The question is very clear. Please try what I said.
You connect to the application tier that I see ORACLE_HOME tip to 10.1.2 ORACLE_HOME.
If your installation is user 2. I mean Applmgr and Oracle DB level for the Application layer, respective files set environment.
If it is single-user installation, set file DB APPROX.
Your $ORACLE_HOME should point to DB Oracle Home not 10.1.2. Its should be 11.2.0.
- Once echo $ORACLE_HOME 11.2.0 points. Home page, then give sqlplus "virtue sysdba".
- If you connect to 10.1.2 House, give tnsping DB name and uses user applications to connect.
I can help you to identify the users, if you are still not able to solve.

I think that the system user that you use cannot be in the dba group, so it didn't have the sysdba privilege.
Is this a user/pass @

Since this update was completed, I was unable to get into my computer; It goes through the usual startup routine, then it goes straight to the 'return - sleep' emblem that I usually just click on (when the computer is back to sleep, not a start-up), and the answer I get is "failure to log - on, cannot load user profile user profile Service. Import with datapump when exporting datapump was executed as user SYS

Approximately Schatzung mit BLOCKS method: 52.84 GBNow I have to import (with datapump) user USER01 and export USER02. But I don't know the name of the source database tablespaces.
I want to keep the name of the user (USER01/USER02). That's why I created these users in the target database.
The questions I have are:
-should I start the import by datapump as user SYS?
-Should what settings I use to import users USER01, USER02 and data in the target database? Since I do not know the names of tablespaces

Any help will be appreciated
J.
Hi J.
The questions I have are:
-should I start the import by datapump as user SYS?
No, you need to import with a user in the role of "imp_full_database".
-Should what settings I use to import users USER01, USER02 and data in the target database? Since I don't know the names of the storage spaces in the source database parameter REMAP_TABLESPACE will not help
Well, an idea is to generate you a schema import sqlfile and see in the ddl in what tablespace, it will try to create objects.
Impdp------' / as sysdba------' directory = dumpfile
= = = USER01, USER02 patterns sqlfile For more information, take a look at the import documentation
http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B19306_01/server.102/b14215/dp_import.htm
Hope this helps,
Kind regards

Failure to logon with the user SYS: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
Hello
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production
AMT for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
OS: CentOS 5.5
I can't log in with the user SYS via PL/SQL Developer. I get the message: ORA-01031: insufficient privileges. PL/SQL Developer is installed on Windows 7 Professional. Version of the Oracle Client is 11.2.0.1.0. However, I connect successfully with SYSMAN and SYSTEM.
For those who may wonder if I try to connect 'as sysdba' when I use the SYS user, the answer is YES, I do.
In addition, I think that the name of the tool (PL/SQL Developer) does not matter because I think I'm going to face the same error with any other tool (but I mentioned just in case).
Server side, I have no problem with the SYS user. I can connect via SQLPlus with connect / as sysdba or connect "virtue sysdba" without fault.
The sec_case_sensitive_logon initialization parameter is set to FALSE
SQL > show parameter sensi
VALUE OF TYPE NAME
------------------------------------ ----------- ------------------------------
SEC_CASE_SENSITIVE_LOGON boolean FALSE
I use the local name to connect and client side, I have a tnanames.ora file. The sqlnet.ora file looks like this:
I read in this forum (another thread) on the use of a password file. I created a password file using orapwd this way:SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS) NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH= (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)
where I replaced "a_password" with the SYS password.orapwd file=orapwDB11G2 entries=100 ignorecase=y password=a_password
In fact, I'm not sure that the customer is influenced by the file password anyway because I said to use a local naming.
Clues?
Thank you very much!So your ORACLE_SID is planet but not DB11G2 , second password file must be located in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs location if you want to connect the planet of database/sid and therefore
orapwd file= $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/orapwplanet password=syspass
Then try again.

Hi all
We have 10.2.0.4 on solaris 10.
Currently we have I.T. audit on our environment, and the auditor commented to lock the user sys and system and use a single user with any name (not the name generic oracle) and grant him the privilege of sys and system and use this user for admin purposes. is this true?... is it recommended?
Please notifyHello
I think that this is not a good way to lock SYS.
In addition, if you connect as administrator (root for Unix/linux) operating system on the server and use
Authentication of the BONE and then, you can connect to SYS AS SYSDBA anyway. So, in fact, it is not possible to lock SYS even if you run the following:
ALTER USER SYS ACCOUNT LOCK;
If you want to prevent access on SYS, you must set a password long and complex and
apply the same rule for the admin / root user OS.These passwords must be known very little and well - to identify the people and written nowhere
(in files or scripts).Plus more, you should restrict DBA role to SYS and SYSTEM and remove this powerful role
other Oracle users. Then, you can enable the CHECK in order to control the connection to the session database and,.
create a LOGIN TRIGGER to verify the connection, the workstation, the program end-users
that connect to the database. In 10g, DBConsole EM shows an alert whenever a user is logged on with SYS.
Please find attached, an interesting paper written by Pete Finigan on this topic:
http://www.insight.co.UK/files/presentations/hacking%20and%20securing%20Oracle.PDF
Hope this helps.
Best regards

What is event ID # written in the event log when a user compresses its C:\ By car
Windows XP Pro - SP3
I want to know what entry # and details entry appears in the event log when a user compresses its C:\ By car
There is none. But if you compress ntldr in the process you will certainly get an unambiguous error message when you restart the computer.

XPSp3: Logging disable a user to log on to the other - stop programs?
I have two users on XPSp3. Both are administrator-level. I wanted to disconnect a user and connect to each other and got the warning that unsaved work will be lost.
Is it just open the files that are closed? Done also closed programs or the whe switch you users?
Ed
When you disconnect a user, all programs started by this user have been completed.
However, there is a feature called 'Fast user change' which allows you to switch from one user to another without logging the first user... so all programs that are running with the first user are kept in their current state, while the second user can start and run their own programs. Refer to the following Microsoft KB article:

Please help its file server.
This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)
If you give us a link to the new thread we can point to some resources it
