  If load packs was a terrible thing, Apple could have made their own. Make sure your phone is fully charged, the charging pack is not yet electric pumping in battery - this may cause the battery and the phone a lot of problems. To make sure that the charging pack is not overcharging of the battery, disconnect the charger pack when the phone 100% and plug it back when the phone is about 5%, or any low number where you'd normally charge your phone. If you know the charge pack not electric pump in the phone while it is fully loaded, then there is no need to worry.

  Thought I would let you know that I've finally sorted this! :)

  In another forum I read a post from someone who had a similar problem and solved it by uninstalling the "failures" updated, restart the PC and then re-run the update. It worked! It had not occurred to me to try what I've assumed that 'impossible' meant that they had not installed at all, not that they didn't had simply not installed correctly and must have become corrupt.

  I hope this will help someone else who has the same problem, I've had!

  I can't tell you which drivers necessary for what you want to do, but the best way to get them is to install ThinkVantage System Update.  Run it and it will present all the appropriate drivers for the download and installation.

  You can review the details of each before you download and decide which ones you want.  Only, check the box for those that you want and let TVSU download and install to a slap.

  [edit] It is a pure opionion, based on nothing else than my preference: I'd rather live with the installation of Lenovo for awhile and see what I like - and then uninstall the stuff I have not.   IMNSHO, the initial indigestion is not that bad on a ThinkPad.  OTOH, depending on the size of the SSD, a clean installation may be the way to go.
