been transferred, but how do i:

  1) enter a library on the old computer? I DID this, but it will not appear in the Final Cut. I "Showed the content" and it allowed me to put the file in THIS library, but it will not appear in the column "libraries."

  Stay out of the whole library. This is a complex database. If the components have moved the database becomes useless. Pretty much all you need to do inside the library can be done from the inside of the PCF.

  If you cannot move the entire library from one machine to another on an external drive, you can move a project of a new library. That will copy only the clips used in the project. You can take it on the other machine. You can also export a master file and consider on the other machine to make the DVD. It is perhaps the simplest.

  first run

  queue tables = c:\emp.dmp exp scott/tiger = dept

  the source of the database and copy your c:\emp.dmp on your USB.
  then paste the emp.dmp file in a place like d:\ in your college system.
  then, from your college system, run

  IMP scott/tiger leader tables = d: \emp.dmp = dept

  now on your College within the scott schema database you should see the lines and the table dept.
