  Unfortunately, this is not how Lightroom works. Synchronization of the cloud is able to bring specific collections that you choose to sync via the cloud, on your mobile device (phone, Tablet) running LR Mobile. It not sync your catalog to a second computer.

  There is a way to achieve the desired result, but it is an intermediate to advanced process and it involves the use of intelligent insights and synchronization of the catalog itself with smart insights using a third party service such as Google Drive or Dropbox.   I just took my Blackberry last week and now in train to synchronize my contacts and have problems. I put the desktop software to replace the device to Outlook. That's why destroy all contacts on the device.

  All my contacts are sorted the name, first name. By examining the details of the synchronization (before it actually applies), I see that all the contacts on the camera original should be deleted (it's good!). But I find that some of the contacts are ignored and will not be added. In addition, some family names are now given names, and vice versa. When I have a John & Cathy'sname and a surname of Jones (for example), John is added as the first name, & is added in the middle and Jones is added under the family name. Nothing after the & is ignored.

  Is there a solution to this problem of synchronization? Are there better synchronisation software out there?

  In talking with the Blackberry expert at the local Verizon store, I find the problem and the solution in the following way:

  Using the example "John and Cathy Jones '... The sync software looks at the name of Outlook in the format of "first-name vacuum vacuum-name last-name '. So when white was found during the synchronization, it assumes the & is the name of way and he picks up the last characters to the family name. I had to fix all my names "JohnCathy Jones" or "John & Cathy Jones". Two of these formats properly synchronized. However, the synchronization software does not care what is in the field of 'Society' Outlook, all characters are synchronized.

  Lightroom Mobile syncs one computer to multiple mobile devices.

  The easiest way (not prettier) synchronization of multiple computers is to catalog and images on an external drive and move the drive from one computer to another as needed.

  Go to www.blackberry.com/desktop to get the software and then try to perform the synchronization.

• Old Palm Vx, synchronization with Palm Desktop

  I try an old Palm Vx synchronization with Palm Desktop. But the Hotsync does not work as expected. After press the SYNCHRONIZATION button in the cradle the process starts with databases "Restore", then with the synchronization.

  When the process is finished the Palm VX. displays a RESTART Message. After that I do this restart I can not use my Palm more. The Palm is displaying the 'settings', but I don't know why. I can not type of the any of buttons, for example the Home button and looks like the Graffiti-Pad is unresolved. I only can do, it's only a hard reset with lost all data. After that, I do a hotsync and the game begins with RESTART and displaying the "settings."

  The problem is solved. I installed ReDigi. This little program displays the calibration screen after each reboot hot so I could re - calibrate the digitizer and the Palm works for me once again.

  I had a Palm T5 for 3 years now, I've had recently updated computer and since then I can not synchronize palm desktop use. The entire synchronization process starts, but then it does not appear on my palm handheld. Also, I've never used outlook to sync, but for some reason, as my Palm Desktop info is recently visible in my outlook as well. I prefer palm desktop as I have color coded my info into categories. All the news that has recently been also transferred to outlook is not categorised.

  First try to switch the pipes to Palm Desktop. (Start/programs or all programs/Palm/conduit PIM Sync / Sync with Palm Desktop) or insert the CD and select the change synchronization method.

  What happens when you synchronize? You say that nothing shows up on the device, do you mean that it shows no progress? The hotsync application open?

  I recently installed Outlook on my PC and was then given the option to sync my Treo to Outlook. I didn't think it would mean that it would be no longer synchronized to my Palm Desktop.   If you use a newer version of Palm Desktop, you can change the way that you want to synchronize easily. On your PC, go to start > programs > Palm > PIM led Sync > sync with Palm Desktop.

  All your data will not be synchronized for Palm Desktop. If you do not have this feature, you can download and install a new version of Palm Desktop by going to www.palm.com and click support.
