  • Flash Player install hangs at 95%, 10.9 MacOSX (Mavericks)

I followed all the instructions for her completely uninstall Flash Player. I followed instructions on a 'Clean' reinstall FP. I tried to install 10 FP for Mac instead of PS 11. I created a new user account and tried installing FP. all attempts to have the same result - Flash Player reaches 95% and crashes then just forever.

I should mention that this issue arose after a clean installed 10.9 MacOS on a new hard drive with the old data user migrated to old hard drive according to best practices, etc. Is there a Setup log that I can send to any clues as to what is causing failure to install?

I redid all the uninstall/clean reinstall procedure, including spotlight search for almost any file including 'flash' 'player' in the title, deleted everything, rebooted, checked again that all caches, plugins, managers, etc., which had nothing to do with Flash Player have been deleted... once again mounted the following file:

    install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg

    who came from:

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/Mac install_flash_player_11_osx.dmg

and I tried the new installation - same result - crashes at 95%.  I was about to 'hang up' myself, I remembered that some people had had the chance check out the file "Adobe Flash Player.pkg" Installer and just this program installation. I realized that I had tried this before with the Flash Player install downloaded by going to adobe.com-->--> Flash Player downloads, etc., but never found this .pkg file downloaded and mounted .dmg. However, it occurred to me that I had not watched the file in the stand-alone installation program mentioned above. Of course, it's there, I ran - Flash Player installed in a blink of eye, and probably at least 5-6 hours to tackle this problem, I have had success.

    Here's what I did:

1 launched the referenced above and downloaded .dmg file

    2. the mounted volume contains the folder 'Install Adobe Flash Player.app'. I did click right on the application and choose "Show Package content"

    3. I went to: contents-> resources and found the file "Adobe Flash Player.pkg.

    4. I hold the option key pressed and drag to create a copy on my desk.

    5. I double-clicked on the file above on my desk and then just follow the guests to install Flash Player.

It seems to me that it is an Adobe problem they need to fix.

  • I use Windows 7 with a Firefox browser. new flash player update Adobe... now, it blocks my computer!

I use Windows 7 and firefox browser. I was invited to update flash player to the new verion 17. (blah blah). 169. I downloaded the update. installed without a problem but come to find out now, everytime I try to go youtube my videos play but they are extremely glitch, pixelated, then after a bit, my computer crashes everything.

I tried all the suggested site patches i.e. uninstalled and reinstalled flashplayer. Reinstalled a previous version. Reset firefox to delete modules or extensions that I did. Nothing worked!

It is a standard orientation which addresses the most common issues with the Flash Player plugin. I'm sure you've seen some of it before, but just in case:

    (1) If you have any recorders/downloaders who interact with Flash media to ensure that they are as up-to-date as possible, or disable them temporarily.

    (2) turn off hardware acceleration in Firefox and Flash

    (A) in Firefox, uncheck the box here:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > General > "use hardware acceleration when available.

Which takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

    (B) in Flash, right-click in the press and choose settings, then the first mini tab and uncheck the box to use hardware acceleration. More information in this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

    (3) turn off mode protected (Windows Vista and later)

The functionality of the safe_mode of the Flash player plugin has security benefits, but there seem to be some compatibility issues on some systems. There is a new parameter hidden for this:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the flash and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) double-click the preference dom.ipc.plugins.flash.disable - protected mode to change its value from false to true.

It cannot take effect until all the Flash was discharged for a few minutes, or you close Firefox.

    Any improvement?

  • * Please HELP - unable to complete installation of the new flash player...

I've updated my operating system to Mac OS X Mavericks and went on youtube and he told me that my flash player is outdated (SAFARI).  I followed the link to download the new version of flash player, which seems to be 11.9 and the process works very well.  I reached this box...

and I am completely unable to click on anything whatsoever.  When I drag my mouse on one of the three options, they highlight, as well as the button NEXT, but they won't let me click on.  The only way out of the window then is to press Alt + Cmd + Esc to force me to leave the Adobe Flash Player installed.  Please help me understand what is happening?

In addition, some pages (seems like most) Adobe's Web site won't let me not click on anything either, I do a right click on the links, then open them in new tabs to navigate their Web site.

    Thank you in advance!

  • New Flash Player 9.0 puree to the top of my Flex application

    Hi all

Today, I noticed that a new flash player 9 be downloaded ican, so I installed and I wanted to continue with AS3 coding with my Flexbuilder 2.01 (with fix 2).

After the first start of my Flex application, I deeply regret that I have installed the cause of the "latest" flash player doesn´t flash player behave that the old player for Web service calls (or maybe my implementation of Web service calls). My will bring App Flex can´t connect more to the Web service. I have to give a look at what has gone wrong, but I'm really AMUSED that the player has no backward compatibility. This is not a new version of Flash player, its still a version 9.

I guess the new flashplayer is from the SDK in Flexbuilder 2.01 Hotfix 3 and the current BETA version of Flexbuilder 3.

Has anyone else you have same problems with webservice communication after update?

    Best regards
    Kcell

    Hi all

today I found the reason of the accident, that occure when my application calls him Web service works in the new Flash Player 9.0.115).

The reason is that in the function ResultHandler the webservice call it were nested terms "switch" used and missed in two branches "case" a "pause." So the problem could be fixed easily, but I just want to inform people if you have a similar problem, they should try to start the issue with Manager of result/fault 'empty '.
(the old version (9.0.47) seems to be more robust against a 'pause' missing; but for sure to have other leaks)

    kepp both on bending ;)

  • Why does Vista work with adobe flash player and RoboForm?

Why does Vista work with adobe flash player and RoboForm?

    original title: Vista 64-bit

He does.  Even if you ask the wrong way.  It is not Windows Vista which would "work with" other applications, it's other applications that "work with" (or not) Windows Vista.  After all - Windows has no need or the other of these two applications to run, but these two applications need to Windows (or some other applicable/compatible OS) service.

Not only it works with both - but Adobe is finally released with a version 64-bit Flash Player - so you can use it with the version 32-bit and 64-bit Internet Explorer.

RoboForm: http://www.roboform.com/support/manual/roboform; "Requirements. RoboForm works under Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, 7, server systems. Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later is required. All Service Packs and security patches must be installed. "

  • New Flash Player bug

    Hello

There is a big problem when loading data from Web services (.asmx? wsdl) Flash. New Flash player blocks the application in the middle of loading loading data from Web services. I used the WebServiceConnector class to load the data.

I found this problem while checking my application in the latest version of flash player and Flash player version older. Please give me solution for this.

I have attached my code here also. In this fault also does not work. This means that the trigger is not working.

    Associates to the cross-domain features.
I just went through following site and find the solution

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/articles/crossdomain_policy_file_spec.html

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/articles/fplayer9_security_05.html#_Configuring_UR L_Meta-policies

  • Ive installed the new flash player and it will not work.

I recently had my pc infected by many viriuses. my pc has been cleaned by some of the following malwarebytes, avira and macafee. I think that iam in 32-bit windows Explorer. When I looked there is nothing after the ' # ' but it doesn't say "in the level of 128-bit encryption. What can I do?

Hi again, ok. Now since you have McAfee as a paid version, I would like to uninstall Avira or turn it off at least. The rule is to have an anti-virus program, since most of which will cause conflictions. MBAM is ok, as long as it's right on your desktop and you run it when you want.

What we will do is to uninstall the current version of Flash Player, install vs 9, then uninstall vs 9, then install the most recent Flash Player vs which is 10.1.102.64.

To do this, use the administrator account.

Go to this site and download and SAVE the program uninstaller on your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/406/kb406791.html

You page down for Solutions and under Windows in Flash Player 9 and use the Internet Explorer 1.46 MB

Go to this site and download and SAVE the installer to your desktop:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

You will use the Windows, Internet Explorer download EXE to install

Once you have on your desk, using the administrator account, you CLOSE all browser windows.

    Disable McAfee & Avira

Look in your tray (area near the clock) system for instant messengers, yahoo, aol, etc and turn them off.

Your computer, run the program uninstall and when it's finished, Reboot (restart).

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run the Setup from vs 9 and when you're done, restart your computer

Test your browser here and you should be able to see the Flash animation (spin) logo and the Flash Player version must be listed.

    http://www.Adobe.com/software/Flash/about/  Must vs 9

Now, you run the program to uninstall again to uninstall vs 9, when finished, restart your computer

Check and make sure that McAfee & Avira are always disabled.

Run Setup vs 10.1.102.64 and when finished, restart your computer.

Then test your browser and you should have now installed 10.1.102.64 vs.

You may want to print these directions to make it easier to follow.

If you have any questions, let me know.

    Thank you
