Update 2.6 to AIR descriptor

Is there an update for AIR 2.6 descriptor yet? I tried this:

" < day xmlns =" http://ns.Adobe.com/air/framework/update/description/2.6 ">

but it gives me this error:

Update failed. Please try again later.  [update unknown descriptor namespace]

Hello

Change of http://ns.adobe.com/air/framework/update/description/1.0 "> is ok."

The version of the XML document without having to match the version of AIR.

Thank you

  • How is automatically update works in the AIR 2.5?

    Hello

We are about to deploy the runtime Adobe AIR 2.5 in our Organization.

To do this, we use the following command line

    AdobeAIRInstaller.exe - silent - eulaAccepted

It works very well. But I don't know how to disable the automatic updates.

When you read the Adobe AIR configuration guide, http://help.adobe.com/en_US/air/admin/WS485a42d56cd1964167ea49bd124ef17d52a-7ff5.html it says I should create the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\AIR\UpdateDisabled registry key and set it to 1.

But when I run the AIR SettingsManager application after I put this registry key, it is said that the automatic updates are enabled.

And if I chose to disable the automatic updates of the tool creates the file %APPDATA%\Adobe\AIR\updateDisabled.

How can I make sure that the automatic updates are disabled for all users on all computers we deploy the runtime Adobe AIR 2.5 for?

Since we have an enterprise deployment is not really an option to ask each user to run the class SettingsManager AIR whenever they were able to connect a new computer

    Best regards Erik

    Hi Erik,

The HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\AIR\UpdateDisabled parameter to 1 will disable TIME updates for all users.  Add the %APPDATA%\Adobe\AIR\updateDisabled file will disable the updates on a PER-user basis.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris

  • Update to iOS by air

So I currently have several users who have ipads in which monitor us and block down and can pass only by air.

My question is how does the upgrade of the Air installation?

For example, if the X iPad iOS 7.2.1 but we are invited to install iOS 9.3.2,and by air how would installation progress? Would this go directly to iOS 9.3.2 and Miss all the iOS 8 and minor or would the air installation, install each minor and major upgrade up to 9.3.2 iOS iOS

I hope that makes sense. I searched the internet and I can't find answers.

Yes, it just goes straight to the latest version of iOS...

  • Apps updates not (iPad 2 Air)

Recently (past week or almost), I noticed a problem with the update of the applications on my iPad. The same day Apps on my iPhone without a problem.

If I go to the App Store on the iPad, I can see pending updates, but when I click on update on any of them, it just shows the circle of progress for a few seconds and goes back to the update button. This happens for all applications in the list and is not limited to a single application. I also tried this on cell phones and multiple wi - fi connections, then I am satisfied it is not associated with connectivity.

Here's what I've tried so far:

-Closing and reopening of the App Store (not just by pressing the home button)

    -Restart the iPad

-Force turn back on the iPad

-Changing the settings of the App Store around automatic downloads

-Updated to the latest version of iOS (9.3.1)

The only other thing I read is to restore the iPad to factory settings, but I only want that as absolute final solution. Any other suggestions, please?

Have you tried reseting Network Settings? (Settings > general > reset > network settings) You won't lose data if you just reset the network settings.  You will need to log in to your wifi.

    See you soon,.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to get Documents to go update NOT OVER THE AIR

I should add to the above that you may need to register with DataViz in order to access the download area (I don't know because I signed up at the beginning of this process).

On persistence with DataViz they sent me another link with instructions, these instructions used the installer of the application (DeskTop Manager), but the instructions included requirements to remove the DeskTop Manager D2G version (obviously is not possible to speak to the support of BB).

Finally further discussions with BB this morning had it works.  The trick is before you try to install the note above .zip file, remove your device D2G (options/adv. options/applications select D2G, and select Remove from the menu button). Then worked the rest of the instructions above.  So the above instructions will work with Windoze or Mac, and you don't need DeskTop Manager or Pocket Mac, just a card for your phone.

Versions of descriptor bolded appl Post edited by: DonMitchinson

Update - don't know if it's a bug, faulty design, installation problem or my misunderstanding.

I managed to do it working first changing that my Flex library to 4.5.0 - still did not work with current

App and update files mxml by using "2.6" for their versions of namespace. But I did at least

get the error number 16815 - indicating an error in the namespace version update of popup.

Leaving my namespace application version to "2.6" and by changing the "2.5" updated version... bingo!

I got my new autiomatically installed update.

Is it so it is supposed to work - or my runtimes are mixed?

It even will work using the Flex SDK 4.5.1? I'll soon find out

    Hope this helps others.

  • Update Flash Builder 4.5 Application SDK 2.6 automatic fails

I developed some applications using Flex Builder 3 and have recently started using the Flash Builder 4.5 for my air applications-applications development. ApplicationUpdaterUI worked well in FB3, but now, in FB4.5, it fails with:

  • AIR 2.6 SDK: Error APKPackager.setDebugHost

I had no problem at all to launch my AIR Android app on my Samsung Vibrant phone.

However, I just downloaded installed the new AIR 2.6 SDK, updated my 2.6 application descriptor and can test without a problem on the desktop. However, try to run or debug on my phone is used the following error:

An internal error occurred during: "launch Rhuz - Mobile."

    com.adobe.air.apk.APKPackager.setDebugHost (Ljava/lang/String ;) V

If I have my compiler settings go back to 2.5 and return the descriptor, I always test on a desk and telephone.  The question appears with the 2.6 SDK.

Google is no help at all, so I'm him giving a shot here.  I'm running Flash Builder Burrito on Win 7 x 64.

FB 4.0.1 does not support the development of mobile applications. If you want to create AIR applications for the Android platform, FB Burrito Preview Release is practically the only option until the final product, which supports AIR SDK 2.6, is out.

Another option is to build your application using Burrito and package output swf and active with the AIR SDK 2.6 command line tools.
