Uninstall unnecessary programs
I inherited a Windows 7 PC at work and some things don't work well, and we try to find bad programs and uninstall them or delete them. I went through the list of programs and uninstalled that watched the bad and done and all virus scan, but still have some problems.
What program do you recommend that I use to find crapware on Windows 7? The programs may not necessarily malicious, it's just * problems.
+ 1 when using a PC given, it is often better to reinstall Windows, if you have a disk, or
use the recovery partition if your machine is a Dell OEM mfg. HP (they love their)
bloatware).
It is difficult enough that you know without the unknown unknowns someone troubleshooting
otherwise left TAPI in the system.
You may be able to clean it well.
Current installation is not the main problem with bloatware. There is more to do with it, if she will load in the
background and doing some unnecessary stuff.
I would first of all defragment the HARD drive and run the Windows Disk Cleanup.
Then uninstall any programs that you don't need via programs and features.
If you don't know what it is, let him.
Restart and Defrag again
-You can also stop the software from loading when you start in Windows via System Configuration .
[Type - msconfig - the command in run or start menu search bar.]
When the System Configuration opens go to the Startup tab and uncheck the box next to all
software programs and anything else that you don't need to have loading with Windows.
but don't stop something if you don't know what it is. Reset.
CCleaner can also be a useful tool for cleaning your machine, but do not use the
Registry Cleaner (or any other registry cleaner) and do a little attention to what CCleaner deletes.
Create a system restore point before you allow CCleaner to do it's thing is a good idea.
Free download CCleaner - optimization of the PC and cleaning-
"Note that a lot of PC: optimize" or to speed up the software, are false, and some can be difficult
to remove it, amounting to spyware/trogan.
More to run a registry cleaner as well, and many ask money before setting the trillion questions
you machine a supposedly.

You can not get rid of IE but nothing says you have to use it, either. If your computer is slow, here are some possible reasons. On a Windows machine, #2 should really be #1.
1. computer has not been maintained - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Maintenance
2. the computer is infected with the malware - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware
3. the disk is too full. Remove useless stuff, uninstall unused programs. Do not forget to save!
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Backing_Up4. flaky third party software. Toolbars and modules are particularly guilty in this area. Uninstall toolbars (Google, Yahoo, ISP brand, etc) and look at what modules are in use in your browser (s).
5. computer has too many unnecessary programs/processes running in the background. Manage your Startup:
For XP - How to troubleshoot using the Msconfig in Windows XP utility - http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310560
The free Autoruns program is very useful for managing your Startup - http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/default.mspxFor Vista/Windows7 - Start Orb > Search box > type: msconfig and when it appears in the results area above, right-click and choose 'run as administrator '. Autoruns is also very useful.
6. the user runs an inflated/invasive such as Norton and McAfee antivirus program. Replace it with a better program. I recommend NOD32 (commercial) or Avast (free). Avira is also good, but the free version has an unpleasant reminder screen (Google for instructions on how to disable it). The user can also run several real-time antivirus/firewall/security programs.
7. the user has installed new programs that are processor and/or memory-intensive (Photoshop, AutoCAD, Mathmatica or similar) and does not have the power of the equipment.
8 drive fails and is in PIO Mode. It's very much slow (like being in 1985). See Hans-Georg Michna here information - http://winhlp.com/?q=node/10
In addition to the above, see also http://miekiemoes.blogspot.com/2008/02/help-my-computer-is-slow.html
Note: If the computer has always been slow, in addition to the above user may have bought a machine with a less powerful processor and not enough RAM (memory). The normal use of the computer, 512 MB to 1 GB is sufficient for XP; Vista should have a minimum of 2 GB; Windows 7 is less demanding than Vista, but the minimum of 2 GB should also be used.

Remove unnecessary programs in CS6 will not affect the other programs of the suite? I think to delete again, After Effects, Audition, and first Pro, I don't see myself ever using these programs, and I have little space on my computer.
You can uninstall applications CS6 who donot you use. This does not affect the functionality of other installed products that are part of the same suite.

Satellite L350 - no sound after uninstalling some programs
Hello
I just bought a Satellite L350 and I started uninstalling some programs.
Since then, I have more no sond.
I guess I uninstalled too much and I would like to know the program I have to reinstall and where I can find it.Thanks fo your answers!
Hello
Why you n t use the Restore tool of the Windows system that would help you to define the operating system back to the point of time at the beginning?
I guess you deleted the sound/sound driver software and the System Restore tool should help you recover this software.
Go to start - all programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore
Then, select choose a different restore point. A choice, a restore point dialog box appears. Choose a restore point and click Next.Check it!

How do I uninstall the program "Utilities" since the Satellite A210
How can I uninstall the program "Utilities" since the Satellite A210. In Control Panel I can uninstall the program "Value Package" but not "utilities".
With the A210 I can't work with the FN keys and on a German Toshiba support website I found this information:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB0402UR0000R01DE.htmSo I'll try this installation sequence:
-Chipset utility
-Display driver
-Toshiba value added package V1.2.40
-Technical support utility Flash Cards for Satellite L500 (see this thread, why I want to do):
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=46135&TSTART=7
-V1.0.25.5C Toshiba-Utilities
and no doubt
-Installation of V2.00.09 equipmentI hope that the FN keys will work after this installation sequence.

I can't uninstall a program from my laptop HP Pavillian?
Well, I want to uninstall this program Emusic Manager to my laptop but cannot. I tried like 5 times, but nothing happens. I finally use the Task Manager to click out. And Yes, I tried using programs to remove this program too. Have you ever had this problem with Emusic? And can you help me please? It is a new laptop, I just it 2 months ago so I won't have any problems with it!
If you have nothing nice to say then keep your mouth shut!Hello Cuddleboo45. I understand that you are having problems uninstalling a specific program called emusic. Is this correct?
That emusic can be a piece of adware by Symantec, which probably explains why you are having problems removing it. However, there are also legitimate software named Emusic, so I can't be certain of that.
I have a few suggestions to remove the software. The first is to try to remove it from safe mode. Follow these steps to enter the mode on your machine safe. Once you're in safe mode, you'll want to try to uninstall the software just as usual (from the control panel).
If this does not work you can try to use a spyware/adware removal tool to solve the problem. I recommend using either Spybot Search and Destroy or Malwarebytes. Install one of these programs (but not both!) and run it in safe mode.
Let me know if one of these solves the problem. If these solutions do not work, I'll give you the next steps to try. Have a great day!
