• UTL_MAIL. SEND the log information

  I use utl_mail package to send email in html format.
  I am able to send emails successfully, but there is a delay in the completion of my procedure utl_mail and mail delivery.
  I guess that the utl_mail.send will not wait for the mail to be completely delivered to mailbox recipients / or this package returns an output parameter.
  How can I determine if the mail has been sent successfully to the concerned recipient?
  Is there a newspaper or an oracle table where in I can track/monitor emails sent through utl_mail.send.
  Please also let me know if there are specific exceptions defined for utl_mail package(ex: utl_file.invalid_mode)
  
  I was Searchin' for the information in the books and documentation, but with minimal use.
  Please throw some light on this or direct me to documents in possession of that information.

  When the conversation with the mail server fails. For example, the server is unable to accept connections to the Oracle database server. You may have incorrectly formatted e-mail recipient or sender addresses. The mail server can expect authentication (username and password).   Such an error will result in the return of an error code in response to a mail server's SMTP command. The UTL_MAIL package allows to detect that the SMTP command it send failed and then throws an exception accordingly.

  The SMTP server sends only the errors in sender Inbox when there mail delivery problems. In other words, it is accepted the mail of the customer - in this case, from using UTL_MAILPL/SQL code. He had no problem with the conversation SMTP itself. However, he ran into a form of delivery/transmission trying to process this mail - and which (should) problem will result in the release of an e-mail message to the sender to inform the sender of the problem.

  Not all mail received from the mail server like that are failures - it could be a simple warning. For example, if the mail server must connect to the domain foo.com for the delivery of your mail and e-mail in foo.com server is unresponsive, the mail as the mail server queue and retry later transmission. It can (usually do) the sender of the e-mail to inform the sender that there is a problem with the transmission, it is not an error, and that it would again seek the further transmission. It's called a soft bounce (not an error).

  A difficult bounce, for example, will receive a mail from the mail server informing you that the mailbox of the recipient is full and that it can not accept any mail. In this case, it is a mistake - your mail to this recipient has failed. Or you can receive an e-mail saying that the recipient does not exist in this area (no mailbox found to accept mail). Or you can hit a spam filter and mail server by saying he doesn't accept email from your mail server. All of these errors are hard rebounds resulting in the e-mail of origin being rejected for delivery somewhere along the line.

  Also don't forget that you don't know if your e-mail has arrived at its destination mailbox. There is no mechanism in SMTP that allows this. You can mark an e-mail header with a label that indicates the mail reader used by the recipient, to trigger an e-mail response to you when the recipient receives or open the e-mail message. But it depends on this mail reader to honor the request. I always turn off this option in my mail readers.

  The only way to determine the delivery of the electronic mail is to send a URL in the mail and asking the recipient to click on it when receiving mail - for example the approach used for the registration of an address e-mail as an account with a web site. Send the same email again in 24 hours when not receive only not URL clicks in response. After another 24 hours to consider the recipient are not interested or not accessible.

  I added the ability for our users to send a log file of the application for me (author). Its a business application. We have now deployed version and now the log file is NOT attached to the email.

• Send the log file of program as an attachment.

  I have problems with RegCure.  They (Paretologic) asked me to send only the file of log (zip files) to them in an email so they can diagnose the problem.  I am able to link all of the RegCure program (which contains zip files), but it is too long to attach it to an email and are not sent.  I found the files without any problems, but can not ONLY join these files to my email.  What do I bring them into my email?  THX

  2. what email program are you using?
  3. what happens when you try to attach just the files?
  4. How do you zip files?

  Every e-mail program has its own restrictions on the total size of the file that can be sent as an attachment.

  There are some third-party programs available online that would help you to compress files in more less storage space.
  Use your favorite search engine to search for this program that will help you accomplish this task.

  the recorded tracks synchronization information is stored in One Identity Manager database in tables starting with DPRJournal...

  You can use the report DPR_Journal_Summary to export the complete log using the report item.

  To generate the report, the uidDPRJournal parameter must be set to the UID_DPRJournal of the journal of synchronization you want to export.

  But we have to get the UID_DPRJournal of the database using the information on stratup startup configuration in your process chain.

  pop up in newspapers of vCO a few times on a workflow when I try to run it from the web client of vSphere.  I wonder if it is somehow contributing to the time it takes to render the page.  We never saw it or someone has a clue about what might be the cause.  Newspapers are clean when I run the workflow of the vCO client.

  TQCallerParameter is a kind of decorator that is not exposed in the REST API. This warning message is safe and does not affect performance at all.

  You don't see it during execution of the workflow of vCO customer because the customer vCO does not use the REST API and therefore does not need to run conversions Decorator.

  I have gift? t know what you mean with mobile continues to send the document , but if you have this problem with office word or other office applications, try to check some forums where you can find the discussion on the similar theme.

  I can't give you a precise answer, but maybe it's specific parameters of the agency or key accidentally on the keyboard and on the incoming interruption way symbol.

• TT0779: transaction must restore because the log file is full

  We had a strange problem. We use TT in cacahe to connect oracle, and we have a few cache groups, who are using time based aging. Insert us records into them, and 'old' records are unloaded by aging. Once timesten began recording messages like this every second (the system was working well before that):
  
  07:28:48.51 Err: 233506: subd: regular aging failed, error TT0779: query refused; transaction must restore because the log file system is full - file 'dbAPI.c', lineno 10103, procedure 'sb_dbAging '.
  
  The error is not only associated with aging, some other 'data management' operations also fail with errors like that.
  
  All files from TT (TT logs, transaction logs, etc.) are located on a file system that has 40 GB of free disk space (and no file systems are filled on the machine).

  This isn't really a good way to stop it. This stops the demon main instance of TT, even if there are data stores active. It's a bit like making a kill-9 on some of the main processes of Oracle DB! That's why you got the files .trace and .inval.

  For closed properly and one individual data store need you:

  1. ensure that any application accessing the data store process disconnected (tTStatus should show no connection of the application).

  2. stop the replication or cache if used agents.

  3. If you use the ramPolicy defaul setting (inUse) the data store will now offload the memory. If you use ramPolicy 'manual', issue the command ttAdmin of ramUnload to unload the data store. If you use the strategy "always." change the policy manual and unload the previously mentioned such data store.

  If you want to stop the main demon then you need to repeat steps 1 to 3 for each data store in the instance before stopping the main demon.

  Since we don't know what the problem is that it is very difficult to tell if the upgrade to 11.2.1.3.0 will fix it. I suspect that it is unlikely to do. Your license allows probably to this upgrade if you have a valid active support contract (but best to check) but noted that the upgrade from 7.0 to 11g is not a commonplace patch because there has been a lot of changes in 11g compared to 7.0. You must carefully plan the upgrade and thorough testing, and you may need to make changes in demand and or DBA procedural changes too.

• Re-buffering when entering videos full screen

  When entering full screen videos in streaming mode as on youtube, the buffering starts from the beginning, losing all data downloaded so far. I'm not quite sure it is related to version 3.6, but I never had this problem before.

  The problem is youtube, if you watch the videos when you click full screen, to 360 p 480 p or same hd resolution.

  to fix this, go to: account settings > playback settings then choose
  (*) I have a slow connection. Never play higher quality video.

  Don't forget to click on save changes

• Location of the logs on the server

  I tend to use System.log frequently in my workflow, so I can follow what is happening when I have to troubleshoot. When vCO is open, it is easy to see the newspaper as part of the workflow token. Is there an easy way to see the logs when the vCO is closed?
  
  I am running vCO on Windows and I thought I came across with this info before log files but can't seem to find it more. Now I look at the logs via the web page of vCO config but it is difficult to read because of all the other info in there. Is there an easier way to view the logs?

• Multiple Destination of the log

  Anyone know if you can send the logs to multiple destinations?  We have a preview newspaper, but our security policy requires us to send them to a central unit - so I want to send them both if that's possible?

  Just found the answer (for anyone wondering).  ESX 5.x and higher is supported. However, the ESX 4 hosts don't support multiple destinations
