Two monitors from Compaq dc5700

I put a pci graphics card and it works! I use it now, however; now my advice on does not work. If I unplug the pci, the edge will work. How can I get that they can operate at the same time, so I can extend my office?

Yes, I think you can get a dual display load balancer. But it might not support a streched display, it will only duplicate your first monitor on the second. (mirror, display)

I have a Compaq Presario SR5610F.  I want to upgrade the video card, so I can run two monitors.  What is the lowest card cost that is compatible with this machine?  The computer has the PCI Express Slot.  It has only a power of 250W.  There is a card that can be purchased to upgrade the memory of 256 MB card, run two monitors and I must not change the power supply?  I have a high-end gaming card.

Are what video connectors your monitors supported?  Most of the low-end cards have vga and DVI connectors, you should swing $30-$60.  If you are looking for dual DVI, nVidia has a 8600GT for around $100 but may need to get connector to power the card with your current diet.

  • Can I hurt my graphics card by running two monitors?

I use a 15 Mid-2010 "MacBook Pro with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 MB. I usually run two monitors from 15 "when I'm using photoshop or to CAD drafting, but I'm considering upgrading to a 27" of 2560 x 1440 monitor. Is there a risk of damage to my computer or the graphics card by doing this? I would like a larger screen to work, but he also takes my computer to last a little longer and can't hurt it. Thank you!

  • Two monitors on Z220 Workstation

    Hello!

I hope I can get help setting up two monitors on my workstation Z220.

    OS = Windows 7 Professional (64 bit)

    CPU = Xeon E3 1225 V2 3.2 Ghz (a supposedly graphic internal Intel HD P4000)

    Video = NVIDIA Quadro K600

    Monitor 1: HP Pavilion 27xi w/DVI interface

Monitor 2: Interface Acer X243W w/DVI (other monitors w/interface available DVI)

I found a guide on the HP website (http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA4-4148ENW.pdf) suggesting it * is * possible to have several screens on this system, a branch of the internal graphics port, and the other attached to the graphic video card port. The completed manual to activate the onboard graphics in the BIOS (which I did), download and install integrated on the hp.com website - graphics card drivers but I can't find the drivers. Cannot download it from Intel site either.

This form of reading a little more closely, it looks like I'll have to throw my Quadro K600 card and replace it with a NVS 300, 310 or 510 if I want two monitors on my computer Z220. Is this correct, or is the user manual HP correct and all I need are the integrated video drivers?

    Nick

Found answer on my own with a continuous research. Finally on download for internal video driver Intel - Intel site, not HP. As soon as it was installed the second monitor will light up. They confirmed that it * is * possible to use internal graphics * and * graphics card discrete to run two monitors. Purchase of NVS 300, 310, 510 is NOT necessary. Hope this helps someone else.

  • Do I have reason to infer that I can't get two monitors running on my HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 410 t?

I got the Pavilion Elite HPE - 410 t with the included nVidia GeForce 315 graphics card and tried to get two monitors put in place. I have two VGA screens and I run one of them off the coast of DVI using a VGA port to DVI, and it works fine. However, I can not all signals from the built-in VGA port, so I started to look around the site of HP. I came across a page that lists the motherboard Plug and he shouted that the embedded video is not available if a graphics card is installed.

Thus, it seems that I am out of luck, but I just wanted to see if anyone could tell me if it is maybe something obvious that I'm missing. My nVidia monitors also has an HDMI port, but I understand that I would need a HDMI monitor to be able to use this port.

Can someone let me know if I'm wrong in my understanding of my options, or if there is an easy solution?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Yes, you are right to assume that if you have a video card installed, the integrated graphics chip is disabled.  Looking at the specifications of your card (see link below), he suggests that it has a VGA, DVI and HDMI connection.  However, I realize that these specifications vary and may not apply to the card that you have.

    NVIDIA GeForce 315

If yours doesn't have the VGA adapter, then your also had reason to assume need you a monitor with an entry in order to use 2 monitors HDMI.

    Kind regards

  • Anyone WHO is running 2 monitors from lightning on a Mac Mini (Windows 7)?

Did someone drive actually two screens Thunderbolt out of a Mac Mini (late 2014, complete the form below) in bootcamp with Windows 7?  Apple says you can do (see below), I couldn't, and I'm pretty technically competent.  Windows 7 in Bootcamp runs absolutely perfectly, I used all the latest drivers and drivers from Bootcamp OK/set of tools for my machine (Apple publishes sets of specific tools for each machine).  Windows just absolutely does not see the second monitor Thunderbolt, I went through each option of control panel in Windows 7.  To do this, of course, works very well under OS X.  I am currently using Parallels to work around the problem, but the decline in performance is much too tight, and I need to run Windows directly in the training camp with two monitors.  Help, please.

Are the two monitors of TB Garland or connect directly to the Mini?

  • How can I connect another monitor to compaq SG3 because there is only 1 VGA port and no HDMI.

How can I connect another monitor to compaq SG3 series because there is only 1 VGA port at the back and there is no HDMI port.  The operating system is Windows 7. I think to buy vga splitter, I don't know if that will allow me to move images/data between the monitors. Please tell us what to do. Thank you

    It is based on the expected results.  A VGA splitter will give you two monitors but they will display the same image.  If the expected result is two different pictures, maybe something like this will do;

  • USB 3.0 docking station pro with two monitors

I have an E550 connected to a dock, Pro USB 3.0. To get two monitors working, I got a VGA plugged into the laptop to a monitor and a SVGA from the platform to the other. I want then to the main display on the second.

But I can drive both monitors of the dock? It is not clear in the manual if this can be done. I suppose that if I hang a HDMI VGA adapter to the dock, I can then drive the first monitor from the dock too?

I can confirm that it works.

A DP/DVI for dock first monitor and a DVI/DVI for the dock to the second monitor gives an extended through the two display.

  • Two monitors on E73

I have a ThinkCentre Small Form Factor with an i7 CPU E73 - 4790 s which uses the built in HD 4600 Graphics. I plan on connecting two 2560 * 1440 resolution screens. The problem is that I have only 1 display output port. What is the best way to solve this problem?

My guess is that I need to install another graphics card. I'll be able to use the built-in ports simultaneously and another card, or do I need a card I can connect two monitors to?

What card would you recommend? I have need for the performance of any game, as it is a desktop computer.

According to this, you can run both at the same time.

    https://support.Lenovo.com/us/en/documents/ht062228

also I suggest you you day BIOS for later using the ISO method.

You must use a low profile for a Mini PC card. I suggest a GT730 Nvidia as the best performance for the money unrelated to the game. GDDR5 is preferable. Caution check the specifications of your resolution, you need her to be at 60 fps: DisplayPort, dual-link DVI or HDMI 2.0

    Hi isykzh,

  • HP Envy 15 t-3000: two monitors

So I was wondering if I could use two external monitors with this laptop. They would be an ASUS VN248 23.8 in. and an e2250swdn AOC 21.5 inches. So far I would intend to use a VGA to HDMI converter / for the COA and a converter USB to VGA for the ASUS.

USB to VGA system requirements are:

    • Available hi-speed USB 3.0 port
    • Windows XP / 7 / 8
    • Processor: Intel / AMD single core processor 1.5 GHz or higher
    • RAM: 512 MB memory or more

From now on, I am currently using the ASUS via a HDMI cable and it works perfectly. I would also certainly use only the two external monitors.
The USB/VGA also mentions a compatibility only with CRT / LCD monitor, projector and nothing else. I realize description does not stop with etc, but could possibly use a LED monitor too with this converter by chance?

    Hi @Levy432

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your Notebook t-3000 HP Envy 15 and the question about your use of three or more screens simultaneously. Only two monitors can be connected using the (your laptop account 1) VGA, DVI or HDMI. Use three or more screens, to a DisplayPort dongle. Here is a document onconnect more than two monitors.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • What video card can be added to the s330f to support two monitors?

I want to add a second monitor to my HP Pavilion s330f.  I think I'll have to add a video card that supports two monitors.  Since this is a slimline box, size is a matter in addition to compatibility.  What cards can be used?

I was unable to locate a "s330f" on HP support site. Please provide the number of name and/or product of full model specific aid. Assuming you have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f desktop PC, the power plant is only rated at 160 watts and there is no PCIe cards x 16 graphics in your computer's power market will be based.

Depending on what you plan on using two monitors, because there may be an alternative to a new power supply and graphics card.

    (1) Day trading, word documents, spreadsheets and other... buy an adapter USB-to-video as the EVGA UV plus + UV19 or UV39.

    (2) game... not recommended

    (3) source a bigger power supply and the new graphics card for HP

    (4) source of a greater power of athenapower.com and a graphics card 'low - profile' from another source.

  • Using two monitors (Windows XP) display configuration

I spent more than an hour and can't seem to keep the settings I want.  Using Windows XP, I have two monitors side by side.  I want to use my right monitor as my primary monitor. I want to have the taskbar, my icons, when I open programs on the right.  I want to use the monitor on the left to drag items on multitasking or comparison to previous years.  I can get it all, but my mouse wants turns off the screen to the right on the monitor from left to right, left and right while what I would LIKE IT to do is to go back into the seam in the middle.  Right monitor on the monitor on the left goes to left... and going to the right through right to left monitor.  I can get the setting to do, but as soon as I restart the mouse wants to go "around the block" to join the other monitor again.  In the words of my monitors is on the left (2) and the right (1).  I chose the right monitor (1) be the primary monitor, so there the old dark blue box. The key trick is to drag these two icons so that their order changes.

ATI has a tool called Catylst Control Center, which can help.   I don't know if it is still available for such a product so.

  • When you use two monitors Media Player will not playback on screen #2 video (not a problem with the monitor #1).

I'm sorry for the long post, but this is the type of problem that is easy to explain in person but if transported by writing it might take a little longer for the sake of the definition. Please read on without fear because this problem is not as complicated as you might think, I hope.

I use two (2) screens of computers with the same system but why Media Player does not work on a single monitor and not the other monitor?

I use two monitors with my PC thanks to the CLONE function and things last a lot. #1 monitor is a computer 19 "monitor. Monitor #2 is at the end of the piece. VIZIO, the manufacturer, markets a monitor #2 as a computer screen, nope, it's a 47 '' Vizio HDTV that I use as a computer screen. I use the installation without any problems for over a year now until yesterday. The problem: now, when I use two monitors to play a video, the sound will play but not the video. What I see is a black screen empty. This negative situation applies to only monitor the #2 and does NOT monitor #1.

    > very important Please note... when I have both monitors running and I play a video that you can actually see the video play on the #1, the 19-inch video monitor! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the video player when it runs on the small computer screen 19 inch. But when you turn your head to look through the living room where I Monitor #2 placed you won't see the video running on #1 monitor as you normally would before that dysfunction appeared. (No, instead of this you will see the Windows Media Player (or Nero or RealPlayer) readers 'playing' a black screen blank even if 1) both monitors are indeed cloned and 2) video plays without any problem on monitor # 1. Monitor #2 with media work (sort of) because the volume level is adjustable, and you can see the bar jump up and down and all around media player progression but the problem is that there is simply no video when you try watching the video on a monitor #2.

    > except to play videos through a Player multimedia, I can use my Vizio TV as a monitor for what is related to the computer, there is no another negative question. I can surf the web, edit videos, etc. When I run a video from Youtube to my computer the monitor #2 TV Vizio, the Youtube video plays well. Ditto for Netflix, no complaints there. In fact, I just typed this post on and displayed using Monitor #2... But if I want to watch a video that I saved in a folder XP then the only option is to use the #1 monitor.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Do restore of the system as a first step. If this fails,

    1. uninstall all software of Monitor 2

    2. unplug the monitor 2

    3. restart the computer

    4. connect the monitor 2

    5. install all the software monitor
