Using a custom converter and textSelectedColor

Hello

I use a custom converter and try to figure out how I can capture/set some Label controls located in this converter using the textSelectedColor style property.

I have a list control, and item converter is essentially this:

< mx:Canvas >
< mx:Label id = "someLabel" / >
< / mx:Canvas >

With a little more control, but this is the jist of it.

When an item is selected in the list I want to change the color of the label, now, I tried a number of ways, but none that I like, for example, I can define a handler for the ListEvent.CHANGE and if(this == event.itemRenderer), but if you lose focus for a reason, it is not being updated I must add a focus Manager to... it seems just pirate.

So my question is how can we check properly style changes in the list send down my item converter? Specifically, the textSelectedColor. Other styles like the alternatingItemColors, selectionColor, etc. work without custom code for it; BTW.

Thanks for the help.

Got understood it...

var listOwner:List = List (this.owner);

if(!this.) Enabled)
{
c = this.getStyle ("disabledColor");
}
Another yew (listOwner.isItemHighlighted (this.data))
{
c = this.getStyle ("textRollOverColor");
}
Another yew (listOwner.isItemSelected (this.data))
{

on the other

lblDate.setStyle ("color", c);
lblInstructorName.setStyle ("color", c);
lblCourseName.setStyle ("color", c);

  • Use a custom in a map icon

    I created a custom font, which consists of 15 simple icons. Each icon is mapped to a unique position. For example, type "A" produced the first icon, typing a 'B' produced the second icon, etc. The police is an OpenType font, and it works fine in all my office applications. I would like to use this font on a map.

    I downloaded the files of OTF provided this font custom that another police OTF (km) text content & Layouts > fonts.

    I have a card that contains 2 fields of text box: Description and title. Description use my custom font, and the title used by the police of km.

    In collections that are mapped to this card, I have an 'A', 'B' or 'C' in the Description field, and my title of the current collection in the field. So I expect that there would be an icon appears on the first line of the card, followed by the title of the collection displayed in km on the second line.

    But the police of the icon does not display the icon. It shows only a capital A, B or C. The title of the map by using the font of km appears correctly.

    Isn't this possible? I'd wait the police icon to work properly, since the system has no way of knowing that the 'A' looks different than a usual A, B looks different from a and B, etc.

    Also, I tried this visualization as my Preflight custom app that my application development custom iOS and Android.

    I got this to work, but 2 things I learned, in case anyone has the same problem:

    1. the police I used was a police custom that I created that had only a single character (a capital ' A') that I created for the test. Until I filled the police with the characters A to Z and a to z, the police gave a strange error message when you try to use the font in a card.

    2 as Nathan said, you must rebuild the application after adding a font. I had forgotten that.

    FWIW, I used the excellent "Indyfont" script for InDesign to quickly create an OpenType font containing the 15 special icon characters we need. Has no time at all to create the font. See Indiscripts: already

  • I have problems with of the Subvi after the use of customized device model

    I used to start my machine personalized customized device model and I got success in the deployment until I started to do more complicated the Subvi.   I am currently trying to convert low FPGA and high ticks to the duty cycle, but for some reason when I add it to the RT VI "Data read of HW" driver, it seems to cause a downtime... ideas? Is a circuit agree? I have added a time delay but I am still having problems. It is a device online, so I'm suspicious of it hogging resources, but am not sure.

    Attached images are meant to be read like this:

    1. the case of the RT pilot ReadDataFromHW

    2. it's the Subvi calling ToDutyCycle SIMStimPWMSubVI

    3 ShiftRegister.PNG is inside the Subvi.

    As a robotician I celebrate early and often (usually by a failure or two...), but it seems that the answer was to transform fundamentally the While loop for a loop with a count of 1 and then remove the additional elements to ensure that each shift register has that one and then right click on the shift registers and convert at the Feedback node...
    I was able to deploy to VeriStand as a custom device and it runs and calculates the factor of use with no problems. WOOHOO! Where - what is celebrate button!

  • How can I use a custom tool easy to machine the same LabVIEW is the basis on average DC - RMS VI

    I use a cRio 9024 and read PWM with an analog input card 9205.  It was suggested that I use the basis on average DC - RMS VI to convert the voltage of the PWM signal into an analog signal (effective value) for use in my system.  The problem is that the 9024 can use LabVIEW models (it's VxWorks). I work through the device a custom tool easy and I wonder if someone can guide me in the right direction.

    I am running Veristand 2014, cRio-9024, 6modules, and run the scan engine.  It seems that's the reason why I can't read analog voltage (starting a PWM signal) since the signal is running at 200 Hz and the Scan Engine runs at 500 Hz.   I tried to avoid making a custom device or an FPGA and found a work around using the 9401 in counter mode.  I can get the numbers that I need, that's how I'm heading at the moment.  I would like to custom device approach, but not this sprint.

  • Custom hardware and the module of ARM

    Hello world

    Our company is in the early stages of designing a custom measuring device. In the past we used Microchip microcontrollers (PIC16 and 18), a simple IDE and a C compiler, but for the new generation of devices we will use microcontrollers from Luminary Micro ARM. Since we are also users of LabVIEW, the choice for the LabVIEW embedded module for ARM seems logical. I read a lot of documentation OR and watched the tutorials, but I'm still uncertain on what we may or may not do with the module. Until we buy eval kits and the module, I need to have some facts.

    1. The 'heart' of our circuit is a microcontroller LM3S1968, this MCU is ARM Cortex-M3 based. It is listed in Keil device database (http://www.keil.com/dd/), then is also a LabVIEW "Tier 1" - peripheral (http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7066)? ".
    2. What I have to add the MCU manually to the project as described in http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7152, or can I just it select from a menu?
    3. We already have a LM3S1968 evaluation kit (http://www.luminarymicro.com/products/lm3s1968_evaluation_kits.html) and a programming JTAG device. We can use these hardware components to evaluate the LabVIEW ARM module or should I buy a complete kit of NOR (including the dev board)?
    4. Is a JTAG connector on our device and a connection for a JTAG debugger, all I need for debugging the device with LabVIEW?
    5. Assessment OR (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/205040) kit includes JTAG Keil ULink2 adapter on the photo?
    6. We want to connect the MCU to a converter A/D, the AD7738 of Analog Devices (http://www.analog.com/en/analog-to-digital-converters/ad-converters/ad7738/products/product.html). We will use the SPI bus for communication and I know what codes to send to get a basic reading. What I need to use the SPI-Subvi and send the hex codes or can I use a Subvi 'AD7738' built-in device drivers CD?

    I apologize in advance for the number of questions, it's just that the use of LabVIEW for the development of material is completely new to me

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Paul

    Hello Paul!

    I'll try to answer your questions and I hope someone else can add more information if necessary.

    Answer: no, that would be a level 2 device, we now offer three level 1 devices and information on these can be found on the link you condition.

    1. What I have to add the MCU manually to the project as described in http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/7152, or can I just it select from a menu?

    Answer: you need to add yourself as described in the link you provided.

    Answer: is trickier, LV Module Embedded for ARM in trial mode will have some limitations (size applications, can open the development environment for a number of days and so on), but it should not have limits when it comes to other targets as described in the links that you have already provided. When it comes to the JTAG interface, I would recommend using the Keil ULINK2 USB-JTAG.

    1. Is a JTAG connector on our device and a connection for a JTAG debugger, all I need for debugging the device with LabVIEW?

    Answer: I would like to make use of the Keil ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter for debugging and allows us to download the code on the target. In fact, it's the only way we can download code on the ARM, but we can use a serial port / TCP in addition to JTAG debugging.

    1. Assessment OR (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/205040) kit includes JTAG Keil ULink2 adapter on the photo?

    Answer: Yes.

    Answer: I/O could be implemented using the basic IO layer provide us as described here:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7119

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/tut/p/ID/7144

    I hope this helps!
