Unable to update my web site, multi versions seem to be posted. The root folders still continue and...

Your site is not defined correctly in DW.  You should NEVER see your remote site root directory in your local files Panel.   It must be set in the settings of your remote server with your FTP credentials. See screenshot below.

(I'm currently completely embarrassed that I even had to ask this question!)

Yes CFML = ColdFusion Markup Language, which may be part of the .cfm, cfc, and cfr files and other if you care about monkey with default file extensions.

Yes ColdFusion compiles CFML in the code of JavaByte, until the file is executed.  This is done in a just-in-time"compilation method, i.e. when the file is requested by the web server (IIS, Apache, etc.), ColdFusion compile this file, run the compiled code and send the results on the web server.  The time necessary to compile files can a proformance on servers busy, very common problem.  There are options for ColdFusion to save compiled versions so that he doesn't have to make this compilation every time.  You can also configure if ColdFusion checks the date and time of the file compiled with the date-time of the source CFML file to see if the source is newer or not and so if it needs to be recompiled.

If clearing the cache didn't cause your changes to take effect, you will need to describe more about your installation.  This isn't a place where ColdFusion has problems, it works as advertised.

  • Error number: 8DDD0020 from the Windows Update Catalog WEB SITE

Error number: 8DDD0020 the Windows Update Catalog WEB site.

This clean install Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.

I would like to stress that this is not a malfunction of Windows Update. This works well for me.

It's Web Site (http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx), which, at the entrance, he correctly opens and gives error 8DDD0020.

I tried various fixes but again, they were for Windows Update, which continues to work well and is not the problem.

Also be redirected to SmartShopping.com with offers for fix.

MS Security essentials and MS analysis tool fails to find the problems. Never installed Norton.

Have reset IE - 11 and re-record all the DLLs of Windows Update twice.

    Please advice, thank you.

According to Apple eBooks aren't yet available > > I can buy on the iTunes Store in my country?

Simply because Apple makes the promotion of iBooks does not necessarily that they are available in all locations.

    Sorry!

Thank you for your help, but I thought about it.  It was very simple & silly, something I would have thought from the outset. I had to add permissions to the pop-up blocker. Silly me had a "blonde moment"... no offense to blondes, just using the cliché. Laughing out loud!!

  • How is it difficult to update a Web site with mobile platforms, but also office?

I just updated my CC from Adobe for photographers to the full version of CC for most to get Muse. I thought it was completely adaptable to mobile devices. Now I find that that is not necessarily true. It is true that I have to run three different platforms for mobile comparability? If this is true can I update all three, each time I change or add to my Web site? How is it hard to do this?

Also, I read somewhere that if it is not hosted at Adobe, some of the Add-ons like forms and articles may not work. Is this correct?

    Thanks for any help,

    Linda

Cross-platform support depends on what models / themes you use and their associated CSS and widgets. Not everything works everywhere and it is something you have to live with, has been for example support for JavaScript on mobile devices is usually a pain in the rear. Otherwise you get what you pay for - if you need more forms or other items, you will need to spend your limited options included in MU and look around. But I really don't see the issue. You can have anything from blogs to forums for free these days, you might just live with the fact that then you would not at all use Muse to manage and add content.

  • Unable to access a Web site from a single computer.

I can't access a website, I used regularly - www.chainreactioncycles.com--de this PC under XP SP3.  I get an error "Internet Explorer cannot display the website".  The problem is also in Chrome (Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.chainreactioncycles.com) and Firefox (the connection has expired).

Other PC and Android devices on the same home network work fine, so it seems not to be a Web site problem or the DNS server.  I tried a few reboots and cleared out the local DNS cache with "ipconfig/flushdns" but the problem remains.

    Any suggestions?

It could be related to firewall. Try disabling the firewall to test.

Otherwise, open a command prompt and type: netsh winsock reset and press ENTER.

Then restart and then try again.
