  I sent my questions to ocpexam_ww and get contradictory answers. I have two questions.
  
  1. in the past five years, I took the following courses: RAC, Linux for the DBAs, GRID, Performance Tuning, backup/restore, Admin workshop I, Admin Workshop II in different cities. I have certificates and registration IDs (even if we have a sticker quillogy gold covering the registration ID). I presented the eligible courses qualifications 'Hands on' on my account prometric I intend to get the oca, ocp, linux, network and perhaps rac certifications over the next five years. My account shows that two registered practical courses and anyone ranked my comments for other courses them marked as failed. I asked ocpexam, and they say that the first two are enough for the OCP. I know and understand that, but rather that the other doesn't have a marking would it not better mark their past for the qualifications of potential future certification? • Windows 8 Pro and Cyber Media DVD/Blu Ray software?

  Just upgraded my HP DV7 to win 8 pro, looking through the HP site on win 8 upgrade and it mentions software multimedia cyber and the fact that it must be downloaded again and reinstalled.  How are you going to download this software by HP and if not through HP you to directly purchase the software?  Doesn't seem fair?

  There is a screw on the bottom of the laptop that holds the drive in the screw about 4 inches from the front of the dvd player door.on the botom of the machine, remove the screw and remove the disc.

• Next and Previous buttons do not work in a Blu - ray writer

  I use Encore 5 and have created a blu ray player. In reminder, the when I preview the disc I see that all my menu navigations work fine, all my links of chapter work very well and once I start to play a chapter, the buttons previous and following in the preview screen work very well also, navigate to the next or previous chapeter as appropriate.

  Then, I created a disk image and it burned to a BD - RE disc to test on my PS3. The disc turn and play very well on the PS3, except for the buttons next and previoud. Click on the next button, I get the message "this operation is not allowed. Click on the back button, I am stuck at the beginning of the current chapter, but he never goes to the previous chapter.

  Still, I have a unique schedule containing a minute 15 film (m2v). I create 4 chapters in the film by inserting the points of capture and tied the end of each chapter at the beginning of the next.   Why you do this? The typical method is not end these actions and the timeline plays through a different method is used to read the individual chapters, if you need to play alone and return to a menu. But if you want to play the next chapter, simply do nothing.

  The menu is a regular menu or a popup? I understand that the first piece is your timeline.

  For the record, I do not think that relevant here, but added CS6 bluray chapter playlist.

• Project yet for DVD and Blu - ray?

  I'm new to Production Premium CS5. I did all my parts of my project and kept in HD and rendered in Media Encoder CS5 for blu - ray. I mounted my project in still and in preview then the disc blu - ray set to ensure that nothing has been left aside. Then I burned a DVD. After burning the DVD, my preview is more clear as clear HD. It's pixelated more like a DVD project. Is there a way to get the preview back to the overview of HD quality or do I copy the project again and rename it for a DVD project before burning my first one. The reason why I ask is I make two copies of the project still on my hard drive, a DVD and one for the Blu - ray and it works but the two doubles room on my hard drive. Any solution?

  I recommend you to create two projects.  Do not change the parameters of a project.

  I have a video project, I intend to distribute on blu - ray and standard DVD. I plan create all menus and buttons for the blu - ray disc first. Can I just reduce the menus and buttons in again when I go to create the DVD standard? Or better, I'll recreate the standard DVD menus in Photoshop? Someone else to create the menus same br and standard DVDs? Any tips? I'm using CS5. Thank you.

  I would certainly agree with Jim's response above too.

  The problem with trying to use the same image is not massively different resolution (1920 x 1080 from 720 x 480), but also the size of the pixels.

  BD uses square pixels and what you design is what you get in the disc - DVD on the other hand uses non-square pixels and it can be a nightmare to design if you try at the scale of the images of high Resolutiom down to SD

  The SPHL button are also different - BD requires a separate layer for each State of the button to coloiurs up to 256 while DVD gives you the complete package on 2 bits of an image indexed with a total of 3 corridors.

  I would definitely say to create separate menus for each project.

• HIGHLIGHTS HD Blu - ray DVD project - built at-SD and BUTTON TEXT

  I use Encore CS4 on a Mac Pro running 10.6.5. I drafted a Blu - ray and built my menu inside Photoshop CS4. The menu is 1920 x 1080 and has several buttons text. The buttons are consisting of a layer group ' (+) button name ' with a text on the inside layer. Initially, I selected the option 'Create text subpicture' for each button on the inside yet. I tried later to create inside each button subpicture layers defined in photoshop by creating "(= 1) button subpicture" layers within each group of 'name of the button (+)'.

  I have set up my games color and in the preview again and engraved on a Blu - ray disc button highlights look crisp and clear. I then try to generate output of DVD on a DVD format disc. My highlights of the menu are very irregular and the edges of the text seem to be cut off (I see the color of the normal state).

  I made sure to disable antialiasing on all my text buttons. I also expect a lot of reminder of the downscaling ability? If I resize my menu from 1920 x 1080 to 720 x 480 and replace it BY NTSC widescreen in Photoshop and then start with a new DVD project in everything seems fine. I hope not having to rebuild the chapter menus and button routing every time I create a project both BD and DVD.

  The buttons of my chapter menus work fine. Don't know what the difference with the exception of a different color welcomes you. I compared the menus in photoshop and all settings appear to be the same.

  The downscaling of the menus again from HD to SD quality is absolutely horrible. That's why I always build separate projects for Blu - ray and DVD, despite the ability of the program to output DVD and Blu - ray for a single project.   My company creates motion menu to recall model kits, and we create a separate button for each format highlights (HD, SD, PAL) in Photoshop for our products, simply because of the unacceptable quality of the downscaling of the still.
