  Is it possible to lock an item hidden in the Actions Panel? , I built a scene drag / move and currently when an item is hidden it can still be dragged and dropped.

  I would do it differently,

  Select your 3 items on the stage and put them to show off

  

  Now you trigger events now, you can set the display on the help:

  SYM.$("name_of_element"). Show();

  Change the name of your elements in the code. You should have 3 of them.

  OR select them and give them a class name as below.

  

  In this case, the class name is Martine

  Now you can use on your events

  Note: do not forget the point in the name which means "class".

  You save by playing an action when an action recording.

  This is done through the registration of all action and play action in the Panel while recording actions.

• How can I insert html into the Actions Panel to format text?

  I am trying to create text using html, so I could format it in html.  I created a text box, it has given an instance name, "Dynamic text" selected and clicked 'display the text in html format.  When I click F9 (go on the Panel shares) to insert my html code, I get the message "current selection cannot have actions applied to it.  Am I missing something?  How can I insert html into the Actions Panel to format text?

  In order to assign html text to a textfield, you must assign your htmlText of a textfield property.  If you must give a name of uinstance to the textfield and then assign the text.  If you named the "tField" textfield, in the scenario that contains the textfield you EF text html as follows...

  As I understand it, the Group of Action (F9 in Flash) and ActionScript (.as files) are completely different. If so, what is the best used for programming of games and what is most powerful? Can ActionScript do whatever the Actions panel can do?

  they are different, but not completely different.

  ActionScript code can be placed in the action panel or it may be in the autonomous .as files.  There is no difference in the code used in a code of vs .as file in the action panel.

  and I do not know powerful is the right word, but the stand-alone code in .as files can do all of this code in the action panel can do but not the other way around: you can create classes in .as and you can do that files in the action panel.

• Animation in the Actions Panel

  How can I access symbols on the stage so that I can manually code JavaScript works to animate them?

• lost ability to view effects in the action panel

  Illustrator to Adobe CS5 on Mac OS X 10.7.4.

  I used to be able to do something-> effect-> 3d rotate, then go to the Panel shares and set up the 3D revolution, click on it and change it again. Now, when I open the Panel shares the simple 3d revolve is replace by a long list of actions, of course, I can't do the 3d revolution effect appear and change it.

  I removed all the Illustrator preferences in my library file; but he always does.

  Try the appearance Panel. Select the object with the 3D effect and it should appear there.

  You might have accidentally pinned the Action tab of the script of the previous frame Panel.

  (1) open the Script Panel

  (2) look under the script box, you should see 2 tablets and between them an icon of pine (pine active script / close pin script)

  I'm learning the basics of ActionScript 3.0 and it is said, referring to the Commission for Action, "tap Add a new item to the script button and then choose flash.display > MovieClip > methods > stop.»

  I see about 50 classes after fl.controls (and a couple of fl.controls above) have not.  try to update (Help/updates...) to see if it makes something interesting.

• I don't get the full panel in the Actions Panel.

  I'm on a PC and I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times without success. Is there a problem with the Panel actions on the PC?

  I tried to develop the Panel, but the small symbol of code/action that is supposed to be to the right of "Full Code" isn't there.

  Try this:

  Select an actiion element in the Panel of the item. {}

  Windows should open.

  Select click event

  Select the small arrow at the bottom of the window.

  I have an extension Panel for my users in Photoshop that contains buttons to items of menu and tools. I have also two buttons that run scripts which have been fulfilled Actions scripts. What I've learned, it's that these buttons on the extension Panel do not work if the action of two scripts are not loaded in the action panel.

  What I would like to ask you is for scripts to run without having to the load in the Actions Panel. Is what I have in my file hotscript.jsx to one of the Actions below. How would this code does not require scripts to be loaded in the Actions Panel?

  Hi Sam,

  I strongly support the advice of Chuck. Your ScriptingListener code should be equivalent to:

  function selShade() { app.doAction("Shade", "Shade") }
  function selCreatepdf() { app.doAction("Before After Presentation", "Before After PDF") }
  

  in other words, you call Actions loaded into ActionSets - if they are not loaded, your calls fail.

  I strongly support the advice of Chuck. If you have done the actions, or in any case if you have stocks yourself, you could automatically convert it into javascript using script xbytor ActionToJavascript.jsx (find xtools download here on SourceForge). Then put the code and just call these functions, no need to have users install actions more (and by the way, your code will be a little more watertight).

• A few questions about the workflow with the window Code and Actions Panel

  If I have the window of open Code and want to add a new action to an element (by right-clicking and choosing "open stock...) "), the program is not responding. I have to close the Code window to open the Actions Panel. Then add the Action and then close the control panel and reopen the window code. It's not a way I can see to have Actions open and open at the same time.

  Actions is not yet considered as a 'window' that it cannot be opened in this menu drop-down. It floats also only - you cannot dock anywhere.

  I know that you can click on the small icon to the right of the name of the item in the properties panel for "open stock". But that only works once. Say that I have added a click to an element using this icon event, but then, I also want to add a mouseout/mouseouthandler() event. If I click on this icon, once again the Panel is described in orange but nothing happens.

  It is slow me down having to open and close windows whenever I have add a new action. Am I missing something? Is there a secret character that I'm supposed to use to add an action without having to use the Actions window. I prefer open the Code panel so I can easily hope around the code for different elements. This division between the Action and the Code is intuitive and . ineffective

  If you want to use the window Code, no need to jump on stock {} icon or use ' shares open dethrone ' command, just keep the Code window opens, make a click right then don't use the icon to the right of the symbol or element you want to apply an action to - see + captures. When you click on the + follow the special action string. This way you can add several 'Actions' without having to close the Code window.

  

  Regarding the by clicking on the icon {} when the Code window is already open, like a time thing - good observation. You will need to use the above + process to add successive events.

• Migrate from the actions of CS3 to CS4

  Hello

  I want to migrate my actions of CS3 to CS4. The CS4 is a new installation on a Windows 7 fresh, CS3 settings I only have a backup of my drive before installing new. This backup, I checked the "C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Actions" folder, but it is empty. In my CS3, I had a lot of actions, sorted into different folders. Other presets (as for turns or the mixer channels) are there, so I'm pretty confident that my backup worked correctly.

  Am I missing something here and find the CS3 stock elsewhere or are they gone for good?

  Different folders like in different action sets in the Actions Panel, right? have you actually used the Save Actions command in the Actions panel menu? If you don't back up then try to copy this file: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Adobe Photoshop CS3 Settings\Actions Palette.psp in the same place but with CS4 instead of CS3 in the path
