  WinDVD WinDVD Creator applications are part of the recovery image and may not be downloaded or installed separately.

  You can also use other applications to watch DVDs like PowerDVD or something similar. I suppose your option of Windows isn't MCE and in this way, you need other applications to watch TV. I'm not familiar with TV tuner built in Japanese units, but I heard that Japanese units have TV tuner that can be used all over the world.

• Just updated for Player 11.0 and now I can't open PDF files directly from emails.  Is this normal?

  Back to your question: I checked the Qosmio specification and there is that your device needs to follow the described parts:
  Power adapter - PA2521E-2ACA or PA2521U-2ACA (90W)
  Battery - PA3285U

  I put t know in which country you live but if there is no Toshiba service partner you can order directly by them. Another way to check if you can find some offereor online in your country where you can order the parts you need. I'm sure you can find some not Toshiba universal AC adapt, but I prefer the use of original parts.

• Qosmio F10 - the Qosmio player Partition Recovery

  I have a Qosmio F10. He had the motherboard factory upgrade, RAM max, and a new 160 GB Samsung HARD drive mounted. So far so good. I've recently updated to Win7 and it was OK, once the drivers have been found, but I couldn't reinstall the Qosmio Player because apparently he found too little space.

  Qosmioplayer is small application based on Linux, and according to the instructions of Toshiba s, must be installed as a first step, before you install the operating system. I m not 100% sure, but about 200 MB of free space on the HARD drive is required for installation of Qosmioplayer.
  It works perfectly when you use original Qosmioplayer and recovery disks but I put t know how it will work when you try to use your own image.

  I hope that someone else has the same model of laptop and solution for this.

  Have you checked if there is any description how to upgrade the utilities?

  I think that if you have not received any operating instructions how to use the update of the Tools CD, you should ask the guy to service for such documents.

  In my opinion, the update of the tools is necessary because the new material and new chipset was installed and in this case the old drivers or utilities would not work.

  As far as I know what you are trying to install is just a patch and it can be installed if the player of origin in the full version is already installed on your machine.
  Are you using the original version of Windows (recovery image) with your Qosmio or maybe your own version of the OS?

  Hi, I just bought my Qosmio F10-101 & I have two questions:

  1 - hard drive (60 GB) is a player, I need to divide it into 2 or more drives & keep back the preinstalled software (what are the exact steps?, I keep all the factory settings?).

  2. the models that include a television tuner weren't available when I bought my laptop, if I get the F10-101, is it possible to add a TV tuner? the performance will be ok or it will be affected because it is not built in from the beginning?

  You can use a program like partition magic that can partition the drive into multiple separate disks (for example C: D: etc..) It is installed in the windows operating system and he can do the job without losing existing data on your disk.
