Typekit fonts in preview of Muse

Hi does anyone know how to see typekit in Mode Overview Muse fonts?  It would be really useful.

I looked around on the web and it doesn't seem to be a solution at present.

It's a pain to the publication to keep every time I have adjust a size or an attack.

More, after awhile the published site looks like 'broken' after several "publishes" and I have to wait until the next day to the version published browser update - I tried to empty the cache of the browser etc. and who does not.  So sad.

Muse is a great product.  I would use more, but I am cautious when using Typekit fonts until they are more 'transparent' with Muse.

Hello

I assume you are using the workflow initiated Muse (http://museinsider.com/how-to-add-typekit-fonts-to-your-muse-site.html).

The following steps can help with local preview (file > Site overview in the browser), but not in preview mode

1. Add 127.0.0.1 in the list separated by commas of the areas with your Typekit kit is configured. Publish your kit.

2. When you preview the site in the browser, the URL can read something like http://158.39.223.181:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html. Replace the number preceding the colon by 127.0.0.1 (http://127.0.0.1:33333/Preview/website-1/index.html).

Please let me know if it works.

  • Typekit fonts export do not Muse?

I have synced typekit fonts and you can see them working in the Muse and the preview of my site. However, when I export the HTML and display fonts made up the site on a server are replaced by alternatives?

    Hi Richard,

Looks like you need to add the domain name to your Web site when you export the Project Muse; all your domain names should be included in this list for Typekit fonts to work.

Here's how to add another site to the list:

    1) go to Muse and choose the option "Export to HTML".

    (2) you will be asked to provide a list of domain names for export. Make sure you add all your domains to this list as a list separated by commas.

    (3) upload the new HTML to your web server and Typekit fonts will begin work in a few minutes.

If this does not resolve the problem, could you share the URL of your Web site so we can take a look?  Thank you!

  • Muse is not linking Typekit fonts on export

Hi guys. I added the "Casablanca URW" typekit fonts to Muse, but when I export to HTML format, even if the Muse brings up a dialog box that says that it is that connects to Typekit, the police is not exported and replaced with the standard font. This is despite the fact that Typekit is provided with my subscription... Can someone advise?

    Hello

Typekit fonts are bound by the domain or URL entered by you at the time of the FTP upload, publish on BC or export to HTML.

In the case of export to HTML if you open the files locally, then the field will be different (this will be the path of the local file on the machine you) If this happens. But if you download the same files on the FTP server that has the same domain that you entered when you "Export as HTML" then it should work fine. In short, if you move the same files on your server then the preview of the typekit fonts works perfectly. Fonts Typekit does not export when I 'release in HTML format'

  • How can I install additional Typekit fonts in Muse design and verification, code and server?

I'm designing a website for a client and need two policies that we have access to through our respective CC subscriptions. Fonts are only accessible by creating a typekit. I do not have a server on which to install the typekit said until the site is online. In the meantime, I want to use these fonts for audit purposes, and they are not available in the menu font. I understand that there is some HTML code to put in the header so that the appropriate fonts are used on the site online. But how do I actually work with these fonts when designing and proofing exclusion using Fund policies?

    Hi kharchi,.

Currently, you can only use and preview the free and open-source Typekit fonts in Muse. Adding additional Typekit fonts requires little code and a site online to preview fonts.

If you are uncomfortable with a bit of HTML/CSS, the Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit include the code of the interface of Muse:

    http://museinsider.com/how-to-add-Typekit-fonts-to-your-Muse-site.html

Or you can add the embed code to the Properties dialog box of the Page within the Muse, which will include in theof the page when you export your Web site.

However, we do see the value of being able to design in Muse with all fonts in your Typekit library. This will require greater integration between Typekit & Muse. I'll give you a big boost for the team in this way for you.

Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for your patience.

    See you soon,.

  • Muse rasterize Typekit fonts. Why?

I use without Source on a site and Muse converts to the image. I obviously don't want that. What can I do to stop the rasterization of Typekit fonts? Thank you.

  • MUSE CC - Error 403: No. Typekit access with no Typekit fonts used

    Hello!
I had late payment, and it seems that the Muse crashed because of it. I now have a full subscription to all Adobe Creative Cloud products for a year.
When I opened the muse I got this warning:
    Entry warning.PNG

First of all, I have chnaged all fonts in all pages including the masters for desktop and mobile web fonts comfortaa, but somewhere in this project is hidden from the typekit fonts. Try again later I updated each text in standard HOME page font Trebuchet and I still have this error warning.

When I write the site, I get this message:

    Capture.PNG
I logged in and out of the clouds Creative app for several times (see 4 times added 40 fonts), restarted my computer 3 times and still no results. Maybe the problem is that I am on Windows 10 machine, although I have not experienced problems of this kind underway 5-6 months since I've updated.
Strangest thing is that this Muse wants Typekit access even if I use the fonts from there...

    Help me!

Found a few discussions that can help:

Could not generate code to activate one or several web fonts [Error 500].

  • Muse does not allow me access to all of the Typekit fonts - why not?

I am connected to CC and Muse running, but I can't add Typekit fonts. When I click 'Add web fonts' and then click on the tab "Typekit" he says: I'm "not connected." Why am I to deny access to (all) the Typekit fonts?

I finally just shut Muse, creative cloud and my computer and then rebooted everything and who seems to have "solved" the problem at the moment. That said my experience and that of other Typekit users in the support sections seems to indicate Typekit is buggy and not ready for prime time.

  • Hi, I would like to add a few on my site of Muse, but typekit fonts?

but it does not quite for me, I tried many times and I don't know what I'm doing wrong (I know I should publish the site first to see the extra police but it still does not ) I'm really confused, please help! (fonts, I want to add is Brandon Grotesque, Grotesque Activ).

I was very disappointed to discover Muse did not support the full of Typekit library when Typekit became available to members of creative cloud. It is clearly one of the biggest disadvantages in a comparison of Muse vs Dreamweaver. There are hacks available to embed the fonts in Typekit Muse, but the 'how' procedures are not very friendly. Themes of Muse has a complete widget Typekit, but even this is not all that easy to use. They have a nearly 9-minute video on their website describing the procedure.

Adobe Muse full Typekit library Widget | MuseThemes.com

In addition, I was quite disappointed by the number of characters in Typekit web only (as Brandon Grotesk) or have only one or two of several thickness of font available for the version of office / print (such as Trajan Pro and Trajan Pro without).

As a result, I have not messed with Typekit a lot and honestly don't find much value with it - at least not much being blocked access. So I'm always looking for new fonts to bargain introduction of prices on sites like MyFonts or keeping an eye on some free sites like police squirrel.

Incidentally, fonts "Edge" in pale Muse just with what is available for free to the squirrel to the police. In the Muse, you will get a fairly limited number of weight/style with edge fonts choices. Some of these same fonts have squirrel are much more styles/weight put at their disposal.

In the end, it's just much faster and easier to buy or acquire legally fonts web either through paid sites such as MyFonts or free sites like the squirrel of the police and in the end upward with system fonts and web, you can use crazy hacks on your computer in Muse without any code.

  • Typekit fonts in Muse CC 20141

It's great that we can use web fonts hosted self in Muse since the last update. It is easy to download web fonts and use them.

I could not know how to work with Typekit fonts. How do we use these fonts (not Adobe Edge, that are available through the build menu) as well? He not seem to be possible to download the actual files of the web fonts and download them to Muse.

Does anyone have an idea on what may cause the problem? It happens in browsers.

    Thank you!

Cschrader81 didn't mention 403 error I believe his question happens due to a bug of specific know-how Business hosting of catalyst. Bug has been fixed on site and will post a fix soon for the same thing.

In the meantime, please go to file > Site Properties > advanced > uncheck the box "enable editing in the browser" and download it BC.

Once the fix is available, you can still activate this option.

I would like to know if it does not fix the issue.

  • How can I use the full range of Typekit fonts?

I want to use a couple of fonts Typekit (Calluna and Minion) that are not part of the library of Web fonts.

It is now a feature of Muse CC or do I have to use a widget, like this...

Full using of Typekit fonts in Adobe Muse CC - Widget by MuseThemes.com on Vimeo

Also, if I wanted to use a different font... as Overview... not in the Typekit library, how can I do this?

    Thank you very much

    Simon

    Hello Simon,.

From now Adobe account Visual support for web fonts library. However, you CAN use your fonts of type kit. You can use a widget as described the posted video, however you can also use CSS custom in page properties metadata.

    It should look like this:

Home photos explain how to integrate type kit with muse custom html header:

Go to typekit and create a new kit, make sure that the field of WHAT YOUR site is published to the selected topic. The star designates any page.yourdomain.com.

After clicking on continue that adobe will give you some custom JQuery, a Javascript type. Copy it and place it in your page properties > data metatag as shown below.

Add your fonts you want for the kit that you have created. When you select the style you want, click on "using fonts in CSS" in the top menu on the left. A box of pop - upp appears with a code. Copy a background to your Clipboard.

Paste it into the head of meta data WITH tag by the suite h1 denotes a position, p indicates paragraph etc. The font weight is the style, when you browse typekit, it will tell you the wights; That is to say proxima nova medium weight is 600, light etc. 100. Font style is the style: italic, bold, etc. When you add this attribute, ensure that they end with a semicolon (;).

Now the fun part: click on your text and go to the menu text. The last field is a combo number or letter, h1, h2, p etc. Here is the text that you registration of styles! If you want the text are correlated with your code h1 then h1 tag there. If you want the ITI to correlate to the code you p, the label p etc. ALL your h1 will have the same appearance and all your p will look the same.

They won't be visible in the editor or preview, but only in your area.

If it's too much work, just use the widget =).

Let me know if you have any Q!

    Cam

PS: Sorry it has been so hectic, I couldn't find a good video, so I had to take some quick screenshots.

  • Web fonts not listed is not in the font drop-down in Muse list

I have the same problem on my laptop and the desktop linked to the same account Adobe CC.  I have a lot of fonts installed via Typekit Web, but only as 4-6 of them appear in the list of fonts.  I tried signing out desktop application Adobe CC and restart Muse, as it worked in the past, but lately nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?

Please try to reinstall the Typekit fonts once again, is still does not work by the suggestion given by Preran.

  • Typekit fonts may not display on a mirror of my site (area of replacement) version.

    Hi all

I'm trying to track down why my typekit fonts will be displayed correctly on my main domain: nicksava.com, but do not seem to load for users or myself on my area of replacement: nicksavarese.com

To work around the problem, I understand that I can just download the same site on the FTP server to the two addresses - but I currently have domain forwarding set up to mirror the site and prefer to keep it that way.

All advice is appreciated. Thank you!

The instant kit on your site does not list the area that you are having problems with. In order to have the fonts to load up on nicksavarese.com, you will need to add to your list of domains.

Here's how to add another site to the list:

    1) go to Muse and choose the option "Export to HTML".

    (2) you will be asked to provide a list of domain names for export. Make sure you add all your domains to this list.

    (3) upload the new HTML to your web server and Typekit fonts will begin work in a few minutes.

If please give that a try and let me know if you have other questions.

    Best regards

  • Typekit fonts do not online publication

I looked in the forums for Muse and similar Typekit, but I can't seem to find the problem.

I just published a Web site created in Muse: iampioneer.org

I have 2 families of fonts added as webfonts (Adelle & Proxima Nova) in Muse and also a Typekit Kit.

This is how it is supposed to look like:

    Screen Shot 2016-05-20 at 2.10.22 PM.png

1 police (Adelle) makes it very well on the website of my local station, but Proxima Nova is substituted for Arial/Helvetica:

And on other computers, but the fonts substituted for other fonts:

    Any help is appreciated!

Sorry for the late reply! The domain must be added in Muse.

    1) go to Muse and choose the option "Export to HTML".

    (2) you will be asked to provide a list of domain names for export. Make sure you add all your domains to this list.

    (3) upload the new HTML to your web server and Typekit fonts will begin work in a few minutes.

  • I need a Korean font available in Adobe Muse as text and not as image.

I need a Korean font available in Adobe Muse as text and not as image.  I went to Adobe Typekit and raise police SOURCE HAN WITHOUT KOREAN.  I chose the 'use' police, police has been sync and it is available in Muse, but not in the form of text, just like the picture.  HOW can I use this font in text form? He is listed as the system font. ??? Help, please.

I had the same problem when I wanted to use the Source Han San for the Chinese.

Muse apparently does not yet support languages.
