  You will need the serial number that you have when you bought it to activate the software.

  You can install and activate the perpetual software (purchased) two computers of the same type (mac or pc), as long as you use it on one at a time. (product of lightroom multi platform is the exception because it can be installed on the pc and mac platforms)

  It is advisable to disable the software on a computer on which it will be is most used, especially before giving away or selling the computer or reformat the hard disk.   I have Windows 7 32-bit last month.  I installed the demo of HAWX and he ran a program compatibility Wizard after installation.  He showed that DirectX 10 has been installed.  When I run DXDiag, I also show DirectX 11.  Now, I have installed DirectX 9 .0c on this machine.  Then you can try to install it and see if that makes a difference.

  If you have a retail copy of Vista, you must activate by phone.  Click Start, type "slui 4" and press ENTER.

  If your copy of Vista is preinstalled on your computer, you can't use it with the new motherboard and you will need to purchase a copy of the license full of Windows.  Most of the editions of Vista out of support in two months so consider Windows 7.
