Transport of lousy controls

This is totally mind boggling. I booted up just hearing that I had used for months on my laptop. I am running Windows Vista 64-bit incidentally. Anyway, I got the game once, and then I noticed that the white line was not moving. I tried to stop hitting, and it would not work until I clicked on the play again button. None of the controls worked.

I thought that this curious of all. I restarted the hearing. Exactly the same thing happened. Basically, once I hit play or record and arrested, none of the transport controls would work. By using the multitrack mode or edit made no difference. Reloading the files made no difference.

Finally, I uninstalled. I removed all traces of the hearing, including a registry clean. When I re-installed it STILL does not work.

What. The. Freak.

Borked? Interesting word to use for it - not met that one before!

In any case, I have to tell you that about the only thing that stops the transport working properly is the interface for your audio device. If it is misconfigured somehow, then the first thing that stops is the transport - even if the device seems to be reported correctly as being present. And the symptoms you describe pretty much fit a driver failure...

So, if it is an external device then recharge at least pilots ASIO for her and set up again in the audio hardware section of the hearing. If it is an internal device the same applies, but you'll probably more fun to find the correct driver, and it will not ASIO, so you must ensure that use you the driver of Windows of hearing, or better yet, ASIO4ALL , which is free and you will give better fault indications.

If you have more difficulties, report back.

Does anyone know if an older Mackie Control universal (MCU) with just not the USB and MIDI connectors work them with first Pro CC? My soundcard, an Edirol / Roland UA-25EX has a MIDI in and Midi out connectors.

    Thank you

    Mark

Agency will work with the old model MCU, when it is connected to a midi interface.  The control Surface support will allow transport, fader and control of pepo, with a few predefined buttons.  It works on the clip and the mixer track (but not at the same time).  There is also an option to assignable function keys.  To enable support Makie, go to preferences of management control, click on the Add button and select Mackie in the context menu of device class (the button assignments are located in this window as well).  Then press the settings button, click Add, and then select your midi input and output devices, and then click ok.  Control surface must then be activated for the Mackie.

  • Portege 3480CT: how to make a USB bootable floppy drive?

I need help to make a USB bootable floppy drive.
My laptop 3480CT has not the traditional floppy drive instead, it uses a USB floppy drive and the bios has an option to boot from USB FDD.

I would like to use a USB key to start (a Lexar Jumpdrive 32 MB 05dch 0080 h and GTX 1 GB 1516 h pid pid 8628 h), instead of the floppy. I want to load the boot XP on floppies, so I run recovery programs using chkdsk.

I tried the usual suspects, the bootloader makebootfat and mkbt20 HP.
I tried the demo version of the commercial product Flashboot.
I photographed a floppy back 5.0 system on the USB key using the I-Setup demo.
All failed including the specific option in the makebootfat images for FDD option and 3 different options of Flashboot.

    I ran
    http://Enos.itcollege.EE/~mkalme/Pahn/tut/tut.html

Using Hexplorer ICY, I was able to confirm that the DOS5.0 on the boot sector pendrive is identical to the diskette.
I could start in Dos5.0 from a floppy disk with drivers USB Panasonic and confirm that my Lexar was a system of 1.44 MB disk and command.com displayed in the directory. The GXT is not recognized by the Panasonic, nor BACK USB drivers to Duse 4.4 4.9. Another worrying indicator, it is my computer XP did not see all of the files on the pendrives, not command.com, or two hidden files (view all the hidden files option).

I learned that Transcend a specific option that creates a bootable 1.44 mb floppy
    image on their USB key.

Here is what I have gathered, corrections and suggestions are welcome.

Interface USB the USB protocol specifications

    bInterfaceSubClass field specifies the Protocol
01 order reduced block (RBC) a flash device
UFI 04 a floppy drive floppy drive
05 FDD SFF-8070i SFF-8070i command blocks however, funding may be in a different subclass for example RBC

bInterfaceProtocol field specifies the transport protocol
00 control/Bulk/Interrupt (CBI) with break of completion for FFD only
01 CBI without interruption of completion for the FDD only
transport in bulk only 50 h, including priming

I don't know if the USB controller must imitate the FDD Protocol.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

You cannot boot from the USB key.
The BIOS of the laptop does not support something like that.
Laptop factory supports and use different BIOS versions. As far as I know on this laptop Toshiba BIOS was installed.

To my knowledge this BIOS does not support booting from the USB key, but only the HDD, ODD, LAN or USB - FDD.
If you want to boot from USB FDD, you can create a bootable FDD floppy.
Windows operating system creates the boot floppy drive when you right click on the connected floppy drive and select format. Then simply choose the option create MS-DOS startup disk start.

  • HP Deskjet F2480: printer does not print

My printer has a paper jam and the paper was pulled out of the front (wrong way). The printer feeds through but does not actually print. Is this fixable or is the garbage bin of the printer? I believe that when the book was pulled he screwed up something wrong, it acts like it is printing but nothing. I disconnected the printer and restarted without success. Help

    Hello @angieterry,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you had a paper jam in the printer all-in-one HP Deskjet F2480 that was removed incorrectly and as your printer prints blank pages of your Windows 7 computer. I would like to help you to solve this problem for you today.

I will first of all, did you try to print a report on the print quality standalone:

    1. make sure that you have plain white, letter size paper loaded in the paper feeder.

    2. press and hold the Power button () and the Cancel button () for 10 seconds. The long self-test report prints.

If all fine print: That the problem you are experiencing is not a hardware problem, as the color and black print for you. On the contrary, it's perhaps now a problem with a driver or configuration on your computer.

If black doesn't print color but not: That paper jam may affect your printing system. Please click here to go through the steps of troubleshooting a print quality.

If a blank page prints: I can you have click here to launch the jam troubleshooting steps. It is important that ensure us that no other documents or debris is in your path of paper and ink block to go on your pages. It is also important to check the transport box that controls your ink cartridges to move left right inside your printer. If the transport is defective, ink will not print.

Please let me know if the steps I have provided resolve your problem of blank impressions. Should you still be printing problems don't forget to answer with the result of the attestation of print quality and whether or not you had any ink print. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

  • No reading in source, program, or sceneline

    Hi all

A project that we worked on a few weeks gives suddenly isn't over any reading at all. I can rub through the images in all the panels, I can even hover scrub in bins, but when I hit play, nothing happens in any Panel. The transport program monitor controls change a stop button, but no read occurs (video or audio)

It happens on all 3 machines, that I tried and the problem causing any future projects also hang up.

The main engine is a trash MacPro:

    3.5GHz 6-core Intel Xeon E5

    AMD over-pants D700 6144 MB

    16 GB of Ram

    OS X Mavericks 10.9.5

    First Pro CC 2015.0.2

Images is a mixture of Red Epic, Red Dragon, 5 D GoPro and Amira and cut into a sequence of 1080 p.

So far I have tried all the fixes I could find on this forum, including:

    • The GPU acceleration disabling
    • Delete the cache files and made
    • Import to a new sequence
    • Importing a new project
    • Change the audio options (only Macbook Pro, I tried of allows me to do this but still no dice) (even if I get the default as entry "Premiere Pro 8.0 (does not work) on the MacPros...")
    • If I import a film back to the project while the new images will not play back either.
    • First update (on another system)
    • Export xml of my sequence and in implementing a new project - still do not work. (an edl only if)

Any help is welcome at this stage, before I have to try to rebuild.

    Thank you all,

    Matt

    FIXED-

Adobe connected and tinkered with audio hardware support, but eventually it turned to be to do with the sync between audio and video. Sending to the hearing and back once, has done the trick.

  • Give the hearing CS6 look and work like Cool Edit Pro 2 or AA3

Is there a way to make AA CS6 look and work like Cool Edit Pro 2 or AA3?

I use it to play live performance tracks. I'm eager to make the biggest play, pause, stop, etc buttons in the tab transport section.

Unfortunately, hearing, as a Publisher, is rather less wonderful when it comes to being a direct file player. Always has been.

Screen 'player' of hearing acts only as a file for the beaches of landmark drive, files not together. The solution for him to play the whole of a file is unfortunately a bit heavy; Open all the files you want to play using "Open Add" and make a range of landmark around each of them (Ctrl-A and then F8). Then, you can import all of these mark lines in the drive and rearrange them in the order you want them to play. But then you're a little drunk, as the normal transport controls do not control the file player... and he does not stop at the end of each placemark!

When I had to do in the past, my solution was simply to open all the files in reverse order, as you want them to play in, open the file as if you were going to edit and press play. Then go to the next in the list. Yes, having to transport non-rescalable controls is a little pain, but it doesn't matter, you can use the SPACEBAR rather effectively, or do like me and use a Red Rover. Two or three things to mention; Make sure that you have parked the ICT at the beginning of each file before opening the following (it can be a little annoying if you forget this, because he remembers hearing for each separate file and your file might start playing sort). The other thing is good news, and is that when he does, at least the file stop playing at the end - as long as you have not activated the playback loop, it's...

  • When you use Roland FC300 footswitch to control the transport, all the USB keyboard midi notes do not reach the logic. No help available on this?

When you use Roland FC300 footswitch to control transport LOGIC, all midi keyboard USB (UMA25s) notes do not reach the logic.

They are visible using MIDI Monitor s/w so reach the OS X - but do not make SENSE.

I tried the function of the environment of the logic and the double check OS X Midi Setup but no difference statistically.

I would appreciate any help on how to proceed.

    Thank you

    Paddy

I do not understand your post. Your use the FC300 to control logic - how is it connected?   Is it plugged into the keyboard via middle or did you connect to logic directly via a midi interface?  (sense are the keyboard and the FC300 connected independently.

When you say midi notes reached illogical (those transmitted by the FC300 or those via the USB keyboard do you mean?).

First thing to do is to circumvent the control surfaces to exclude...

Then, the control screen the custom value and see if data midi reached logical... If his hitting the midi monitor 99.9% sure it is hitting logic.

I try CC. My usual version is CS5.5.  Am I missing something, or have the scroll wheel and completely missing the transport controls slider?

Yes they have - I remember finding this odd at first, but I have not missed them in particular. Arrow keys and J-K-l do the work for me

  • Playback controls (transport) does not

Posted this a few months ago but no real answer so try again.

Since 7.1, has monitored most of the buttons in the program and the Source is no longer work for me. This includes the game, in, on, take screenshot, etc. Of course, there are shortcuts for everything but sometimes it's nice to be able to simply click a button, especially if the mouse is already close and free hand isn't in position on the keyboard.

A couple of the buttons still work if, as lines and closed captioning. Who does not will be highlighted when spilled, but have no response when you click it. Hoping that someone somewhere has encountered this and has a solution, very irritating.

I'm on OSX 10.9.2, first CC 7.2.2. Also running the CC on my PC at home and he has never had a problem.

    Hi all

I had the same problem. Transport controls in the transport bar control does not. I had, in the past, difficulty reading in Premiere Pro the video card hardware conflict, but that seems not to be. Reading was fine with keyboard shortcuts, and change the audio didn't solve it (as he did in the past for the reading bug). This bug here that's happened since the update of the first or the Mavericks, do not know exactly.

But what solved it for me, was simply reset the Transport bar (I had reconfigured it with only a few buttons). Then, it was in response and work as expected again. Hope that helps.

    See you soon,.

  • Transport control

Another that using orders in advance quick and fast backward, is there a way to control the playback so that I could start playing a song where I'm the same way which is possible in iTunes on a computer or an iPhone?

  • Download Open Transport for 10.11.6 BONES

Excuse me I am new to HD recording.

I want to follow my synth Roland RS-9 on my MBP.

I hung my SR-9 on an Interface Focusrite Saffire 6 USB audio with two midi cables.

The Saffire 6 is connected to my MBP with a USB cable.

I am currently not able to monitor the Roland through my Mac.

I have Logic Pro X, Soundtrack Pro and Ableton Live Lite 8 installed on my Mac.

I need to download Open Transport to make a difference here?

When you say monitor, do you mean watch the audio output of the RS-9, or use it as a midi controller? If you want to record the audio output of the synth, you must connect the cable from the audio out on the Sapphire, set up an audio input in Logoc track and make sure that input control is enabled. From your description, it seems you have the synth configured as a controller keyb rather than as a tool.

I'm more than a guitarist, but that's how you get an acoustic guitar in logic as an audio signal.

    hope that helps!

Is it possible to reduce the amount of clutter on my block diagram when needing to enable and disable controls so that the tests are running? I bet I'm really missing the point here and I'd love more explanation.

My main problem is not being able to place real dangerous in a Clustor.

You think about transportation, when I talk about the horse. Your façade elements can be in a cluster, and then you can use the reference to the pole to disable all. See:

You will get a façade looking slightly different between the two options if you use disabled and Grayed out because when you grey on the whole cluster, the gray edges. When you gray unique items in the cluster, the cluster edges remain normal.

  • 5520 all in the transport of a printer jam

I unplugged, turned off moved round-trip transportation, and again, it will not be printed. Before it stopped working it's some unpleasant noise like a machine gun. I guess that is not a good thing? Please help or is this another throw away?

    Welcome to the forums cp64

I saw your post on your Photosmart 5520 is more printing and already make loud noises. There could be some paper stuck in the printer itself. I would say by following the guide below. Make sure that pay you special attention to cleaning the rollers as well. Sometimes a good cleaning can solve the problem!

A "Paper jam" Message appears on the control panel

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.
