  When I try to update my windows vista family premium 32-bit OS to sp2 it says error code 800f081f. I tried installing stand-alone, all trouble shooting steps (anti virus - dye, with some Member States of the tools and c) recommended by the ms tech support guy, but I am not able to solve it, my laptop is dell 1545.

  Start by putting your system in a clean boot State.
  Run the disk error checking
  Run System File Checker
  Run the System Update tool
