  I would like to show a thumbnail of the image on a form page.
  I used the apex_util.get_blob_src - something but then it shows a large image.
  The problem is that I can not put the width and height. On a report, it works with a < img - tag > in the query, but I did not have this option in a form.
  
  Does anyone know how to fix this?
  
  This option is also possible (http://dgielis.blogspot.nl/2008/07/show-blob-of-other-table-in-apex-form.html), but my text field show only the < img > - tag. I don't know how to set up the field to only show the image... (in a report, you set "standard report column", but in forms?)

  This is not a URL, it's an HTML element. Inspect the source code, and I think you will find that the attribute src of the image element is completely garbled.

  Justin, the instructor, called the little box that immediately shows width/height a "box of width and height, but the search on this term is not productive.   I use APEX 4.2.5.00.08 to my app.

  I have a region of reports, where I display a column set. A column is the column attribute "display as" the value 'Popup LOV (LOV based query).

  I press the button to retrieve the LOV, I get a popup of 450 x 400 pixels.

  I go to the side of the model and navigate to "Popup list of values of model", where I can see in the section 'Window' attributes 'Width' and 'Height' value 450 and 400. I edit them and save them and there is nothing going on. I'm sure that the template belongs to my selected theme.

  I see that the values has not changed. I also connected and disconnected. I am inclined to believe that it is a bug of the APEX.

  The only solution I think is to replace this function, which is NOT ideal.

  The parameters are generated only, nothing you can do about it because it does not use the model for these properties of the couple. Other things work fine for example the names of button or title window etc. I guess that, Yes, it is a bug. It's still there in the apex 5 too, I checked. The default values of the template do not match, the value in the generated code is always 400/450. So I guess it's pretty much a wait on 5.1.

  Here's a fun hack to make it work well on your page (works in apex 5 too, because the code is always the same). Put this in the execute on loading of the page section:

  Change the settings to your liking. This will replace the existing window.open call, which is what the popup lov use and replace it with our own code. It does not interfere with other things. As the name of the new window is always "winLov" for the popup lov, it is the argument that is checked.

  During the call to window.open to open a new window with the name "winLov", parameters are replaced with your own version of it. The window is called as usual, using the stored reference.

  Yes, do not use the trick of resizing. My hack can be a bit tedious, but it's much less invasive for the end user (see open, bam, resize. "Even gets funky on multiple monitors). Also, this thing in the popup lov template will affect each lov popup that you use in the application, which is much less interesting than my specific page code.

  I did a little digging in the source code, and I don't know why it does not work. Popup lovs are actually equipped to deal with it. My guess is that the parameters are recovered only after that the lists were generated, causing the package variables global to use their default values instead of model parameters.

How are you able to change settings of the original title, without having to make a new title?   Unfortunately, the option of width and height sensitive is disabled for a touch of photoshop with layers.

  Although if you directly place one. PSD, that option will be activated.

  So what you could do is to place an image, assign reactive width and height, then double-click it and delete the content, so you no longer have the frame empty to the left, but sensitive to the width and height :-)

You should see a horizontal dotted line in the color of edges of framework that specifies the minimum height, you just put. Now that the video shrinks in width (and proportionately is shortened) the bounding box around it also will shorten (down to the minimum that you just put) and the following will be moving upwards to maintain the same distance from the gap of the video.

I paint rectangles with background picture fills in my layout. I need to have their scale size as well horizontally than vertically. However this option is still grayed out. It seems that you can only scale the objects horizontally (width). If I place a pre size image on the page, it can move in both directions. Why I can't scale boxes in both directions (width and height)? Am I missing something here?

  A rectangle in Muse has a particular behavior compared to what anyone on it. It will resize itself in height in response to a block of text or an image that is placed on top more more great in the browser, either due to the fluid width content in a design reagent or changes to text via inbrowserediting.com. We probably look for a magical combination of proportional height pseudo-device and resizing in response content for a future release, but for now, it is not part of Muse.

  However, you can always get what you want. A picture frame supports the height and fluid width. Thus, the "trick" to your situation is to use a picture frame.

  (1) place any image. Double-click it to said control band 'Image' (and not 'picture frame') and click on delete.

  You now have an empty picture frame, placeholder.

  (2) set the property to resize to the height and fluid width.

  (3) through the filler Panel applies your image background fill.

  Be aware, that a text box placed on top of this image will not cause the image to grow in height, if the text block grows in height due to browser resizing or editing text.

  Thank you all for your comments, that's why I'm so confused by the request because I calculated what 4,4 cm which is really small. I'll get them to confirm the actual size, because it's a very loose way of telling me the obligation and can be interpreted in many ways.
