  I'm new to photoshop and I'm trying to change the background color.

  I clicked on the menu, "select", then "color range", "overview of the selection" gray scale selected, then clicked OK, this has highlighted the sections I wanted to change the color of black.

  I then went to the "Layer" menu then "new adjustment layer" then "hue/saturation" where I could use the slider to change the color, but I would like to change the color of a color in my library (my colors brand) or at least use a color picker to choose these colors or enter a hexadecimal value.

  Some help would be greatly appreciated, I can't find anything online to help.

  If you start a new file, the easiest way is to choose the background color immediately:

  I chose the background color, and you can type in the hexadecimal code. You can even save this preset.

  

  For a file existing, presupposed the background layer has a different solid color: change the background layer to a regular layer (must be unlocked, changing the shade of foreground (you can use the color picker), use select all to select the entire layer and use the paint bucket to fill with the foreground color.)

• Suggestions to save commonly used color charts

  I could save a lot of time if I had an easy way to load and update a range of shade for Premiere Pro.  Because the color picker does not include an option for the recently used colors, constantly, I type in the numeric values for customer color schemes and useful colors.  Am I missing something here?

• Why my printer HP Officejet 6600 uses color ink even if I'm not printing in color?

  I've had this printer about a year now. I replaced the full range of ink at least 3 times now, working on 4. I don't post much at all. A couple of leaves a day or two. I always thought she was using color ink very quickly so I thought I'd put it to the test. I changed the default settings in black ink only. I have replaced all the ink cartiridges, color and black. I decided this time I would not print anything in color just to see what happened. Well, the same thing is happening as if I were with color ink. The color ink is empty much faster than black ink. This seems weird to me. Now, we are at the point where it will not be printed unless I have replace the magentia. It seems unfair that they do not mention this clearly when you buy the item.   Since you already have the cod file, you can manually load the file of cod for your library of third party on the simulator by clicking the file menu in the upper corner of the Simulator window.

  Three things I can think of:

  Your document must be in RGB mode.

  Layer blending mode should be set to Normal

  Masks are grayscale. If you select the mask, you cannot apply a color.

  Always check your tab at the top to see if what you choose is RGB or grayscale.

  PANTONE solid colors are tones when you add in the book of colors, but the moment you delete them in order to 'clean up' the file, you convert spot colors to process. Of course Illustrator is unclear to them as Pantone colors.

  If you want to "clean up" your file, why not just use the command "select not used" in the Panel menu?

  Select all objects, and then edit > edit colors > Art Recolorier

  You should read about how to use it in the manual.

  Edit: To work with color chart created, you have no need identify the objects. 'Add used colors' creates the global swatches. You can just merge swatches, leaving only the shades you want to have. Objects will change accordingly.
