Context menu only displays "Briefcase". Menu of files shows only "shortcut". Create a folder button does nothing.  Yet, I can always create directory via mkdir on cmd.exe (thank God for command lines ).  I did 2 system restore goes further every time (the second time in 10 days), but can not get the Explorer's ability to create a new subdirectory.  I scanned the heck out of the machine with half a dozen scanners for virus/malware/rootkit (Microsoft Security Essentials is my antivirus and I use Microsoft Firewall).  I went on a comprehensive register and can not find any key that would block the creation of records.  Any advice?

  "I found a file named ' write.exe" it's just wordpad under another name. I created an icon of office for that file and it works. No stupid useless error message.

• 0 blocks free PTR - cannot create new files on the data store

  We have been experiencing problems trying to power on virtual machines. When attempting to power on virtual machines, we see the error "cannot extend the pagefile from 0 KB to 2097152 KB".

  We checked the .vswp file are created in the folder of the Virtual Machine on the data store. Connection to the ESXi host, we have seen the following in vmkernel.log error message:

  When we turn off a virtual machine, it will release 1 block of PTR and we would be able to on another VM / create the 20 GB file using "dd". Once we reached 0 free blocks of PTR, we are unable to create new files.

  Can anyone give any suggestions on how we may be able to clear the blocks PTR? We have already tried to restart all services of management on all ESXi hosts connected.

  FreeNAS is not running on a virtual machine.

  We solved the problem by finding a lot PTR blocks have been used by many of our models of virtual machine. Remove the disk models solved the problem.

  Hello, I am experienced with Photoshop but I'm new to 3D text in Photoshop.  I type the text and convert it to a form.  When I choose to create new Extrusion of the selected layer I get the dialog, I don't see in tutorials.  It says "you are about to create a 3D layer.  You want to switch to the 3D workspace?  Yes/No, do not display again. "Which one should I use for the 3D text?

  If I choose Yes, all the panels disappear and the content in the tool options bar (Ribbon?) just under the menu bar disappears.  I have to restart Photoshop to get back on the tool options.  What could I do it wrong?

  I just chose 'No' and don't look at back.  I love my workspace, just as it is and doesn't prefer Photoshop to change for me in this case especially.

  You bring up the 3D Panel yourself via the window - 3D.  I think it's a good alternative for the Actions Panel, because I don't have any currently working in the 3D world.

  You'll want to see easily if you are working on 3D are 3D Panel and panel properties, among a few others.

  Regarding return your workspace as you like it...  Note the small switch near the upper right of the main window of Photoshop.  That can be used to select a workspace.  I suggest that you experiment and familiarize yourself with the concept of workspaces.  You can set your own and save it with a name, and that can really be useful.

  What you suggest is possible but it takes software and third-party quality loss.

  Instead, export a QuickTIme movie. If you have a choice of codecs, choose Apple Intermediate Codec. You can save it where you want it-maybe in the movies.

  Then import the movie into FCP as a clip.

I don't know what I did, but I managed to delete/disable my ability to create new folders anywhere on my computer. I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I right click on the desktop, the menu appears, but when I go down to 'create' folders is not yet an option. However, when I open a similar pre-existing record a music or photo foler, the option to create a new folder is there, but the button does not work. Please help me!   You cannot create additional region position placeholders. Why do you think that you need to do?

  Several areas can be assigned to each position in the region, the existing placeholders can be moved, regions may contain subregionsand region controlled by the attributes of the region and/or CSS page layout. These options provide more flexibility for most requirements.
