Use case: initial value in the filter Table

Hello world

I've been struggling with this problem and I'm about to give up! :-(

My requirement is to have a table with filters, which must have an initial value, which must be visible by users as soon as it connects, then it can be default value for the filter change or deleted.

I use Jdev 12 c and jspx pages and unlimited workflow.

Please help me with all of the recommendations.

Kind regards

Jose.

Hello

Finally, I crushed filterModel of the table in this way, and it works!

public FilterableQueryDescriptor getFilterModel() {}

Map httpSessionMap = ADFContext.getCurrent () .getSessionScope ();

String freshLogin = (String) httpSessionMap.get ("freshLogin");

FacesCtrlSearchBinding = sbinding

(FacesCtrlSearchBinding) JSFUtils.resolveExpression ("#{bindings.}");

QPF FilterableQueryDescriptor = sbinding.getQueryDescriptor ((FilterableQueryDescriptor));

If (freshLogin == null) {}

Get the initial value

BindingContext bctx = BindingContext.getCurrent ();

BindingContainer links = bctx.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();

AttributeBinding attBinding = (AttributeBinding) bindings.get ("");

String userEntity = (String) attBinding.getInputValue ();

Assing as a criterion

Map fcMap = fqd.getFilterCriteria ();

fcMap.put ("", userEntity);

Run the query

sbinding.processQuery (new QueryEvent (getProjectsTable (), QPF));

Avoid the next run

httpSessionMap.put ("freshLogin", "false");

}

return the QPF;

}

Thank you very much for you help!

    Please someone help me.

    Jyoti

    Hi Jyoti,

    I think that the rowHeader = true does not work in 11.1.1.7. You can go with the programmatic approach.

    1 link table you with bean class

    2. the button click event of Action the code below

    private richeTableau empTable.

    {} public void filterTable (ActionEvent actionEvent)
    Add the code in the event here...
    FilterableQueryDescriptor = queryDescriptor
    (FilterableQueryDescriptor) getEmpTable () .getFilterModel ();
    If (queryDescriptor! = null &)
    queryDescriptor.getFilterCriteria ()! = null) {}
    queryDescriptor.getFilterCriteria () .clear ();
    getEmpTable () .queueEvent (new QueryEvent (getEmpTable (),
    queryDescriptor));
    }

    Hi gurus

    I created an object type and able to fill the values in it, now I want to create a nested table type of this object and fill it but looks like I'm doing something wrong, see my code below.

    Concerning

    Muzz

    Hi user,

    Here is another method that you can try-

    CREATE OR REPLACE

    ABC of the PROCEDURE

    IS

    v_print countries_t: = countries_t (countries_o('01','A',11));

    BEGIN

    DBMS_OUTPUT. Put_line (v_print (1).) COUNTRY_ID | v_print (1). COUNTRY_NAME | v_print (1). REGION_ID); -you're accessinf the first element of the nested table, which in turn points to the object.

    END;

    In the sections of the declaration you have assigned values to the nested table.

  • Initial values of the node

    The configuration guide, the initial value given to a node works as one according to the default rules and slow down the performance of the model.

    Perform the first value given for total functionality also contribute to performance problems.

    I think that everything that initializes a value in the Configurator can eventually have an impact on performance. From my experience, simpler models seems not have any notable performance degradation when using defaulting rules. It is usually noticed in the large models. However, in almost all occasions, I encounter undesirable side effects of the use of the default values. The biggest problem is that you can run any questions, if you decide to change the 'initial' value and restore it later a model with the original 'initial value '. in these cases, when the model is restored, the initial value or the default value is not saved as an entry. Instead, the new default is applied. These is generally not desirable.

    For the totals, I suggest that you write a rule that contributes the initial value of the total immediately when the model is true.

    Thank you

  • How to set the initial value of the same value as the Page loading of SelectOneMenu

    Hello

    I noticed that in my value = "#{bean.selectedItem page}" of selectonemenu is always null when loading the page and because of that there is a difference in the initial value and the value sent as valuechangelistener is shot because of this difference, I don't want to happen. "

    I call the method to load the values into selectonemenu in the constructor of my bean.

    How can I make sure that the initial value is always the same as the value at the time of page load so that valuechangelistener would not fire unless the user changes the options in selectonemenu. Because of this problem I am facing a lot of issues like valuechangelistener is going to get fired.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Yes, you will need to find a way to set the value before the creation of the part of the view. Generally, there are two ways. There are at least two ways, I tend to use:

    (1) loading deferred; you would get a Get accessor like this method:

    public String getValue(){
      if(value == null){
        // code here to get value from wherever
      }

      return value;
    }

    (2) initialize properties in a method annotated with @PostConstruct in your backing bean

    @PostConstruct
    public void initialize(){
      value = whatever;
    }

    Hope that helps you. If this isn't the case, so I totally misunderstood you and you try to explain more clearly what your problem is.

    Hello

    You can retrieve the value selected in the PivotFilterBar through the PivotFilterBar model, instead of dataaccess:

    Download the template of the bar pivot filter instance
    QueryDescriptior queryDescriptor = (QueryDescriptor) pivotFilterBar.getValue ();

    retrieve a list of criterion, each of them is used to fill each lov in the pivot filter bar
    ConjunctionCriterion conjunctionCriterion = queryDescriptor.getConjunctionCriterion ();
    List criterionList = conjunctionCriterion.getCriterionList ();
    for (int i = 0; i)<_criterionList.size(); i++)="">
    AttributeCriterion = (AttributeCriterion) criterionList.get (i) criterion.

    _selected is the currently selected value
    Selected object = criterion.getValues () .get (0);

    System.out.println (_selected);
    }

  • Set initial value as the number of sequence/date/from the user

    Hi guys, I created a datablock and set up the user interface to allow users to insert all the data they need, however my table has a:

    ID - which is uniqe with each entry of the table is then gernerate by a sequence (that I created on the database), but when I put seq.nextval in the initial value on the datablock it says that I can not do that, so how can I use the sequence to insert the value in this field in the database. It's my first key in my whichobviosuly database my users cannot enter data for, on the contrary, it is generated automatically.

    User - in the same way in the datablock is a user field that has the user that inserted record, I know I can set the default for this field, but how to make the user automatically insert through forms on the database.

    Same again how put SYSDATE is automatically entered in the field date when the user submits the file?

    Any help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    The DUAL table:
    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/queries009.htm#sthref3198

    With: new, you reference the column should be inserted (in a trigger to update you: old and: where new: old contains the value before and: new value after the update of the column)

    Regarding your real problem: without a few pieces of code fails and you did, it's a little difficult to say what happened here. If you could get better answers by sharing.

    Sharing also the Versions of database (4 digits) and Versions of forms is important in order to obtain a response apropriate.

    Anyway: you seem to be new to the whole forms / SQL / PL/SQL stuff, so I might suggest:
    http://Tahiti.Oracle.com is a very good starting point for SQL and PL/SQL. This isn't a RTFM but rather a Council. Once you got used to you will like it. For my part, I could not live without tahiti: D.

  • How to use setViewportBounds (Bounds value) to the ScrollPane?

    How to use setViewportBounds (Bounds value) to the ScrollPane? This method is, visually, what for? I tried to put a specific Bounds.minY to have a precise scrolling in the axis Y in vain. I use the setVvalue() method to scroll, but it is not convenient to exactly locate a position in the coordinates of the node content listed in the scroll pane.

    The viewportBounds are the limits of the viewport (i.e., the visible part of the content) in the scrolling pane itself, if I understand correctly. The way to access programmatically is by setting the vValue property.

    I have not tried, but if you do something like

    scrollPane.setVmin(0);
    DoubleBinding vmax = new DoubleBinding() {
         { super.bind(scrollPane.viewportBounds(), content.heightProperty()); }
         @Override
         public double computeValue() {
            return content.getHeight() - scrollPane.getViewportBounds().getHeight() ;
         }
    };
    scrollPane.vmaxProperty().bind(vmax);

    to configure your component to scroll, then you can call setVvalue (...) and just pass a location of coordinates for your content node. This assumes that your content node is a region or a control; you will have to perhaps a little logic in the method computeValue() to deal with the cases where the display window is greater than the additional content.

    How to assign values to the nested table and passes as a parameter for the procedure?
    >
    Well you do almost everything bad that could be hurt.

    Here is the code that works to insert data into your table (the procedure is not even necessary).

    declare
    p_sl_num NUMBER := 1001;
    p_description VARCHAR2(50) := 'Testing Val1';
    inval1 test_type1 := test_type1();
    inval2 test_type2 := test_type2();
    begin
    inval1.extend();
    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');
    inval2.extend();
    inval2(1) := test_object2('testy1', 'testy2', 'testy3');

    INSERT INTO test_object_tpe
    (
    sl_num,
    description,
    main_val1,
    main_val2
    )
    VALUES
    (p_sl_num, p_description, inval1, inval2);
    commit;
    end;
    /

    See example 5-15 making reference to an element of nested Table Chapter 5 using PL/SQL collections and records in the PL/SQL doc
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28370/Collections.htm#CJABEBEA

    1. you don't even have the procedure because it is a simple INSERTION in the table you can do directly (see my above code)

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    Since you have not yet created all the elements, there is no element 1 "inval1". You need EXTEND the collection to add an element

    inval1.extend();

    And then, there is an empty element, but "inval1" is a container for objects of type 'test_object1' not for scalars as "val1", "val2", and "val3".
    If you can not do

    inval1(1).val1 := 'testx1';

    You must create an instance of 'test_object1 '.

    inval1(1) := test_object1('testx1', 'testx2', 'testx3');

    And so on for the other collection

    You don't need the procedure (as my code example shows), but once you fill in the variables correctly it will work.

  • You will have to give the value of the filter at run time condition.

    Hi experts

    I have a requirement in which I need to give the value of the filter at run time, for example Project_code = "XYZ"
    The XYZ value should be given at run time. How can achieve us?

    Thanks and greetings
    Frank

    Hi Jos,

    1. create a PROJECT_CODE to say as alphanumeric variable, as non-persistent data type and use it as a filter in your mapping.

    2 drag and drop the variable twice in your package make that as a declared variable and in the second stage that do like Variable refresh then in step 3 of your interface.

    3 generate a script and executing that give scenario the value you desired, press enter once you have given, otherwise it will not fetch the entry and make sure that the LAST VALUE is DISABLED.

    This way you can give values to the varaible running.

    Thank you

  • Referencing of the values of the dynamic tables

    Hi you all!

    You can start of Poland then switch to English and watch that all filled. Someone else can do the same thing

    but starts of English and following pages in Polish. There is also a German part in it.

    Previously, it was a static form for each value had been spread between parts of a document

    Now I have a dynamic PDF with dynamic arrays. I have to generate rows in the same table

    in each languages part and a person who can go to any language (part of the document).

    I enclose a small example of two subforms. Each represents the different language version. Buttons

    I tried to write formulas for cells to Exchange data between. In this example, this works. When I import these

  • Calculate the maximum value of the sub-table when creating using a structure of case and records the shift

    I have two 1 d arrays that contain cyclical information (a bit like a sine wave).  One that contains information about the position in degrees and another that contains the couple.  I would like to calculate the value of maximum torque whenever the station is within a certain range (for example, 30 to 80 degrees).  The beaches are repeated - that is why it is cyclical.   I use the function "in the range", a structure of the case and the shift records to build a new table with the values that are included in the beach I said - that was easy part (see attached VI).  I'm struggling with a way to calculate a maximum value for each sub-table formed when the values are 'in range '.   Your help is very appreciated.

    vt92 solution worked!  I agree that there should be a simpler solution, but your to works fine.  Thank you very much.

    Hello

    Since I don't know all your table structure, it was just a quick sampling of the approach.

    I guess that your LOV would have the correct where clause to control its content, and you can add additional conditions to the IR where clause as well.

    Here is an example of one of my IR where clauses

    the case when: P200_DEPARTMENT = 0 then 1

    When: P200_DEPARTMENT <> 0 and: P200_CREW = 0 and: P200_DEPARTMENT = c.crewdeptkey, 1
