  But I have a problem when I create report for APEX with Altova StyleVision.

  I use Oracle XE 11 GR 2, APEX 4.2 and APEX auditor 2.0.4.

  At the TOP, I created a State with 14 queries and I exported in XML format.

  I can build four tables (4 different queries / rowset) in my report and PDF printing.

  But I have a problem when I want to add a fifth (table) query in my report:

  When I generate the PDF on my APEX application, I got the following error message:

  "The error page displaying the error ORA-01403: no data available ORA-06502: PL / SQL: digital error or value."

  Do you know why I get this error message when my report is 5 queries?

  Is the number of queries in a PDF report limited?

  For more information, I solved the problem by installing the Apex 4.2.3.

  I still got the message "String index out of range:-1" when I download the xml file, but the reports with more than 4 questions work!

  I have a new installation of VSphere 4 with 2 Exchange 2007 servers running on a host in the VSphere client it shows constantly guest memory usage over 90%.  When I connect either way of the Server Task Manager and performance monitor the two reoprt much more low usage.

  Both servers VM tools are installed and are the two installs everything new.

  I have triggers associated with the use of memory so I get alerts by e-mail and would really like to ths to work properly.

  I've created an interactive report with a link to a column that is supposed to have access to another report on another pop up page that is based on a custom template. The problem is, when you create the link, I select 'Page in the present application' means the page number of the report, but when I try to pick a name, any name point wouldn't come to the lov from the report that I am tying. What I'm missing here?
  
  The two reports have access to the same table. The interactive report is your standard of several line, while the other custom template report shows only one line, in a format of Memo style.

  Hey Stan,

  your report popup page contains page elements? Because you can set page elements in a report link. In your SQL report, you use the page element in the WHERE clause to limit the output to the selected value.

• 2013 Word to PDF using print (memory)

  Can anyone help? I'm doing a PDF from 2013 Word. I have disabled the add-in Word PDF (as somebody said that would cause problems with acrobat 11). so I try to PDF from word using PRINT (then select Adobe PDF as the printer). But I get a dialog pop up saying "the is not enough disk space or menmory to repaginate or print this document" - it is not a long document (40 pages) and contains mainly text. Any help would be appreciated. I can't find a solution. Sometimes he PDFs to a few pages.

  I think that we must consider the advice to turn off Word add-in. While Acrobat XI is updated, the Word add-in made specifically by Adobe for use in Word, it is difficult to see what are the problems you could be avoided. (Of course, the original XI Acrobat was not supported by Word 2013, were able to sense of the opinions originally).

  The add-in is preferable to the printer, although slower - this seems a curious word error for a 40 page document. (Seems that it must be an error in Word as the repagination happens before printing, assuming that the disk is not actually full).

• LabVIEW DIAdem PDF report data export

  Im trying to export a LabVIEW data XY graph in DIAdem. I can load a layout of specific report programmatically and display data on the XY graph successfully, however I woud also like to allow the user in LV change the axis of the graph as well as the data that applies are displayed in the PDF report. The type of displayed diagrams are measures acoustic frequency for example response. The axis x are not the problem as it is auto-scaling, the y-axis are interesting in this case. I would like to display + 10 dB to-60 dB for example. Is it possible programmatically by using a script that she controlled by LV somehow?

  The only way I could really think was to cut the table to + 10 dB to-60 dB for example and export to DIAdem where the value axis are set to auto-scaling... are there other methods?

  Secondly, I would like to create a single PDF with multiple pages for the different measures which will take place in a series of tests. Is it possible without the help of a kind of external application to merge them after?

  Third, import of tables from text in a 2D array any... I have a table 2D (2 x 20) with about 20 metrics that I want to display in the report. Can I use an object in DIAdem for this? The only other method I know that work is to define multiple fields 'free text' and use the 'Text values' entry of report VI DIAdem to fill these fields... is there anything faster or more effective? The great thing about importing a text to a single 2D table object table is the table can have different values/properties and sizes every time.

  Fourthly, I believe that NEITHER should lead to a kind of PDF Toolbox which allows vector graphics and features that I described above... I know the PDF Carya Toolbox, but I used the demo version and looked at the resolution of the graphics to find that they were not vector as I had hoped. Its functionality to export a real problem that the generation of PDF report in this form using tiara, to pay a price to pay 1000 euros using only the PDF file. I also believe that there is a single license too, so each automated system incorperates a 1000 euros license needed! is there another way with regard to the licenses/options? I'm sure many other developers feel the same way, as the generation of PDF in any industry is a must these days.

  After harassing OR support here in Germany, they gave me a solution. It seems that the compiled exe could not find script files, so no data exchange with tiara. See below for the solution!

• OptiPlex 960 - can he use DDR3 memory?

  I recently bought a lease Optiplex Dell 960MT.  It came with 2 GB memory DDR2, I need to increase.  I can get 8 GB of DDR3 for the same price as the 4 GB of DDR2 memory DDR2 prices are much higher than for DDR3 RAM.  According to the service manual Dell Optiplex 96, in 960 Opti chipset is 'Chipset Intel Q45 Express w/ICH10DO' http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/desktop-optiplex-960-technical-guidebook-en.pdf . According to the specifications of Intel for the 960 Opti chipset, it can use DDR3 memory http://ark.intel.com/products/36527/82Q45-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller-Hub.  So, I found a few retailers who sell a refurbed Opti 960 which, claim, have the DDR3 memory in them http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Professional-Professionally-Refurbished-Refurbisher/dp/B0057GPUXE.  So is the Optiplex 960 able to use DDR3 and, if it is, what specs?

  If the two are the exact same length and the number of pins, they have a different architecture.

  Also the "notch" on the cylinder is in a different location, so you can't physically put DDR2 ram in one slot of DDR3, or vice versa.

  What I would like to have is a line graph with:

  • Date on the x-axis
  • Length of value on axis y
  • for each Description of Type single line

  The names and numbers of the discription varies a lot (as well as the values that they are related to the Description and date).

  What I tried:

  A lot, trying to make this work for 4 weeks, on and outside.

  Tried to edit the chart XML in Word, edit the SQL query, pivot the result SQL to get the Descriptions as columns and of course a lot of Googling.

  We face a similar problem in PDF reports in Unicode Arabic / English.

  I'm working on the Oracle 10 g database and application server 10g on windows 2008 in Arab environment platform.
  We need get the menu & right to left on the Arabic mode forms and his come properly.

  Our filed data can contain mixed data like Arabic and English / Arabic full or full English.
  Problem: While taking reports in PDF format, it shows the mixed data (Arabic and English), not the same which is stored
  in the database.

  I made the following adjustments:
  -Oracle NLS_Characterset as AR8IS08859P6 Server
  -Oracle Database registery NLS_LANG as ARABIC_UNITED, UNITED ARAB Emirates. AR8MSWIN1256
  -Application Server registery NLS_LANG as Arabic_Egypt.AR8MSWIN1256
  -policies which create subsets in unicode.ali for PDF

  -police MS san serif is used in reports

  Please, try the following solution to the MOS Doc ID 473513.1

  1. Add the following environment of reports Environment Variable.

  REPORTS_BIDI_ALGORITHM = UNICODE

  or

  REPORTS_BIDI_ALGORITHM = IMPROVED

  Under Windows, you can set them in the registry and on Unix platforms, you can define them in $ORACLE_HOME/bin/reports.sh.

  2. restart the report server.
  3. run the report.

• Average use of memory to Get Stat

  I am running this report and you want to add average use of memory in GB.  I want to take into account all the memory that a VM has been demanding of ESXi, including overhead.

  Get - vm | Select name, memoryGB

  How can I add the average demand of memory to this report?

  Get-StatType -Interval "Past Week" -Entity AnyVM | where {$_ -match "mem"}
  

  Just replace AnyVM with the name of a virtual machine in your environment

• ViewPlanner 3.0 device: Questions generation PDF report

  I have problems with the Scheduler 3.0 display where it is not automatically generate the PDF report after a race.
  The attached viewplanner.log file shows a series of 16 desktops VDI.  Desktop download it results and the PDF file
  creation seems to start but get the following error:

  There has been some problems with the PDFgen script for some configurations. I have attached a new script of reports that you can use (Please replace it in/root/ViewPlanner directory of the harness).

  Python $ PDFgen.pyc '-time-of-the-start test.

• How to generate an output PDF report when the layout template is an Excel file in the editor of BI 11.1.1.7

  That's what I did...

  1. create the new report

  2 create a report using an existing data model (browse and choose a data model)

  3. How do you create your report? (click used report editor)

  4. click on finished (and then saved the report)

  5. then he asked me to create the page layout (I chose to download or generate a layout and then traveled to a downloaded my model with XDO_ * the columns of the excel data model mappings)

  Template file = model Excel, locale = English (United States)

  5. click on Upload

  6. then click view the report top-right, which has opened my file name of "my_report_layoutname.xls" with sheet report 1 (OPE all mapped very well) and a sheet of xdo_metadata.

  I just wanted to step 6 is a sheet 1 pdf report.    How do I do that?  Could not find the place where I can clarify that.

  Layouts Excel generate only one exit Excel. (CSV takes no account of the provision is therefore an option for any layout.)

  You use RTF or PDF or page Template Builder (XPT) layouts to generate PDFS.

  The LOV to find output formats by modifying the report and selecting a list.

  The table has a column to the output formats, it is controlled by the format of the presentation that you have built.
