  No, built-in weblogic server is not necessary in jdeveloper for bpel upgrade.

  If you are migrating bpel go separate domain and weblogic/managed servers, don't use integrated weblogic.

  I was wondering if anyone here can help me to run a simple test case to see if the embedded weblogic default security settings changed between two versions of jdev.

  You will need 2 computers connected to the same network and the two jdev 11.1.2.4 & 12.2.1 on one of them. Firewall to the wide settings or allow access to your on-board ports wls.

  1 machine A: launch jdev 11.1.2.4. Of the menu goto run-> 'Start an Instance server'.

  2 machine B: open a web browser and press on 'http://machine-A-ip:7101 / console"and cconfirm response of the connection of the console admin page.

  3 A: machine to terminate the instance in the menu and repeat wls embedded instance launched using jdev 12.2.1.

  4 machine B: repeat step 2. You see the page of the admin console?

  You can try and increase the settings memory used by WebLogic.

  Change the C:\Users\pk\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008\DefaultDomain\bin\setDomainEnv

  As my title suggests, so I try to increase the memory for my weblogic server in my 64-bit windows machine 7, with 8 GB of ram.

  Values seem to be: arguments of memory in JAVA: - Xms256m-Xmx512m - XX: PermSize = 128 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 512 m

  I did some research on this forum and I added to my jdev.conf:

  AddVMOption - XX: MaxPermSize = 1536M (in this one I only changed the value)

  AddVMOption-Xmx1536M

  AddVMOption-Xms1536M

  And I've changed that: MEM_ARGS = "- Xms1024m - Xmx1024m" in my startNodeManager.sh file

  I always get the same line in my server but I need to change the values as I do not get the server to run my application very well (it is stuck in the loading of my databases and graphics) and I think he will continue until I get an exception of heap error.

  Any ideas on how to change this?

  I went to this file and added set MEM_ARGS =-Xms512m Xmx1024m - XX: PermSize = 512 m - XX: MaxPermSize = 1024 m

  Restart the server. However, because this file is created by the configuration file, the values may be lost during the installation of extensions (as States hand file in a comment)

  I see some message on a proxy. Have you checked that you can use the proxy on your network?

  Somehow your credentials are corrupted. Two possible solution:

  (1) open your folder, system11.1.1.xxxx open the DefaultDomain\servers\DefaultServer\security folder and edit the boot.properties file. Delete the part '(AES)... ". «"after the username and password and write the new example of username = weblogic", password = "Welcome1" Save the file and try to restart the integrated server. Once the server starts the entries are encoded again.

  I used JDeveloper 11 g to do the same thing and it worked.
  
  I found that JDeveloepr 10.1.3.5 isn't any Assistant for Weblogic 10.3 connection, all the available wizards are
  for the version server 10.1.X.
  
  So please tell me if it is possible to do.
  
  The reason why I'm doing this is because I can't create composite applications, that my project only works with projects of the BSE.
  
  As I am new to Oracle SOA suite, I downloaded accidentally JDeveloper 11 g and SOA Suite 11 g etc.
  
  But I found that JDEveloper 11 g cannot create projects of BSE, it can only create composite projects.

  You use Jdeveloper 11 for WebLogic server 10.3.

  Projects of the BSE are now called mediator within a composite application. If you create the composite application and then insert a mediator object. When you open the mediator object, you get the old style 10g ESB project.

  As long as you start together the two version, you should be OK (I have version 6 installed on my pc).
  I had this discussion today in this {: identifier of the thread = 2249375}.
  The solution should work for you too.

• JDeveloper 11 g and integrated WebLogic Server JAVA_OPTIONS

  I'm looking for in the WebCenter portal at the moment and I tried to get the Mail Service works with my GMail account.
  To do this, an SSL connection must be made for GMail IMAP and SMTP servers.
  
  However, I kept running in "SunCertPathBuilderException: could not find the path of valid certification to requested target 'exceptions, which indicates that an SSL certificate has been received which was unknown to the application running on the integrated WebLogic Server."
  Certificates for GMail are apparently not present in DemoTrust.jks of the integrated WebLogic, but they were certainly in my JRE cacerts file. For some reason, it seems that, even if default WLS is configured to use the DemoTrust.jks, he found no certificates in my cacerts file. Even when I changed in the administration Console to use no key file at all or a new custom key file, the question came back.

  However, I could not seem to get rid of the option
  
  -Djavax.NET.SSL.trustStore=C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\DemoTrust.jks

  In fact, when I add echo % JAVA_OPTIONS % at the beginning, I can see that before running setDomainEnv.cmd, it is already set to:

  Is there a way to tell JDeveloper to get rid of the trustStore DemoTrust.jks? The only way I found was through the project properties-> Java EE Application--> command-line integrated WLS and withdrawal of the forest of {java.options} it altogether, but I want to be able to use other Java options. A solution would be to add the required certificates for the trustStore DemoTrust as well.

  Ah, I found whence this option.
  The key file can be configured via preferences-> credentials. Here comes this setting.
