  You can use navigateToURL() to add url links.  It is easier to add each charger to a movieclip and assign mouse listeners to the movieclip.

  A customer sent me a FLV video they would like on their Web page. I imported in Flash CS4 with the following options:

  External load

  SkinOverPlaySeekStop.SWF

  I export this SWF with HTML and when I view the HTML in Safari, I get the video and the controller on top of the video.

  When I put this on the Internet, the video plays but the SWF controller buttons disappear.

  I searched this forum to find answers and did not find anyone with the same issue.

  There should be 2. A FLV and SWF files. I want to just make sure they're allthere. You say "swf". One. SWF is the FLV player and the other. SWF is the skin. So, in your case, you should have "home_page_video.swf", "SkinOverPlaySeekStop.SWF" and the video - not sure of the name, "yourvideo.flv".

  I use AS3 becase it is the only way that I could understand how make a video play and stop with the buttons. I'm not married to the use of AS3. Basically what I want to do is make a video player that is very similar to that used on youtube. I want a video to play (video introduction to my Web site), and then at the end, a menu will appear to give links to other pages and other videos. I want to have a link on the video that will take you directly to the menu where you have seen the video and I want to just display the links or anything that is in the menu.

  There is no solution for this scenario.  The best way to handle this current version of BlackBerry device software would be to play the video in your own application by using the player class instead of launching the browser.
