  Guys,

  I have no chance whatsoever with UCSM 2.0(1t) departure on a Windows 2003 R2 (32-bit) machine: it says "Java detected 1.7, Java 1.6 (or MORE) required.

  The notes say: "the Cisco UCS Manager GUI is a Java application that requires Sun JRE 1.6 or higher.

  So what's the bottom line - will I expect UCSM 2.0 to work with Java 1.7, or not?

  Javea 1.7 is supported on version 2.0 (3) and newer.  2.0 (3) is currently available for download from EAC.

• BDE 2.1.1 Fling Management server does not connect to vCenter

  I have the management server deployed in the environment, the plugin installed successfully and vCenter is connected to the administration via the Web interface of vCenter server. This problem occurs when I go to a data store or add it to a network.

  I get the following (via the GUI or CLI):

  This log shows THAT BDE Server cannot find the node named "vSphere Big Data Extensions - Node Template" model.  When you deploy the BDE Fling, the management server and hadoop-model VM must be deployed in the same folder in, under a pile of vCenter.  Please check and follow the BDE 2.1.1 Fling deployment guide and deploy again.  BTW, you can customize the name of the server VM and the VM model during their deployment and make sure the correct model name together when you deploy the server VM.

  It is a known problem in AIR3.4.

  Here are two solutions for you-

  1. use the latest version of laboratories AIR3.5 (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air3-5.html)

  2. or, if you want it to work with your current configuration, as a solution, please also use Add a finalizer to your DONKEY function and declare in your extension.xml. The finalizer can do nothing, but simply return.

  I used to see from time to time buy now its seem permanent. (usually reload to get rid of this problem)

  I tried to reinstall Java version 7.25 nothing helps.

  Clear the java cache, use direct connect.  No change.

• 8 Java 66 update installation failure

  The update of Java 8 66 Setup does not end. I downloaded the full installer of Java. After you have entered my PW to install, I clear Yahoo option and press to continue. Later popup flashes on the screen and disappears, and then nothing. I never get a success message and the Panel shows old version. I tried to install fresh boot. After searching the Java forums, I did an uninstall of Java and reinstall fails. So now I have nothing.

  Try a reboot.

  Make a backup using Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure that data files can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

  Try to set up another admin user account to see if the same problem persists. If back to my Mac is enabled in system preferences, the guest account will not work. The intention is to see if it is specific to an account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

  Isolate a problem by using a different user account

  If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  Thanks again for your response. Since your last I discovered through my system status (Control Panel), I wrote that my product ID and the Windows 7 activation status not available. So I followed instuctions to help and microsoft support to activate.  Yet once, I got the error code D0000034 as before with the problem of update. However, I was given the opportunity to phone, but received no phone #. I bought the DVD of Windows 7 and installed on the PC that was custom built for me.  On the site Web microsoft help and support, I was asked for the product ID, which according to them is a # 20 numbers.  Not the only one, I have is the product key which is one 25-alpha-numeric.  I tried to enter only and does not pass.  This is why I say that I can pay for help since I did not ' have the product ID.  Maybe it isn't your area of expertise, Irfan, but I was hoping... I re - install windows on last April when I got in trouble and probably did not re - activate? What do you think?  If you can get back on track, I would be very grateful and thank you once again to be a big help!

  This error message occurs when the system could not read and write data to the registry file. The error indicates a problem with the registry.

  Method 1:

  You can run a Checkdisk to see if there are drive errors that can cause this problem.

  Check your hard drive for errors

  Note: When you run the disk check, there is a chance of losing the data that you can take a backup of important data before you run checkdisk.

  Method 2:

  You can also try to boot from a full version of Windows Vista installation disc and try to perform a restore of the system to WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment)

  What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

  When errors have occurred, normally, I can throw RuntimeException or return Status.ABEND. Then OGG would be the error in the log and stop the process.

  The following code works fine when operationAdded() failed (extraction process will report abend, and when extraction of restarting after errors, the operations in the transaction failure would be referred to the Manager).

• Failure of the Java 7 update

  I'm as Win 7 Pro 32 bit slot.

  I currently have installed Java 6, 31 update (build 1.6.0_31 - b05)

  In the past months, Java has indicated that there is an update available.  When I allow it to be updated, it shows and error message:

  Error - update Java (TM)

  Unable to download the required installation files.

  After an attempt to open a window with information indicating that Windows has difficulties with the program and had made adjustments to the version - and the issue would be resolved the next time I ran the Java Update.   It has not solved the problem.

  Any suggestions?

  Problem solved - by logging in on the same computer by using a user admin privileges account, Java installed without fail.

  Usually, I work in a user account that has only the privileges of a Standard user account and Java Update failed on this account setting, even after that he pushed the administrator to authorize the update continue.
