• document bookmarks (and perhaps others) does not update in the profile folder

  As part of my Firefox profile place so that I could support up to Mozy, I discovered that the Firefox document that contains my favorite, located in C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\779klznm.default, is not up-to-date. Nor is the Firefox containing bookmarks located in C:\Documents and Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.s9s Settings\Application up-to-date.
  When my browser is open, the bookmarks that I see when I click on the bookmarks are updated. Why that doesn't appear in my profile? And, if my favorites are not up-to-date in my profile, I wonder what else is not up-to-date, such as my search engines, modules, etc.
  I also tried to save in my library of favorites, but backups come on on my desk in JSON format.

  Can someone please tell me what to do to make sure that all my Firefox settings are up-to-date in my profile?

  Correct at the time.

• When I turn on my computer I get errors on Windows Update.dll and Conduit update\conduitupdt32.dll profile

  It is full error:

  1. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users Application Profile Update.dll load error.  The specified module could not be found.

  2 error loading C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Conduit Update\Conduitupdt32.dll HP_Owner.  The specified module could not be found.

  I use Windows XP Home Edition for my OS.

  Check if the files are in the default location of C:\windows\system32\ProfileUpdate.dll.

  You can also try to re - register the .dll file.
  Go to start/run.
  Then type regsvr32 Windows profile Update.dll.

  Must return, command has completed successfully.

  Ditto for the conduitupdt32.dll.

• Updates corrupt user profile

  After you have installed the latest important updates (published 08/13/2013-see below) and then restart, I was unable to log-in to my profile. I received the following message on the login screen: "the user profile Service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded. Rather than trying to fix the registry as described in 'support.microsoft.com/kb/947215', I restored the system to a point just before the installation of these updates in Mode without failure. I can now log in normally. I would like to install these updates (published 08/13/2013), but do not want to corrupt my user profile, what is my best course of action at this time so that my operating system is up to date?

  Thanks for your suggestion. I installed one at a time, restarting after each of them (tedious). However, this method was successful.

• BIOS update - save the current BIOS first?

  I'm of the Canada. Don't know why he brought me to the American site to ask questions... fail.

  But anyawys, I have a SONY VAIO laptop, which currently has some bugs (shading on the random display).

  My VAIO Update program warned me that there was an update of the BIOS available that could solve the problem.

  Instructions on how to update the BIOS were pretty * straight forward, and did not mention the current BIOS must be saved in case of installation errors. However, when I Google searched, many websites have mentioned that it is very important to backup the current BIOS and needs to be done (which I don't know how to do). Now I'm confused because the SONY Web site mentioned at all that I have to save anything. I also wonder if the other stuff on my computer should be backed up before upgrading? Like photos, documents, etc.? I have not immediately an external hard drive. If anyone can help me with this, it would be great. Thank you.

  I'm sorry but there is no software that can create a current backup of the BIOS on our Web site.  Because you are dealing with the BIOS, it is strongly recommended that you back up your data in case where... If you do not have an external hard drive, use a USB flash drive or save it to disk...

  In my Nikon file I have 136 profile with an extension of the PCL files, then look here (or the equivalent of package if on a Mac):

  I recently discovered that our host ESX power profile balanced value.  This contradicts us defining the strategy of power inside the bios on a maximum performance and in my opinion, is causing performance within our host issues.

  Unfortuanlity, it has not been discovered at first and now I have several esx host that requires the updated profile to high performance.

  I found that the policy is defined in VMware.Vim.HostPowerPolicy.

  If you use PHP/MySQL then all you need to do is:

  1. Create a page that you want to profile of members that can be displayed on.
  2. Create a Recordset by using the 'simple' mode.
  3. Then use the drop-down filter to select column "user_email" name (Note: the column that you use to store the users email in)
  4. Faire « = »
  5. "session Variable" and in the text of the field next to this guy: MM_Username

  So he has to appear in the menu of Recordset like this:

  (Remember to create the recordset is the same that I described above. This is required for restricted pages as associate user profile)

  Explanation of the above process is that when you create a login with the Dreamweaver "Log In User" page, DreamWeaver creates code view, this:

  Declare two session variables and assign them
  $_SESSION ['MM_Username"] = $loginUsername;
  $_SESSION ["MM_UserGroup"] = $loginStrGroup;

  • Then "MM_Username" is required to be the "Variable de Session" in each restricted page that wear on the profile of the user connected.
  • The page must be limited to a ' Variable de Session ' to exist.
  • And of course, a "logout" button is nice allow the user to disconnect.

  This is the same installation folder for Camera Raw and Lightroom (i.e., a .dcp installed in the folder you have described will be readable by the CR and LR).
