  Hello

  There are two linux servers (RedHat 4 Enterprise edition) installed on Oracle 10.2.0.4 11.5.10.2 ebs running db.

  The first Linux Server ("the source system") is needed to update the whole system ebs-

  the database (created paintings customized tables system, lines remaining to them, db routines, etc)

  and demand (new forms, existing forms but updated, et.c.) -l' other Linux system

  ("the destination system"). In other words, it is necessary for one-time synchronization.

  I think full and any export of import with respect to the database and a simple copy of the entire

  Directory of the application (.fmb, .pll, e.t.c. .htm files) is a solution.

• Oracle EBS 12.1 cloning vs EBS DB update

  Hi friends,

  Yesterday my project architect asked me to apply the patches in some test environments.

  As part of the prerequisites, I asked ad_applied_patches. I found that all the patches are apllied for test environments.

  I know about cloning. If clone us some environments, so all patches were applied in this environment will be available in the target environment.

  But my architect said that databases only EBS are current production, no application not cloned layer. Therefore, apply patches in any test environment.

  I don't get what he says.

  We can update the EBS database, but

  Is that it will work with existing application layer?

  Is that we need to apply the patches in the test environment?

  Could someone please clarify my doubts.

  If you do a refresh of the production database, you will need to apply the patches in the test environment, if the patches are not applied on the production.

• After upgrade to Java 7 for R12.1.3 EBS, workflow mailer will remain stable

  I've updated our EBS to use Java 7.67 recently Java 6.35.  Immediately when you start the sender of workflow, I see errors in the log mailer as follows:

  I made the update of Java 7 on 2 systems development with no problem and works of mailer very well.  The same process was followed on the production and I'm not having other problems with Java 7 I know.

  Our envelope is not using IMAP and does not use SSL for email traffic, so I do not understand why an SSL error is thrown in this case.  I've implemented all web server certificates correctly in the file cacerts JDK on the middle layer of web services.  The certificates are also valid in the oracle portfolio for $INST_TOP/certs/Apache and $INST_TOP/certs/opmn Web services mid range.  I have the same ORACLE Wallet in the directory ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/wallet $ on the base of data/simultaneous Manager layer.

  The same portfolios Oracle either present in $INST_TOP/certs/Apache and $INST_TOP/certs/opmn to the base data/simultaneous Manager layer.  We have SSL running before you implement Java 7 and portfolios were not necessary in those places.

  I have determined the cause of the failure.  I had to copy the JDK keystore cacerts on the server of CCMS/database layer and turn concurrent managers.  It was something I had considered doing before the original thread was posted here.  But I couldn't reconcile the fact that I don't have to make it in our staging environment for the mailer.  Also the fact that he was not on a SSL handshake when SSL is not applied in our mailer configuration.

  I used a self-signed certificates in our staging environment and I can only assume that it worked because the default cacerts JDK files have what they need to work properly with self-signed certificates.  Once the JDK keystore was in place and given mailer running stopped PKIX error path of construction.  I saw a connection refused message that disappeared when concurrent managers have been restarted.

  This is a proper resolution to the issue.  Thanks Hussein for his comments.

  workflow services are running. I checked mail book of operating system level.

  After Testmailer, questioned the wf_notifications where the mail_status shows that "MAIL", after awhile it becomes "NULL".

  I was approaching the value of preferences and value attributed properly to the user.

  Why the value of mail_status is changing with the value NULL of MAIL? How to solve the problems more far.

• How to fit in window, YES?

  Hi all

  I've updated our ebs 11i 9i database to GR 11, 2.

  I'm connected to a remote host VMbox Window7 and comments console linux OS via teamviewer. This makes the small console and screen YES go in there.

  Therefore, I don't see the buttons below as PREV, NEXT, and CANCEL. Now I'm stuck with my upgrade

  Can you help me how to solve this small console window? With a larger screen to YES in there?

  

  Note that I can drag the screen YES right, left and down. But I can't drag it to the top so I can see the button NEXT

  If you have ssh connection on Port 22 to this server, you need not get any open port. You can use the tunnel using Putty session for VNC traffic to port 22 transport

  12.1.3 is basically Patch ORS (Update Pack version). Some examples of packs of update version EBS (RUP), EBS 12.0.2, 12.0.3, 12.0.4, 12.0.5, 12.0.6, 12.1.2 12.1.3

  Don't panic if your the hotfix log file is huge in size. Just open the log file in a VI editor and run the commands one by one below:

  1. ': the value of ic' and press ENTER.
  2. press ESC and ' / error "press ENTER.
  3. press ESC and ' / failed "press ENTER.

  The above commands must be executed without the comma. It will all show the presence of 'Error' and 'Down' or it's in the PSAP or small case.

  Now the answer to your second question is Yes, you're already at the level of the code required. By code level this file is refers to the level of patch-set. It's a good idea to generate a release of the "patchset.sh" file before patching activity planning. This patchset.sh can be downloaded from the website of Metalink and easy to perform.

• Some sequences lost after upgrade to 12.1.3

  We update our EBS 11.0.3 to 12.1.3, purpose, we find a few "BNE" sequences are lost.
  for example "BNE_ATTRIBUTE_S".
  We improve ebs step is:
  1 upgrade 11.0.3 to 11.5.10.2
  2 upgrade 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.1
  3 upgrade 12.1.1 to 12.1.3
  We can't find "BNE_ATTRIBUTE_S" in all versions of the EBS.

  I've updated 11i EBS 10.2.0.3 for 11.1.0.7 database.
  
  Prior to upgradation all invalid objects have been compiled, and there is no invalid object
  After upgradation I 329 invalid objects, I tried the script utlrp.sql running but no luck, they are still non valid and County remains the same. Please can someone guide me to this point.

  3. It is the Java software that comes with the operating system. It is not used by EBS.
     JDK 7 is the version the most recent can be used by the application and database layers.
     JRE 8 can be used with the client tier.
