  Hi guys, I have changed just a joomla site for a site in PHP using Dreamweaver CC, but now everything suddenly these strange icons question mark that appear anywhere in the pages (a problem I have never with Adobe before and had only once before, when I launched a joomla site).  My server support said it was a problem of charset, so I tried to change the < meta charset = "utf-8" > at < meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = text/html"; Charset = UTF - 8 "> hoping that would do the trick (I obviously don't know much about this problem) - but no luck.  Any thoughts would be much appreciated.  My site with the weird icons is to http://www.gymnasticshypnosis.com

  I get this crazy all the time. One way that I try to overcome what has worked in the past is by adding a line of code to the database file 'connection '. (see bold below)

  If you are using the old mysql extension:

  $con = mysql_connect("localhost","username","password");  
mysql_set_charset('utf8',$con);

  If you are using the most recent mysqli extension:

  $con = mysqli_connect("localhost","my_user","my_password","my_db");

  mysqli_set_charset ($con, "UTF8");

  Try one of the above and see if that makes a difference. Like you, I found just to add that the correct meta to the page character set does not always.

  So I try to learn how to use the Spry Framework for Ajax; that I downloaded from http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/

• Weird icon of blackBerry Smartphones

  I have a weird icon that appears when I make a phone call.  It appears in the upper right corner next to the volume.  It's a box of rectanular with stars ranging from diagnoly through it black at the top and blue at the bottom.  It does not appear if I use my bluetooth. I get on both incoming and outgoing calls.  What is this weird thing?

  I went the same route. I started to want to learn web design and the Muse is an excellent tool. The code it generates, however, not to use it in Dreamweaver. This could be done, I think this isn't worth it, even for a real Geek. Once you get to Muse you will find there are things missing, stuff, you want to do, but are just tough in Muse or you can buy a widget. It is possible in DW and you get which through subscription, so it makes sense. Me what I know now, I'll go directly to DW to learn, except if you want results right now. If you don't want something to cause I stay with Muse and maybe learn to animate CC to add some pizazz to the site. If you only want a simple layout and a couple supporting stick with Muse pages if you want a larger site use DW.   Hi there is community.

  I'm determined to learn Dreamweaver because it seems to be the most common and recommended way to create totally professional Web sites but am overwhelmed by where to start!

  I searched on the net through and found a plethora of companies that offer courses (costing of thousands) but I'm just not sure they are all good then...

  I'm here for some reccomendations if you wouldn't mind saving a few minutes? It's very appreciated.

  Now I must tell you that I have no experience using HTML or other, so I'm a complete novice. I have basic computer skills, (MS packages etc.).
