Upgrade Ram on a Netbook NB200 - 00L
I gave to my two daughters a Netbook Toshiba NB200 - 00L. Both came loaded with Windows 7 Starter. If I just upgrade to Windows Home Premium, it will slow down computers. I was told that the maximum ram that can take netbooks is 1gig. However, I keep seeing that people are upgraded to 2gigs. I want to upgrade the ram so that Windows Home Premium will work better. Can someone enlighten me on this subject. Upgrading ram Home Premium support will be more effective? Also, is anyone Home Premium running on their netbooks without upgrading, and it is really slow? Thank you
AFAIK NB200 can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. Therefore, you can check the specs on the Toshiba site!
I m not NB200 owner but I improved my other laptops equipped with modules from Kingston. I've never had a problem with these modules. They always run stable and don t make problems.
I recently bought the Ideapad for United, but it is very very slow and I wanted to give him a little boost by maxing out the ram
Below you will find the real specs of the laptop that I can not find any slot for the actual model of netbook
also, after doing some research on different forums, I think this ram should be compatiable
I was wondering if someone could confirm this, and the max of ram for this netbook is 2 GIG?
Also note that the processor is coming as N475 under windows

do you, you insert the RAM sticks before or after the flash bios update? try to remove/replace the memory first.
If it doesn't work, try this:
Press windows + r, type "msconfig" > Startup tab > advanced options > mark 'Maximum memory' > select '2048 '.
Restart your computer and check if it works.
I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade to 4 GB of RAM with this netbook? Processor-say it is capable if the internet is correct .
If it is possible, what kind of RAM it would take and would see how much improvement in speed?
Who worked very well because the number of product has been on the advertising.
You have the HP Mini 210-4014tu PC
Link to the product sheet page:
OK... to answer your question... Here is the link to the service manual.
Maximum memory is 2 GB. There is only one memory slot. See Chapter 1, page 2. My understanding is that even if you have W7 Starter, the 2 GB works perfectly. The manual States otherwise.

I want to upgrade RAM, up to 16 Gb. Help me, please - I don't understand how to set the compatibility of frequency and CASE latency of RAM and motherboard (sorry for my English). My motherboard frecuancy is a...
Memory how much my motherboard support?
Can I install DDR4 memory or not?
Or "the best"type of memory is DDR3L?
SO-DDR3 16 GB (2x8Gb) PC15000 - 1866 MHz Kingston HX318LS11IBK2/16? -1866 MHz frequency
If my choice is wrong, maybe I could install this (also DDR3L) RAM:
16Gb (2x8Gb) SO-DDR3 PC12800 1600 MHz Kingston CL9 HyperX HX316LS9IBK2/16 Impact black? -1600 MHz frequency
Kingston HyperX Impzact [HX316LS9IB/8] SODIMM?
And could you give me a tip of advise on upgrading the processor?
The only choice is i7 - 3770 s?

Ordered little RAM to upgrade my Toshiba Tecra Z40 - A, but can not find, for the life of me, anything where you want to insert online.
I previously installed RAM under the keyboard (couple of clips holding it) and on the other, a small cover on the bottom, but the Z40 does not appear to be anywhere easily accessible.
Has anyone upgraded RAM on the Z40? Or is it a big no, no, because of the guarantee?
Memory upgrade on this model Tecra is a bit complicated and, in my view, should not be done by the owner of the laptop. For some models of Ram upgrade can be done by the owner of the laptop and exact instructions how do proposed in document s user manuals, but not for your Tecra.
For full access to the RAM modules lower lid should be removed and it can be done by people of service only. If you do this alone you can void the warranty valid.
I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country and ask for help or advice.

I'm having some trouble with my Portege 4000 for the moment. I installed XP on a disk, but will no longer have that I have 256 MB of RAM...
-Have you tried 2 manufacturers but the PC133 512 is not compatible. However, my system has an IBM of PC100 256 chip, which was bought early last year, after much trial and error, and I wonder now if the motherboard will be more suited to the PC100 and PC133 non?
-Consider the options alternative to XP, 98SE or 2000 because they are lighter operating systems. I can put it on a spare drive (test). Is it possible to set up a partition for recovery CD Rom (which has 98SE) on this subject and have little space left over to install another Linux operating system or its Manager partition crushes everything?
-J' put another post for .exe drivers related to the display/vga for 98SE and 2000.
-Just for the record, not all Linux distributions seem to go back on the size of the screen, so it takes some work...
Thanks much for any help.

The protégé 4000 is compatible with the PC133 modules! AFAIK, you can upgrade RAM of this notebook 1 GB (1024 MB) and you can use these modules;
PC133 512 MB (PA3108U - 1 M 51)
PC133 256 MB (PA3086U - 1 M 25)
PC133 128 MB (PA3085U - 1 M 12)

You can create partitions on the HARD drive using a 3rd party like Partition Magic 8 tool. I use this tool and it's really nice.
After you create 2 or three partitions on the HARD disk, you could install different OS (operating systems).
There was a discussion here ("Tecra 8100 - upgrade RAM") on the upgrade memory.
He said that for TECRA 8000 - capacity maximum 256 MB memory (2 x 128). (unlike TECRA 8100 - which can be upgraded to 512)
Does anyone know if the BIOS change may allow 512 MB with TECRA 8000?
Thanks in advance,
I don t think that after updating the BIOS on the Tecra 8000, you will be able to use the 512 MB of memory.
Like you said you can use max 256 MB (2 x 128 MB SDRAM)
It's time to upgrade RAM and OWC claims it is safe to upgrade to 16 GB on my mid-2012 13 "MBP with 2.5 GHz processor Intel Core i5 and 500 GB hard drive, but everything on the Apple site indicates upgrade max is 8 GB. I want speed, but worry, it could be too much for the material.
Anyone else tried the more memory RAM successfully?
In theory this is your memory needs:
Maximum memory (Real) 16 GB 8 GB (Apple) Memory locations 2-204-pin PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM
The answer to your question is that you can upgrade to 16 GB. Because it depends on the machine itself, we cannot assure you that it is "safe". It may work or it may not work. This isn't a certified Apple upgrade. It is rather an upgrade coming OWC. They sell RAM for this upgrade. Other vendors such as DataMem and Crucial RAM probably do not sell 16 GB upgrade kits.
I want to ask about upgrading RAM for laptops,
I have the Toshiba Satellite L670D-106 want a change from 4 GB to 8 GB. In fact, I have 2 x 2 GB 1066 MHZ Ram inside. What Type of RAM can itake max? 1066 or 1300 or 1600 DDR 3?
THX for your answers
Toshiba offers modules to 4 GB compatible and tested for your machine and there PA3677U-1M4G part number. Check the specs of this module and pick up info that one you can use.
Please note: a lot of people are trying to use some modules cheap and later report here on this forum about the issues so I highly recommend you to obtain 100% compatible RAM.
See also the page of Kingston. Kingston offers quality and compatible modules for Toshiba laptops.
I want to ask about upgrading RAM for laptops,
I have the Toshiba Satellite L755 I want to change my 6 GB to 8 GB but I can't find as much RAM in a red circle in the picture but another number in yellow circle is same numbers.
My question is it ok to change it, because I can't get RAM even with the exact numbers in red or yellow circle?
Can you please send the complete model number (Satellite-L755-xxx) so I can check the exact laptop specification, just to see the details on the upgrade of RAM.
I have PSK1JE L650 - 10 H 00400GH2 with 4 GB 1066
I want to update 8 GB 1333
This module it supported?
dose the laptop has 2 springers to upgrade ram or more?
and one more thing, it is I can't find any data on this module in this site
When I try to auto detect the module of your software in my laptop it does not find
You can update the RAM up to 8 GB, but as much as I know bus Frontal (FSB) is limited to 1066 Mhz
Even if you want to use the 1333 Mhz modules, the FSB would be clock speed to the 1066 Mhz is not worth to use 1333 Mhz as this seed would not be used.
I hope that I will find closure to a long saga Finally, since late September, I looked to upgrade my Equium A60 memory, first of all, I ordered a microdirect Office ram chip (I know I know, really stupid thing to do...), then I ordered the good chip (from microdirect), but it did not work, I recently bought RAM from amazon , but they sent ram stones which, when it is too big for my expansion slot, and when I got the RAM, they sent me the same chip that I received before
I was ordering pc2100 512 MB SO - DIMM 200 pin, 266 MHz, which has been previously compatible comfirmed in you many on these forums.
now, I found the ram chip to the: http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/MPartspecs.Asp?mtbpoid=FF2F2894A5CA7304&WSMD=Equiu m + series + A60 & WSPN = CT419100
crucial who say are compatible, but it is pc2700,.
This chip compatible, or good crucail evil?
are also critical a company worthy of confidence to buy online?

I can't comment on Crucial given that I have no first hand experience of their products or services, but I used upgrades RAM of Orca logic in the past with no problems at all (I currently have two of their RAM modules in my SA30).
Their web site has a Finder memory, then I'd say comparing your RAM specifications with Orca. The URL is: -.
