Unable to synchronize mail on mail app

I use Yahoo on my iPhone 5. For some reason, I can not new messages on my cell phone. Now I get a message that my laptop is unable to synchronize because the account information has been modified. I enter my password and the message goes on to say: ' we can still find settings for * address email is removed from private life. "

I don't know what to do! I have not changed my password or anything else I know.  Please help me. The problem is not with my laptop (HP Envy) my iPhone5.

    I have figured out the problem myself. It was Avast! AntiVirus' Mail Shield that was keeping the app from connecting. Even adding the SSL exclusions to the list didn't work - I had to disable the Mail Shield entirely.

  • Windows Mail App on my new computer laptop
