U2312HM, "clearer" pixel problem

I recently bought two monitors Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM site Web of Dell Canada, but we have a strange problem, there is a small area of the screen (two very small points to be precise), I noticed where the brightness of the pixels is higher than it should be. Please note that I don't know pixels bright/stuck as change colors normally those pixels, but are simply brighter. This can be easily seen when the background is white, but is present with any color (red/green/blue). Some pictures (sorry for the bad quality, it is not clear from the pictures but with the naked eye is very annoying):

The strange thing is that this area "clearer" seems to be "behind" the screen itself and "moves" if I change my point of view by moving my head (looks like a 'hole' in the control panel). I would like to know if this monitor can be replaced and what should I do to start the procedure?

Thank you

I have to ship my rear monitor or Dell will pay shipping costs?
* As long as you have the warranty, we will pay the shipping costs.

I am outside the 30 days, so I'll be getting a refurbished/used monitor if I understand. I'm not very familiar with refurbished items and I would not receive a monitor in worse conditions than mine (in terms of scratches, bad pixels, etc.).
* You get the following in the queue. They look not for good, better, or best.

I know, for example, plus a monitor is used to exit panel color deepens. What is the difference between a monitor used/refurbished and a new?
* There is no way to answer this question.

If I'm not happy with the refurbished monitor can I change once again?
* Yes. You simply go through the whole process to get another used Exchange.

  • Satellite 5100 - Question about dead pixels. Is - this really dead pixel problem?

    Hello

I've got Satellite 5100 603. There was a few pixels on the display. I don't know what is really dead pixel problem or not because the black area appears to be behind the screen. When I move the left and right sides, the black area move too much left and right (as if the black box is behind the pixels of the screen)! And I can say that all the pixels work OK when watching from the sides right and left of the screen (because the pixels that appears to be dead, changes in search of different angles).

Are there really dead pixels or is it another problem?
    Can I do about it?

FYI, I use my laptop for 2,5 years and there is no guarantee of course...

    Thanks for any help...

    Hello

Because of your description, it is not easy to give you a proper answer. On my old laptop, I had two dead pixels and it was easy to see the boot process. At the beginning, you can see home screen Toshiba and dead pixels are usually green (the background is black).

Sorry but there is nothing to do. You have to live with it because the display is very expensive.

  • HP Pavilion dv4130us - requires the video controller driver to clear the problem of Device Manager

Any help would be appreciated. Have owned the laptop since birth. Update memory & HDD for patches of bloatware to Uncle Bill. Naoual need a video driver to resolve the problem of video hardware acceleration. I tried HP detects online etc, no video is available, would use the XP version, but HP will not install it because it is an unsupported operating system?

    Hello:

I'm not quite clear what operating system you are running.

If you are using XP, you then this video driver:

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=447371&prodNameId=447348&swEnvOID=1093&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-52779-1

If you're running Vista, then you need this one.

    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=447371&prodNameId=447348&swEnvOID=2096&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-47264-1

If you are running windows 7, run the Vista driver above. It will error out (give an unsupported OS message, I believe).  Close the error window.

Now, go into your device manager. Click on standard vga controller. Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver. Select the browse my computer for the software method and navigate to C:\SWSetup\sp34749. Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

Graphics card in your PC isn't completely Vista or W7 capable. You should now have hardware acceleration and be able to change your maximum permitted by your LCD screen resolution, but you won't have Aero.

  • Type of pixelation problems! Help, please!

IM creating a website in three languages: Chinese, Hindi and English. When I try to get a glimpse of the Hindi site I get an error message «text block on the page "Hindi" (with text) using a font named "Devanagari Sangam MN" which requires the pixelation, but this block of text can not be rasterized.» Apply a web font or web safe font' I tried to change fonts, but the translation is not displayed in Hindi, I also changed the properties of the page in Hindi and still nothing works.  I talked to Adobe twice and they don't know whats going on. They said that if I upload it to my host that there will be no problems, this is not true because he stopped twice my upload. I have attached a few screenshots for you to see. Help, please!Screen Shot 2014-07-31 at 12.31.55 AM.pngScreen Shot 2014-07-30 at 12.01.51 PM.pngScreen Shot 2014-07-30 at 4.05.56 PM.png

Forms are a problem. They use a Web or secure Web police police so that the user can type into it in the browser. If you choose a police Web or secure Web that will prevent the error/warning and on many devices/browsers/operating systems text will be help to use a font that contains the glyphs necessary language, even if the glyphs are not present in the selected font.

  • Pixelation problem

    Hello

I started using my new Windows PC for the work of the project and met with a strange problem. An open project on the Windows PC seems to have pixelation, where the same project open on MAC does not work. Thinking about it, I guess it's either a problem to do with the Codec, set screen in place (iMAC 27 "LED VS 27" Philips) or the operating system.

It wouldn't really be a problem, except that I need evidence behind the scenes for the rest of the team on the new PC, and they pick up the pixelation immediately. IF I then open the project on the iMAC, the problem goes away (I will lose access to the iMAC in the coming weeks)

Everyone works between multiple desktops and operating systems? If so, what is the procedure to bring them as well?

    Thank you

    Stone

Used to be high resolution of 1920 x 1080. This is the minimum expected now. It is fair to the HD TV... The iMac 24 "is 2560 x 1440. There are a bunch of screens out there that are more than HD. The new MacBook Pro R is 3360 x 2100 (near twice the ground of the iMac 21 "). In other words, it has more pixels of the screen 1 view every pixel of the image and tha't why the screen is so strong. The launch is thinner that the human eye can resolve without magnification. That said, the maximum display (screen area) than the MacBook R resolution Pro is able to display what looks like 1920 pixels.

Staircase effects you see on your HD display may seem worse than they really are, or they can turn better they do on your iMac. Their appearance depends on the quality of the mask and the led on the display. The iMac screen is beautiful. My LG tv in the master bedroom is also 1920 X 1080 but, seen in the normal distance see you a computer screen, it seems terribly polyhedral.

As you have discovered, the only way to really tell what the image looks like is to blow a still. No matter what display you should see the view even when aliasing to 400% or more.

  • Illustrator for PS (CS5) pixelation problem

Tonight all of a sudden, for no reason that I can determine, the stuff I copy from Illustrator appear very pixelated in Photoshop when I paste as an object dynamics or pixels. No idea why this is happening? I can't seem to solve the problems there. I work in 8 - bit in PS (I think that's what I've always done, but now I'm second guessing myself). The documents are all 300 dpi (although since Illy is supposed to be imported as vector, I don't understand why the edges are not smooth as they are to Illy).

    Any tips? Thanks in advance!

It is rasterized at the resolution of the document that you have placed in it. And you have off antialiasing when you placed it (look in the options bar).

  • Satellite A300-1EG - dead with the graphic card pixel problems

    Hello

Not after two months of use of a brand new Toshiba A300, I had a dead pixel.
Its only I guess, but what intrigues me is that it could be somehow merged with disorders, that I got with my graphics card.
I had trobule with S-video use, there was a bad image, without collors.
Is there a chance that I can have my screen replaced?

    Im still under warranty.

    Thank you

    Hello

    Regarding the dead pixel:
    > Is there a chance that I can have my screen replaced?
I doubt that the screen would be replaced only due to a dead pixel.

Please check out this article from Toshiba. I found it in the page of knowledge base of Toshiba.

  • Windows 7 running slow will be upgraded to windows 10 clear of problems

I am running windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but it raised a number of questions and is slow.

The standard way to solve this would be to do a clean reinstall.  If I want to upgrade to Windows professional 10 this will have the same effect, or I have to re - install Windows 7 first before the upgrade.

Also, on my second computer I am also running P 7 Professional but the 32 bit version.  Can I download the Windows Professional 64-bit for this machine 10 and doing a full install instead of upgrade Windows 7 32-bit to 32-bit Windows 10.

Doing one in put place at level will not solve your performance problems. In fact, this could worsen.

You can perform a clean when install upgrade to Windows 10:

  • Pixelation problems!

I send pictures that are 300 300 and their downward revision. It works for a while, and then after a few days, the pictures become blurry and pixelated. They also get the small red circles with question marks inside. I changed the display high resolution and all, but it doesn't seem to help.

    Can anyone help?

When you use the file > place command and select an image, you establish the link to an external file. The photos are not embedded in the InDesign file.

Circles with exclamation mark means that the program has lost track of the location for the original files. You use the links Panel (window > links) and re-create a link button (or in the Panel menu, choose repeat the link...) to connect the external images.

  • broken Pixel problem

When I use cc first Pro 2015 I have weird broken pixels everywhere in the program. Like those of color as almost static. If I click where it disappears. It happens that when I go full screen.

I have determined that it is Adobe Premiere because if I restart my computer and use it for a week without running Adobe Premiere it won't do.

I have the graphics card because I have one that is listed in the requirements on site. What is happening on this fact my screen to do this. It happens on a HD of LG TV to standard address. It cannot have the graphics card in the case of the iMac what happened on third party screens. I can also screenshot it. Here it what it looks like. Once again, if I click anywhere on the screen it goes and comes back from time to time.Screen Shot 2015-09-26 at 4.09.51 PM.png

    Hello

Can you give us more information on what graphics card you have?

According to the guidelines of the screenshot, this glitch form to come when Premiere Pro converter is set to "Mercury Playback Engine Acceleration (CUDA) GPU".

Try changing the rendering engine "The Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration" or "Mercury Playback Engine software only.

Go to the file/project settings/general and change the rendering engine of here.

Press OK and you will get a dialog box in which you must select 'Remove Previews'.

Try these steps and check if it works.

You can also try the update system preferences CUDA.

  • Bought Lightroom 6 (CD installation package), but install immediately hangs on the message 'login required '. I'm on a Mac running Yosemite 10.10.3. Clearly a problem of incompatibility system. What is the solution?

Did not say, but maybe it's obvious the program Adobe Application Manager is the one that fails.

I did not follow through completely with the installation of the trial CC version (which seemed to be the direction that advice me would take-maybe I'm wrong). No question – the installation process of the creative Office Cloud before installing the trial version of the software has solved the problem. I suspected that I have installed something that would connect the process of necessary connection in the process, and of course, when I ran the installer on CD, he started right at the top. I had allowed the installation of the cookies before you install the Office CC, so that might well have been a part of the answer. I'm just surprised that at this point, Adobe had not heard more of this problem and taken measures to put the specific instructions. My system configuration is not uncommon. But thanks to kglad to get started me in the right direction.

  • Pixelation problem when to scale hi-res photos of framing key in Premiere Pro

When creating long zooms on still photos with keyframes, I see a lot of pixelation at the tight end of the zoom.  My scans are super high resolution, 9000 pixels wide.  DVC-PRO-50, shot the film that I'm getting so it is only 720 pixels wide.  I have more than enough resolution in my photos scanned to zoom on a face of a group photo, for example.  But the command "SCALE to the framework" seems to limit the resolution on the photo that Premiere Pro is actually being used.

Is there a better way of scaling the photos?

Should I not be scaling them at all?

Can I make long zoom in After Effects, rather than the first?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

You should not use "Scale image size" for the photos or videos you want to zoom.

"Scale to frame size" converts kind of image is the same size as the sequence.

In preferences/general, there is a box that says "Scale to the size of the image by default". Make sure it is checked before you import your images to the project.

Import your images, and then add it to your sequence. It should now be zoomed much without losing any resolution.

    I hope this helps.

  • Smart object pixelation problems

    Hello

How is it that some logos that I bring in Photoshop as smart air well while some other look pixelated? Is there anything I can do to improve it?

    Thank you!

Select the smart object layer, starting a free transformation (don't change in reality the transformation), in the options bar turn anti-aliasing, then validate the transformation (again, without changing anything, but the anti-aliasing checkbox).
